Thanks for your review glad you all enjoyed your holiday.It is a quiet & peaceful area but within walking distance to the village and a short drive to Kalkan.Being in the hills it also provides some relief from this summers heatwaves.

Thanks Teri glad you enjoyed the villa and Islamlar. It is more peaceful and not as humid as Kalkan but within easy reach and it is in a proper rural community where life goes on virtually untouched by tourism apart from all the local restaurants of course! Being in the countryside you may come across wildlife like scorpions although they look scary they are pretty harmless and not common. It is compensated by the profusion of more welcome wildlife, the birds flowers and butterflies. Glad to hear you were well looked after, Yusuf and his family do a good job. Hope to see you again. Hi Steven as you know the villa is in a quiet and peaceful area and maybe not suitable for your booking of 10 single men as it really is a family villa and wonderful for children. As you made an automatic booking we had no say in the matter although we did stress to you the nature of the area. As you know there were a number of complaints even from villas not very near. We want people to enjoy themselves but have never had complaints like this before. Pat

Hi Jhnet really glad to hear you enjoyed the villa and had an amazing time. While it’s fair to say the villa is no longer isolated, it’s also fair to say that it retains its, peace privacy and stunning views in a secluded rural setting with few neighbours and the website has been updated to reflect that. The villa stands in a 2000 square metre plot with a huge frontage and can’t even be seen from the road. The small villa on one side is closed off on our side where there is only the drive and car park. The spacious main outdoor living area, pool and patio are on the other side out of sight and hearing. Our builder, Mahmut who owns the extensive area, has built two one bed chalets and a villa for himself with one bed apartment under, which tells you a lot about the desirability of the area and views. All stand in their own landscaped grounds. We had input into the screening and natural stone walls. He like us values the space, privacy and peace of the area and has been careful to retain our privacy and those of his villas and there will be no more building. They are not near the villa and do not overlook our pool and patio area. There is a very large area between us that has been planted up with fruit and olive trees which will enhance the landscape. This is very much in contrast with urban areas like Kalkan where villas are cheek by jowl even in front with little privacy. I am totally confident that guests past and future will continue to enjoy this special villa and its peace, space, privacy and stunning unobstructed views down the valley to the sea.

Hi Kalfan I'm not surprised you mention recent development has not been intrusive, it is a secluded area on the edge of the village with mostly small scale villas at low density unlike a lot of Turkey and the med. I'm sorry about the problem with the air-con unit, apparently there was a problem with its pipework in the wall as well as a problem with the unit which involed resiting it. All ok now and the bathrom drain has been looked at. Islamlar is a very special place and I agree with your comments. Hope to see you again someday.
