Lovely cottage.Had everything we needed. Such a lovely setting and only a 20 minute walk into Cupar town. Thank you Margo for a lovely weekend. Would definitely recommend a visit.

beautiful quiet little cottage located on the estate with lots of wildlife, deer, rabbits, squirrels. if the weather permits (we had a little bit of luck) you can also lounge in your own private garden.well equipped, nicely decorated, friendly owner. Cupar has all the shops for your daily groceries. Lots to see in the area, we visited St Andrews and went to Edinburgh by train.so… to be recommended.

Delightful cottage next to beautiful countryside. Calm sanctuary yet within easy driving distance to St Andrews. Visited by deer, pheasants and rabbits. The home-made bread and welcome groceries was a lovely touch and much appreciated! Thank you Margo

We enjoyed our stay at Garden Cottage which is a quirky quintessentially country cottage. It is well situated to visit local attractions and Dundee, St Andrew’s, Edinburgh and the Fife coast. The cottage was quiet with lovely woodland and farm views yet a short walk took you into Cupar town centre for the shops and eateries. It was helpful to have access to a pay-to-use EV charger opposite the cottage. Owner Margo was helpful with answering our questions before and during our visit. It was a lovely surprise to have the goodies on arrival - Thank you.

A wonderful retreat in idyllic setting

We absolutely loved our time in this gorgeous cottage. From the deers dancing around the fields to the family touches around the home, we’d come back in a heartbeat - and for longer!

Lovely cottage in quiet location

A little gem of a cottage. It was perfectly situated for all the local attractions we wanted to see including St. Andrews and the Fife costal villages. The cottage itself was cosy, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The owner made us feel very welcome especially with the delicious freshly baked bread, looking forward to our next stay.

Cosy Cottage

The cottage is very cosy and nicely furnished. A beautifule secluded setting but just minutes from Cupar centre and well placed for exploration of Fife and the surrounding area. We'll certainly be back.

Fife stay

A wonderful location for a quiet stay but coastal villages and St Andrews within easy access. Margo was an excellent host, leaving so many things including still warm home made bread. It was very comfortable with everthing you could need for self catering. We would certainly recommend this cottage and will return again ourselves.

Complete tranquillity!

A beautiful period property, decorated in a country cottage style. Very comfy mattresses and pillows. The kitchen has every utensil and piece of equipment necessary for a relaxing, self catering stay. The living room has a beautiful log fire for a cosy night in and the grounds are extensive, giving complete privacy and tranquility. Our host, Margo, was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our email. Lots of lovely little touches, like the fresh bread, butter, milk, eggs and flowers. A most memorable stay!

Gorgeous very well equipped cottage. Excellent location for visiting fife. Incredibly comfy beds and spotlessly clean. We enjoyed sitting outside in the late afternoon.

Location was excellent. Very quiet. Cottage was very clean and had everything required. Cottage was very warm as the heating was on a timer and didn’t need to use the fire. Would stay again.

What a lovely stay we had in Cupar. Too short indeed. Margo gave us great information on shops and restaurants in the area and several website links to search. The home was perfect for our short stay.

Charming Country Cottage

Perfect, quiet cottage to explore Fife.

The cottage exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our 3 weeks in Fife. The house is well equipped for a family stay and in a lovely location. Margo was a responsive host.
