Bienvenue chez nous! Nous proposons une charmante maison de campagne sur près d'un acre de terrain idéalement situé à cinq minutes du métro nord, de la station Harlem Valley-Wingdale ou à 90 minutes en voiture de New York. Les domaines skiables locaux, les vignobles, les adorables villes de la vallée de l'Hudson (Millbrook, Millerton, Amenia, Kent) sont à une courte distance en voiture.

La maison est de trois chambres, avec un coin couchage au sous-sol (chacune avec un lit queen-size). Il offre toutes les commodités nécessaires à un séjour confortable. 8 personnes confortablement. Cheminée, cuisine, deux salles de bain.

Il y a une piscine extérieure hors terre disponible du Memorial Day au Labor Day (la piscine n'est PAS chauffée).

Cozy Weekend Away

I spent a tranquil and restorative weekend in front of the cozy sitting room fireplace. Great house for relaxing, cooking and reading. The house is expertly equipped and incredibly clean. I am excited to come back in the summer to experience the pool and the amazing backyard.

Attended Wedding

The listing photos are accurate. The lush view outside the back is lovely. Can easily imagine how pool weather would make a stay here fun. We were there to attend a wedding and wished there was a full length mirror, and drawer space to unpack.

Lovely stay for a local wedding. Fit 6 adults easily.

In town for a local wedding just 5 minutes down the road. House is well furnished with everything you may need. Beds are very comfortable with plenty of bedding. We had a pair of family members who are accessibility challenged and they had an easy time getting in and out of the downstairs area so they did not need to use stairs. Would highly recommend.

Clean & Peaceful

I can not thank Ileana and Erik enough for the use of their home. We had so much fun with our family. We disconnect from the city (Chicago) living embraced, the peace and quite. Their home was warm, comfortable and full of board games that we enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were their for my daughter Graduation and having a home to come to made the trip enjoyable. I would recommend this home to anyone who wants to really unplug. Thanks Ileana and Erik

Beautiful gardens, flowers and pool.

Wonderful stay in this home. Beautiful flowers on table upon our arrival. Baby gate available to use on stairs, which was a necessity I hadn’t thought of. My grandsons first experience swimming in the pool, and he loved it! Thank you for letting us stay in your home!

Lovely home. We'll be back!

The house was really cozy, and we felt completely at home. They supplied everything we could have needed and more (e.g., provided coffee and tea, assorted spices & condiments, lots of night lights - which were strategically placed throughout the house for safety). The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. Backyard, deck & pool were lovely; it felt very private.The covered porch (with grill) was a really great place to hang out when it rained. Ileana was amazingly fast/responsive to all of our many questions leading up to our stay. She & Erik made sure our 6th Annual Cousins Reunion was a spectacular success. We are hoping/planning to spend #7 there as well! My only suggestion would be perhaps some extra hooks on the downstairs bathroom door and/or in the laundry room for hanging wet towels.

Wonderful weekend

My husband and I spent the weekend at this wonderful house to celebrate my birthday. The house is extremely comfortable, cozy, warm and has everything you need. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to make excellent meals. The rooms are beautiful and well decorated, beds comfortable and smelling sheets carefully stretched and tidy for our comfort. Oh my God and the basement sofas, you can rest like baby! We spent a lot of time in the living room in front of the fireplace taking wine and enjoying every minute. As it was near Christmas the Christmas tree was beautiful in the living room, leaving the house even more cozy. As it was cold we could not enjoy the pool nor the deck. But we used the grill to make a delicious meal. We were very happy this weekend at Ileana's house. I would highly recommend renting this place for sure. We look forward to returning to this house as soon as possible. Ileana is a perfect host, always available for any help. She gave us several tips and made our weekend especial, wonderful and made me very happy! Tks Ileana!!

Very quiet and Cozy get away for my family

Ileana's home felt so much like a home away during our yearly family trip . Its cozy and everything in the house is simple to operate , clean, spacious enough and comfortable. Ileana was always very resourceful and communicative and let us enjoy the home undisturbed with family while making sure we were ok. Over all it was a grand time and we all felt very appreciative and happy about our stay in the house and around that location (close to many of the Hudson Valley attractions) and the beautiful winter snow. There was plenty of wood to enjoy nice a nice fireplace making the house even more attractive and creating that special ambiance which we all loved and enjoyed every minute of. The rooms are comfortable too, The kitchen had all we needed and more. I even got inspired to buy me a kind of pan I saw there!. The house was heated just right!. The instructions getting in and getting out were simple, few and to the point. I will definitely recommend Ileana's home if you want a get away in a quiet and tranquil vicinity of the Hudson with loved ones.

My family and I stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. The owner was very communicative before/during/after our stay, making sure all went smoothly. The house itself is represented well in the pictures. Clean, spacious, country style home.

Such a beautiful and peaceful home. Our family enjoyed every minute.

My niece said the yards reminded her of the secret garden. That first impression was only enhanced more as we slept well, enjoyed the pool, and the beauty and serene surroundings. I would recommend this home to others. The renters' were extremely hospitable and helpful.

Wonderful weekend retreat!

Don't hesitate to book this wonderful house! This home is welcoming and hooks you up from the moment you enter it. It is beautifully decorated and fully equipment to accommodate up to 8 people. It was 4 of us, each in our room with extremely comfortable, warm beds. We spend most of our time in the cozy living room, by the fire, just enjoying some time away from the big, busy city. We could have just spent the weekend in the house (kitchen is fully equipped with a fully stocked supermarket nearby) but we decided to explore one of the nearby hiking routes. It was beautiful! There is more to do nearby the house (there are some brochures available for you) and we are looking forward to returning in the summer do do more and enjoy the pool and wonderful deck! Ileana is a great host! She is considerate, detailed oriented, and although she is not at the house while it is rented, she makes sure everything is prepped and ready for you to have a lovely experience in her home. Don't miss out!

Great Weekend Getaway!

My husband and I spent a long weekend here and loved it! The house is extremely comfortable and would be great for a family holiday. We explored some of the small towns nearby and did some antiquing, toured a craft distillery, some art galleries and museums, and found some wonderful little restaurants with great food and attentive service. We definitely plan to return to enjoy more of the outdoor activities in the area and to take advantage of local wineries. The owner was very responsive to questions and provided a number of amenities to make our stay enjoyable. I would highly recommend this home to friends looking to explore the Hudson Valley.

Perfect getaway

My family and I stayed at this lovely country home at the end of the summer, it was the perfect getaway for our family of four before my eldest started college. Everything about this home leads to peace and relaxation starting with its charming exterior as you pull in the driveway. The kitchen is well stocked for both indoor and outdoor cooking and the deck is a lovely place to have dinner. We loved the pool and spent most of our afternoons and evenings cooling off there. If you're looking for adventures, there are several things to do within in driving distance, don't miss the hike at Stone Church, its truly breathtaking. Also within driving distance is Beacon, NY with a great art museum and quaint main street with lots of dining options, as well as several local restaurants and shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to make a reservation for next summer!

For the first time on October 1, Erik, my friend, Mary, and I took one of the three hikes (1.5 miles round-trip) in Stone Church; it was indeed breathtaking! I have not been to Beacon, NY to the art museum, so you and your family did more sightseeing on your week away than I have done on my regular getaway weekends from NYC. ; ) I recently dined at Seravan in Amenia, NY (farm-to-table concept) --delicious! Thank you for returning for Presidents' Weekend and your upcoming return in August 2017.

Clean, very quiet area and relaxing, spacious and very comfortable

This is a lovely house that is the perfect headquarters for the many beautiful sites in the mid-Hudson Valley. We were a multigenerational family of 7, and this house is spacious enough to provide each of us privacy as well as common areas to comfortably allow for meals and together time. The pool was an added bonus for everyone, especially my grandkids. The grounds are beautiful,quiet and well maintained. The house is well supplied with kitchen utensils and pans, as well as linens and towels.Wonderful deck area with great grill too. The owners met us the day we arrived and were very helpful in providing tips for grocery shopping, train service and house maintenance.We all had a terridic stay and I recommend it highly to anyone visiting the area.

Peaceful Home in Dover

I needed to get out of the hussel and bussel of NYC for a quick getaway and I got what I needed. A most peaceful envioronment with the security of a beautiful, clean, cozy home. The drive was approximately 90 minutes with no traffic. Nice scenic drive . Arrived at my destination and thought I entered an enchanted forest. The pool sits on a nice deck with comfortable lounge chairs and nice patio dining area. Everything is CLEAN...CLEAN ... CLEAN... The sun shines and you're surrounded by mother nature in all her glory. The house is also very beautiful. It is comfortable to lounge and relax and enjoy the peaceful envioronment. Nice romantic feeling in the living room with the fireplace. Sleeping accommodations extremely comfortable. Kitchen area is spacious and modern and a very desireable area to cook your meals. Oven , stove and dishwasher also clean and immaculate. Laundry facilities downstairs to accommodate cleaning needs also modern and clean. The garden area was in full bloom and took my breath away. Ahhh such a wonderful lil getaway.

Francesca, Thank you for the beautiful review. In June, July, & August the garden is continuously blooming. The weekend of your stay --the garden was at its peak. I am glad our home, accommodations, and amenities allowed for a restful stay. Erik, our families, and I use the house often and we do a lot of cooking so our kitchen is well-stocked , including a number of kitchen gadgets, which I love. The rooms have all new bed linen and extra blankets in the closets (on the beds during winter months). The goal is for our guests to sleep well and soundly. A fun weekend with friends

This clean and welcoming home is highly recommended! It is a quick drive from NYC (only an hour and a half). The pool is clean and refreshing on a hot summer's day. The sun shines on the pool and deck from about 11 am- 7 pm, which is great for laying out, swimming and having a BBQ with the awesome new grill! The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials and more. You just need to provide the food and drinks (smile). The rooms are cozy and comfortable for a great sleep. Whether you are looking for a fun time with friends or just some R&R, this is the perfect getaway home.

Perfect house, perfect week-end!

We were 4 French couples spending Independence Day week-end at Ileana's home. Everything about the property exceeded our expectations. The house was very cozy and clean, the living room and bedrooms spacious and comfortable, the kitchen very well equipped! We also had a lot of fun in the backyard and swimming pool (the swimming pool is very big, much bigger than it looks on the pictures). Ileana checked us in and made us feel instantaneously at home! Great quick weekend jaunt

Six of us spent the long weekend at the house and had a great relaxing time, close but far enough from the city. It is spacious and very clean. We spent the weekend cooking, playing games and watching football. The tv room in the finished basement was a great hang out spot. The kitchen is well stocked to make anything from moose stew to French toast. The beds were comfortable to sleep on and we had plenty of seating to hang out without being on top of each other. The house is close to a Hannaford and a great local BBQ spot. We would totally come back in the summer to try out the pool and local hiking trails. This time, it was just to hang out and get away from the city, only an hour and half drive away.

Peaceful

This home was an amazing place to spend New Year's Eve! The house is cozy and had been lovingly decorated, impeccably clean and well stocked. It has a great kitchen with all the needed cooking utensils. We enjoyed our stay very much.

A Home Away from Home

This very cozy country nook is only an hour 1/2 from NYC and a home away from home but with a lot more space!! It has 4 bedrooms, 2 baths all beautifully decorated - understated but classic. I stayed there with my family (husband and 2 boys) and felt the stresses of living in the city just melt away. The backyard is also very spacious - my kids easily played a robust game of flag football. I hope to return to take in some skiing as I believe there are 2 lodges nearby. We stayed there during the fall/winter months so we didn't get to try out the inviting swimming pool but we plan to return in the summer to take full advantage. A wonderful getaway treat that I highly recommend. So go an treat yourself!!
