Wonderful Stay

Had a great week at Maribel’s villa! Lovely, clean and well equipped home from home. Great location, a short walk to the centre of Calan Porter. Pool was bigger than it seemed in the photos and was lovely and warm each day. Maribel was a super host with great communication throughout. Would definitely return!

Just returned from 2 weeks in this excellent villa.Super outside space and everything we needed inside.Great hosts who communicated well and were always available if anything was needed ( which it wasnt). Would definitely recommend and hopefully return someday

Amazing stay

The property itself was in a perfect position, a short walk into town and shops but of the main road so it was lovely and quiet. The Villa was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you need for your holiday. The arrival process was really easy and Maribel is absolutely lovely and so helpful. Thank you so much for a great holiday.

Excellent!!!

From arrival to leaving our hosts did everything to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The accommodation had everything we could possibly need and the outside amenities kept us occupied for most of our stay. If we return to the pretty village of Cala en Porter we would have no choice but to return to this lovely villa

Clean, well equipped, and great location

We had a fantastic stay a Villa Nelson. Maribel is a superb host who went over and above to ensure we enjoyed our stay in her well appointed lovely villa. The resort of Cala en Porter had a nice feel to it with plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. The clean, well sized pool and air conditioning in the villa provided a much needed break from the hot sun (+36 degrees during our stay) and many hours were spent enjoying games of table tennis and billiards. The whole family had a fun, relaxing time, we would definitely return.

Just perfect!

We are a family of 4 with children aged 10 and 8. This villa is simply perfect, well equipped, clean and furnished to a high standard. The beds are incredibly comfortable and all bedrooms are air conditioned. Villa Nelson is a short walk from the centre of Cala’n Porter with many family friendly restaurants and children’s play areas.

Perfect stay in Menorca

We searched for nice villa with pool to relax (as we don't go to the beaches that often) and Alaior is such a lovely little village with enjoyable nightlife. All can be reached well from the villa and the house itself was as described - perfect with the washmaschine for longer stays and the pool was awesome refreshing. There was even a box with left floaties from former visitors. So all in all it was the perfect stay for us (2 couples and a 4 year old child). We can just recommend this house, it was absolutely brilliant.

Amazing stay, amazing host. Home away from home with the sun :)

This villa really is the way forward, just got back and booked to go again next year, it was that good. Maribel and her husband were the perfect hosts, so friendly and knowledgable about the area and where to go for beach and restaurants etc. Honestly the villa is like a home away from home, everything you could need and more. Pool and outside area is amazing and clean. The pool got cleaned when we were there also. No sunbed wars at all, as private and the pool table and table tennis, is a lovely touch. There was some inflatables already but we brought some lilos and was perfect for lazing in the pool all day. Supermarkets, restaurants and beach in walking distance, so is perfect. We hired a car from Binicars, so we could explore the island, I recommend them. We did two evening bbq’s, the villa is in a quiet residential street, which is perfect and so private as the walls are high. Inside the villa is perfect, everything you need, beach towels, bath towels, all utensils etc and more. Best holiday and so relaxing. I would highly recommend this villa. Cannot wait to come back. C’était parfait! La maison est très bien située dans une rue calme et jolie, à 5 minutes des commerces et 10 minutes de la plage de Cala’n Porter. Nous avons été très chaleureusement accueillis par Maribel.L’équipement est correct pour 5 adultes et la piscine très agréable.

Villa juste parfaite !

Avec 3 enfants de 6, 12, et 14 il y a tout pour passer des vacances formidables, billard, piscine, table-tennis. La villa en elle-même est très fonctionnelle, bien équipée et bien agencée et possède deux salles de bains. La propriétaire est disponible. Bref.. nous sommes revenus enchantés ! Merci !

Une île et ses habitants formidable

Très bon séjour sous tous les rapports. Très bon accueil. Des propriétaires très sympa et très agréables. Une villa très bien située et bien équipée. Wunderbarer und unkomplizierter Aufenthalt

Alles wurde wie in der Beschreibung vorgefunden, der Pool war einmalig und extrem sauber. Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause! Drei Schlafzimmer mit je 2 Betten, zwei vollständige Bäder sowie einen Küche mit allem ist für Familien sehr vorteilhaft. Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieterin war exellent!

Nice Villa & hosts

Maribel was waiting for us when we arrived, and showed us round the Villa. It was very clean and comfortable. Everything you would need while away was catered for. Maribel was contactable throughout our stay as we had a slight problem with a thunder storm affecting the electrics in the area. This was dealt with pretty quickly it was just a matter of flicking a switch which Maribel did. Overall it was a good holiday, and we would not hesitate to book again in the future.

Ideal y tranquilo

Lugar bien ubicado, cerca de Mahón pero con la tranquilidad de ciudad pequeña. Localizado en urbanización muy tranquila. Casa muy acogedora y cómoda, aire acondicionado en todas las habitaciones. Perfecto para veranear!!!

Great, well equipped villa perfect for a family holiday

We had a very enjoyable family holiday at Villa Nelson. We had a lovely welcome from Maribel was is very friendly and helpful, giving advice on the local area. The villa is exactly as described and is extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The beds are comfortable and air con works very well. The outside space is great and not overlooked at all. We arrived to the villa being spotlessly clean. Having beach towels provided was a bonus too, less to pack! The villa is only 5-10 mins walk from the local bars and restaurants. We wouldn't hesitate to recommended this villa to friends and family.

Superb Villa

Family of 3 stayed in Villa Nelson for 8 nights and we were not disappointed. Maribel is an excellent host, warm and welcoming and was very helpful with advice about where to eat and places to visit. Villa was spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything needed for our stay. First time visiting Menorca and definitely not our last as we will be coming back as the villa and area were suited to our needs. Beach about a 15 minute walk away that is clean and water warm enough to swim in (May) with a snack bar and shop next door. We had a car to visit places and parking was right next to the villa. Cannot fault anything. We had a fabulous time. We enjoyed eating at Samoa and 500 pizzeria which was a 10 minute walk away. Thank you again Maribel x R, I & M

Fantastic villa

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Maribel’s villa. Maribel was so helpful and accomodating with both check-in (early) & check-out (as late as she could provide us before the next booking arrived as well as organising a taxi). The villa is very clean and as detailed. Our children (6 & 8) loved the table tennis and pool table and of course the pool. The pool was lovely with plenty of pool toys provided. Wifi worked perfectly (important as we needed to do some work). Easy 5-10 minute walk to restaurants and supermarkets. Fantastic gelateria, Don Gelato (which also serves excellent pizzas) just as you arrive at town and Casa Tia tapas was our favourite for dinner. 10 minute walk to a pretty beach. Easy bus trip to Mahon for a day out. All in all, a very relaxing and easy week at this villa and would highly recommend.
