Great stay in a beautiful setting

As soon as I read about Alberobello & the Trulli , I knew I wanted to stay in one . We had a great week except for the cool weather , which no one can control. The pool was so beautiful to look at even though it was too chilly. We enjoyed sitting outdoors in the beautiful country setting . We were welcomed by Vito & he explained everything about the Trulli .He left us a beautiful welcome basket with Focaccia & wine & Italian biscuits. We enjoyed it after our long trip from Venice . The Trulli was great & we could easily take day trips to surrounding towns . We did an electric bike tour through the countryside of Alberobello, visiting a donkey farm & flour mill . We did a day trips to Matera & a horseback riding tour on the coast . I even got to visit my Grandparents hometown in Gruma Apulla . Vito was a great host & was quick to respond to questions , he even brought us extra blankets when the weather turned cool . If you are planning to visit this region of Italy this Trulli would be an excellent choice !

Schönes Refugium

Charmanter Trulli mit schöner grĂŒner Außenanlage, Grill, Pool, und nagelneuer Tischtennisplatte. Innen sehr gute KĂŒchenausstattung, sehr sauber, ein Schlafzimmer etwas kleiner, im August auch mal warm, Ventilatoren vorhanden (keine Aircon). Vito & Co sind tolle Gastgeber, danke fĂŒr das nette Willkommenspaket, sie haben uns viele gute Tipps zu Restaurants und anderem gegeben. Grazie mille! Sandra, Jan und Claus

What a beautiful place! We especially enjoyed walks around the “neighborhood” & the pool

It’s beautiful inside & out. Vito was great & very attentive. The welcome basket was a very nice touch. The pool was quite chilly but it is October after all. Beds, linens, towels - all very nice. Very quiet yet close to town. We would definitely stay here again.

alles top. Wenn nicht in der Beschreibung von drei Schlafzimmern die Rede ist, dann aber erstmal nur zwei gemietet sein sollten und das dritte dazugebucht werden muss. Schade. Trotzdem sicher wieder unsere erste Wahl in Apulien.

Great Experience

We booked a 1 week stay in this amazing property made of trulli and a great surrounding garden area with an outdoor pool. The atmosphere is great as you're surrounded by the olive trees and the calm breeze that always blows in the Valle d'Itria area. The interior is very well kept, with attention to details and all the comfort you can imagine, and more. Vito is very friendly and helps with requests aside from being attentive and quick in responding to any issues. Overall a great experience, will likely return.

VACANZA DA FAVOLA!

Dal ingresso si respira un’aria fresca, accoglienza eccellente, giardino bello, casa pulita, tutto ù pensato al minimo dettaglio, c’ù tutto , la piscina per rilassarsi bevendo un aperitivo. Posizione della casa perfetta consente di raggiungere qualsiasi città e spiaggia in tempi eccezionali. I proprietari danno un ottimo benvenuto con dei vini e prodotti locali. La consiglierei a qualsiasi coppia o famiglia. Da tornarci assolutamente !!!

Semplicemente perfertto

Che dire... Trovare anche un solo difetto per questo posto magico Ăš impossibile. Il trullo Ăš bellissimo, pulito e arredato con cura estrema, con grande gusto. Gli esterni sono ampi e la campagna silenziosa, pur restando a 5 minuti dal centro in auto. La zona piscina Ăš ampia e magica, la piscina grande. Dentro c'Ăš tutto quello che ti puĂČ servire, per ogni evenienza. Il proprietario Ăš gentile e disponibile, ci ha dato indicazioni per qualsiasi cosa. Insomma, meglio di cosĂŹ penso sia impossibile.

Trullo Cielo Cielo - truly wonderful!

We had a wonderful week in Trullo Cielo Cielo. Our party was 2 couples. Communication with Guilliano and Vito was very easy and they gave us a wonderful welcome. Great welcome pack! Nothing was too much trouble. The house is beautiful - the kitchen very well equipped and the bathrooms lovely and modern. Can't tell you much about the lounge and TV as we never sat inside! The pool is a lovely area with comfortable sunbeds and a bit of a breeze which was nice. Towels for the pool were provided. Not sure where the jacuzzi is though ?? We used the bbq twice and would have loved to use the new wood burning oven which they have just installed but it hadn't yet been commissioned - next time maybe? The terrace area was also well furnished with table and chairs and relaxing garden furniture too. Long lunches and evenings on the terrace were just perfect. The walk into town was probably about 25 minutes (10 minutes by bike). We only walked in at lunchtime. Ping pong table was a great addition - maybe a new bat required Vito! As it was our anniversary we made use of the private chef Katja. She served a wonderful 5 course dinner for us and would highly recommend taking up the option at least once during your stay. Thoroughly enjoyed our week and would highly recommend this property.

Perfekter Aufenthalt

Wir sind eine deutsche Familie mit drei Kindern (4, 8, 10). Wir suchten eine Unterkunft in der wir Erwachsene einen Platz finden um auszuspannen und in der unsere Kinder einen abgeschlossenen Garten mit Pool haben in dem sie sich austoben können. Wir wollten uns keine großen Gedanken machen mĂŒssen, dass Andere gestört werden könnten. Wir verbringen normalerweise den Tag am Meer oder mit AusflĂŒgen. Ein Kindererlebnispark war von uns aber nicht gewĂŒnscht. Das war jetzt das sechste Ferienhaus mit Ă€hnlicher Ausstattung in vier LĂ€ndern in dem wir zwei Wochen am StĂŒck verbracht haben. Es war großartig. In keinem der HĂ€user in denen wir bis jetzt gewesen sind mussten wir uns so wenig Gedanken ĂŒber die Abwicklung und die FormalitĂ€ten machen. Es begann damit, dass wir am Anreisetag schon zwei Stunden vor dem eigentlichen Termin das Haus beziehen konnten (sehr praktisch mit drei Kindern nach zwölf Stunden Fahrt). Vito der Inhaber hat uns sehr herzlich empfangen und uns ganz formlos alles erklĂ€rt und das Haus ĂŒbergeben. Zum herzlichen Empfang gab es noch ein Starterpaket aus Wein, Brot, Kuchen, Obst und Wasser. Vito haben wir danach bis zum Abreisetag nicht mehr gesehen. Er war aber per WhatsApp immer erreichbar und half uns sogar noch als Reiseleiter mit SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten und StrĂ€nden. (Vito noch einmal vielen Dank dafĂŒr!) Zweimal in der Woche kĂŒmmerte sich Katja um den Pool und die Sauberkeit. Auch sie machte einen super Job. Das Trullo ist super eingerichtet und mit vielen liebevollen Details ausgestattet. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, dass die Ausstattung durch die zurĂŒckgelassenen GegenstĂ€nde der Vormieter ergĂ€nzt wurde. Auch jedes Fenster mit Fliegengitter und ein Raid-Stecker in jedem Zimmer. Schlafen bei offenem Fenster – kein Problem. Ja, eigentlich ist es ein Doppelhaus und im angrenzenden Trullo finden gerade Sanierungsarbeiten statt. Uns hat es nicht gestört. Vito, vielen Dank, dass wir bei dir zu Gast sein durften. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen – das Abschiedsgeschenk war das TĂŒpfelchen auf dem I. Mach weiter so!

A not quite perfect stay

Booking, and initial communication with Giuliano, was good, and ongoing contact with Vito, who provided lots of local recommendations, was excellent. We were met by Vito nearby and escorted to the Trullo. A lovely welcome pack was waiting for us on arrival. The trullo itself is 5 star. Beautifully restored, well fitted, lovely pool and lounger area, and expansive tree filled grounds. It is in a fairly rural setting, a nice 25 minute stroll to the centre of town, although very dark for the last part coming back at night so a torch is advisable. It is well stocked with everything you would need for your stay. A BBQ, and bikes were available. We couldn't locate the DVD player though, but that wasn't major. As we were celebrating our wedding anniversary a private chef, Katia, was arranged for us. We were treated to a lovely 5 course meal at the trullo that was plentiful (too much food), and delicious. The reason that this review is not 5 star is due to the renovation work taking place right next door. We were not advised about this before our arrival. On the Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, work began at around 7am, and finished at almost 5pm. 10 hours of banging and cutting. We managed to plan a few trips out on these days. Overall a really lovely place to stay, and we had a great time, but the noise took the edge off a little. .

Pool area is the best

The house/trullo is beautiful. The interior was clean and exactly as shown in photos. The check in was smooth and owners are very attentive. The trullo looked isolated but I found out that half of it belongs to another owner and it’s currently under renovation. A few of the mornings during our stay were noisy with people talking and machinery. The weather was hot and the rooms were suffocating some nights, specially the twin one with only a tiny window so the fans were a bless. For our group of 6 the outdoor dining area and grill were excellent and the pool was a dream. We spent long afternoons and evenings in the pool area. The house sits on a big beautiful land only 10’ drive from Alberobello.

Truly amazing

A beautiful trullo set in wonderful countryside. Very well equipped and perfect accommodation for 4 people. It could house 6 people but 3rd bedroom small and only toilet and basin in adjacent bathroom.We received a great welcome from Vito who met us and led us to the house. A welcome pack including local wines, a big bowl of fresh fruit , water and a homemade tart got the holiday off to a great start. The outside space was fantastic with a fabulous pool and lots of seating areas. The bbq and it’s kitchen were brilliant making it easy to eat at home after a busy day exploring puglia. We really can’t fault this accommodation - it is beautiful inside and out. 4 bikes were also provided but unfortunately the roads had lots of potholes!! Walk into town about 30 mins and we are all fit but easy to park on the edge of town and walk in.

Tolles Haus fĂŒr einen entspannten Urlaub

Wir hatten dank der Fußbodenheizung auch in einem regnerischen und kĂŒhlen FrĂŒhsommer einen tolle Woche in diesem Haus. Sehr gemĂŒtlich und top ausgestattet.

Wonderful!

This is a beautiful trullo set in a lovely location. It's comfortable, very well equipped and well furnished. The external spaces are great with everything you could need. The trullo is an easy 20 minute walk or an even easier 10 minute bike ride from Alberobello and and the 4 bikes provided are excellent. The pool area is really attractive - just be careful of the delicious ripe figs which occasionally fall to earth! The owners are extremely friendly and left us a generous welcome basket of wine, fruit and cakes. Very highly recommended.

A very relaxing week!

The cottage is cozy and very relaxing in rural setting only 2.5km (20min walk) from Alberobella. The pool and garden areas are lovely and quiet overlooking olive groves. The hosts are very generous with wine , fruit and pastries on arrival . The main bedroom and ensuite are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything needed for self-catering . We had a wonderful week !

Wonderful property, great communication, immaculately presented, an ideal quiet getaway destination

We stayed in the property for a week mid' July 2017 and Giuliano's communication before and during our stay was fantastic. The Trullo is immaculately presented, spotlessly clean and has every amenity you could think of. Unlike some properties, the pictures provided are extremely accurate and give a very good idea what you can expect when you arrive, with an electric gate across the private driveway. It is close enough to Alberobello to make it easy to visit and get provisions, restaurants etc. but it is also far enough away from town to really give you that peaceful, restful feeling in this sanctuary of tranquility. The overall cleanliness of the property, pool and surrounding garden is outstanding and the owner is obviously (quite rightly) very proud of the Trullo, even leaving us a bottle of fizz for our anniversary as well as a basket of local produce - outstanding ! The pool is more than large enough to use (as we did) as a sanctuary from the heat of the day and has a jacuzzi facility at one end if you want to relax even further. The BBQ area is very comprehensive and whilst we didn't use it during our stay, it was again immaculately clean with all the implements and facilities you could want - it even has its own basin with running water. We used the outdoor dining area every day, especially in the evenings and for most lunchtimes, as it provides some nice dappled shade during the heat of the day as well as being ideally placed for a more intimate place to have dinner before relaxing on the outdoor sofa seating. The mountain bikes left at the property have their own locks and are in good condition, I am 6ft tall and my wife 5ft tall and we managed to adjust the saddle height on two bikes to easily cover that range. Overall the holiday and experience here was magnificent, made all the better by the owner's welcome when we arrived and also being there when we left reluctantly on our morning of departure. Personal attention is so important and Giuliano has good things just about right. Highly recommended !

Stunning location for an amazing holiday

We spent a week in the trullo last May and It was all we needed to unwind and relax after a long cold British winter. The property is beautifully done and every little detail was absolutely perfect and made our holiday one to remember. We particularly loved the peaceful location and were chuffed by the warm welcome we received from the owners. The Trullo is very spacious and absolutely spotless and the outside space provides everything you need to make the most of the weather. We will definitely go back!

An wonderful holiday

We decided to visit Puglia and looking on the website of ownersdirect the trulli, we happened under the eyes trullo Sky. Just we arrived the place was fantastic, breathtaking gardens and a swimming pool in stone and comfortable with Jacuzzi, surrounded by greenery. Everything was perfect from the large and spacious and decorated with excellent taste in outdoor areas equipped with every comfort. We first had the pleasure of meeting the owners very friendly and helpful that they did find upon arrival a rich wellcome bascket with local products and wines. If you plan to spend an unforgettable holiday, this is the place.

Fantastic

This is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay, the pictures do not do it justice, the place was extremely clean and very well maintained, the customer service was faultless and we were made to feel welcome from the minute we arrived, the trullo is set in an amazing surroundings with easy access to the local mini supermarket, we had restaurants recommended and places to visit, but to be honest we loved the place so much we stayed home a lot, making use of the BBQ and pool and just relaxing... i have no hesitation recommending this place if your looking for somewhere to unwind and recharge, the scenery along with the trullo are incredible, we would definitely stay again as it is amazing.
