Cinq chambres à coucher; trois à l'étage et deux en bas dans une aile séparée, idéal pour deux groupes se réunissant ou une famille voulant beaucoup d'espace. Les chambres et la salle de bain du rez-de-chaussée sont parfaites pour ceux qui préfèrent ne pas utiliser les escaliers. Entièrement rénové pour 2014, nous nous sommes concentrés sur la création d'espaces dont tous les clients peuvent profiter ensemble, et la capture d'une atmosphère côtière détendue. Situé au cœur du village de Manorbier, la propriété dispose d'un grand jardin privé, contenu dans le parc de l'ancien Vicariat. Manorbier, décrit par le Guardian comme "The Perfect Seaside Village", a tout ce dont vous avez besoin: boutique bien garnie, bureau de poste, pub (servant des plats faits maison), salons de thé, château normand et église, 4 plages (dont certaines secrètes) à distance de marche, surf fantastique, piscines de roche, et bien sûr une grande étendue de sable pour ceux qui souhaitent simplement bronzer. Tenby, avec sa célèbre architecture géorgienne, ses belles plages et le plus ancien parcours de golf du Pays de Galles, est à seulement 7 minutes en voiture vers l'est. Un court trajet en voiture à l'ouest, vous trouverez les étangs à lis de Bosherston, Broadhaven et Barafundle ... et bien plus encore.
Nous visons à rendre vos vacances aussi relaxantes que possible. Souhaitez-vous un repas traiteur livré un soir? Que diriez-vous de votre dinde de Noël et de tous les accompagnements prêts dans votre réfrigérateur à votre arrivée? Ou une boîte de légumes biologiques locaux? A comfortable, spacious, well equipped property with a lovely large private garden that perfectly suited us as a group of 6 adults, 2 two-year olds, and a dog. Pub, shop, cafe, Manorbier Castle, and beach are all within easy walking distance, and we found lots more things to see and do within a short drive. Kate is a wonderful, considerate host and went to great lengths to make sure everything was okay and that we were comfortable.

Mews Cottage is a delightful, well-presented cottage with a very pretty, private, spacious garden in a lovely area which has a local shop, good dining in the nearby hostelry and hotel, a beautiful beach, coastal path walks and a castle to visit. Not to mention excursions further afield to many places of interest. The house is clean, well-equipped and there is a generous provision of household necessities such as loo rolls, washing up liquid etc.The hosts, who live next door, are extremely helpful and informative and respond quickly to resolve any problem.Only drawback for families with absconders (either two or four-legged), the garden is not completely enclosed/escape-proof so vigilance is required.Mews Cottage is perfect for those with mobility issues having a downstairs bedroom and shower room.Definitely a Cottage to return to!

We stayed here with our son, daughter, son in law and grand daughter. We all had a brilliant time, the house is warm, comfortable, clean and well equipped, with lots of space for us all. We found it easy to walk from the house to the beach and along the coast path. Manorbier is a pretty village, and the beach is lovely, there's a village shop a couple of minutes walk from the house and a nice friendly pub about five minutes walk away. All in all it was perfect for our family holiday.

Family weekend

We loved the property it was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean, well stocked, perfect for an extended family break altogether. The layout of the house was ideal for us, having so much space and bedrooms on different floors. The location was great being able to walk to the beautiful beach with children of mixed ages and a dog easily. We would love to stay again .

Lovely house in superb location

This is an excellent place to stay. Clean comfortable very well equipped. The house is within walking distance of pub/restaurant; café ; convenience store; beach. Lots of local walks and Tenby very near by car. Could not ask for a better base or more helpful owner. Would recommend to everyone and would not hesitate to book again for a family holiday

Lovely spacious house in super location

Spacious accommodation for a large group even though there were only 5 of us! Very well equipped, lovely garden for dogs (and people) and close proximity to beaches, castles and Tenby for restaurants. Super communication with Kate the owner. Would highly recommend this lovely cottage.

We have lived in the next door Old Vicarage for 18 years, and are so glad we returned to Pembrokeshire after a decade in London. We ran a holiday let in a self contained annexe of our home, The Old Vicarage, until we knocked through and made the most of the south west facing garden. We had many happy guests and wanted to continue letting our new property as a holiday cottage.
We have now had 11 years letting Mews Cottage, and we are delighted with how popular it has been, and how such a high proportion of our guests rebook, many before they leave! We hope that people return year after year and feel it's a home away from home.
We love living in Manorbier, with its rich history, and wonderful beaches. We have brought our children up here, learning how to surf (we can often be seen walking down the road with our surfboards) The thing we love most is being able to walk out of the door and choose 4 beaches within 20 minutes walk, or walk along the coastal path to Tenby before hopping on the bus to come home. The bus stop is at the end of the driveway.
We also really enjoy the Castle Inn pub, with live music most weekends, quiz night on a Sunday, and excellent fresh food. There are several options for eating out, with the hotel, castle and tea rooms all serving food. But best of all, we love sitting in the south west facing garden, watching the sunset. Mews Cottage is next door, with a sheltered private garden, and lovely views.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We have lived next door in The Old Vicarage for 18 years and we were delighted to be able to buy the neighbouring cottage in November 2013. It is wonderful to reunite the two buildings as Mews Cottage used to be the stables for what was the Vicarage, when they were built over 200 years ago. The stone for The Vicarage was quarried in Lydstep, dressed by Caldey monks and then brought to Manorbier. The stables were converted into a cottage in the 1970's. Mews Cottage has a private garden which is surrounded by the Old Vicarage garden and fields owned by the church.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Nearly all of our guests include 3 generations. Mews Cottage is the perfect space to be enjoyed by all ages. The sunny south facing garden and the summer house are ideal for parents to sit in and relax while the children can play. The barbecue is proving very popular, and there's a sense of peace whilst still being so close to all the amenities in the village and of course the beach.
Many guests comment on the refectory table and seating in the dining room. From Christmas dinner, to family meals and poker games, the dining room accommodates 12 comfortably. The kitchen is very well equipped and spacious.
Most of all, the guests say that after a day on the beach or a coastal path walk, they feel at home in Mews Cottage and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere, and peace and quiet.
