Bungalow Dans l'ouest de Cowes Isle Of Wight

La célèbre ville de Cowes est bien connu pour l'un des principaux centres de mondes yaughting. Avec des courses va sur presque tous les week-end de l'été, conduisant à l'événement principal qui est la semaine de Cowes, au début du mois d'août, où ils ont également la course autour de l'île. La course de bateaux à moteur est habituellement la semaine suivante. Des milliers de personnes montent pour la grande course et fête fantastique comme l'atmosphère, ce qui a un feu d'artifice fabuleux pour célébrer le dernier jour de la Semaine de Cowes. Notre bungalow est à seulement dix minutes à pied du cœur des activités, vous offrant deux espaces de stationnement hors de la route et avec la paix et la tranquillité pour dormir et la proximité de la fête. Le bungalow a été rénové à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur et équipées pour rendre une maison confortable de l'expérience à la maison. Avec deux chambres spacieuses pouvant accueillir quatre, ont assez de place pour un lit Voyage qui peut être fourni et beaucoup d'espace de rangement. La cuisine-salon dispose d'un grand coin canapé-lit double avec des draps sur demande. Une grande table à manger extensible avec quatre chaises et deux chaises pliables accueillir confortablement six avec place pour une chaise haute, si nécessaire, encore une fois, cela peut être fournie sur demande. Il ya une télévision avec un lecteur de DVD et haut débit sans fil. La salle de douche a un wc, lavabo et miroir avec un point de rasage. Avec une toute nouvelle cuisine équipée avec tout ce dont vous aurez besoin pour préparer des repas si vous décidez de ne pas goûter certains des restaurants variés dans la ville. Chauffage central gaz de vous garder au chaud en cas de besoin et de l'eau agréable et chaud. Menant hors de la porte de la cuisine est un jardin spacieux et sécurisé, avec un coin salon de jardin et pelouse nouvellement posée, fournir un endroit sûr pour les enfants à jouer tandis que les adultes bénéficient d'un barbecue dans le présent toute la journée piège à soleil.

Basic, but incredibly practical and excellent value for money. Having a garden was a real bonus, and being within walking distance of UKSA made it especially convenient for our sailing stay. Nothing fancy, but it had everything we needed and worked perfectly for us. For Cowes, the price was unbelievably good. We would 200% stay again!

The bungalow was not exactly as described, it was better!The location was central and perfect for travelling around the island. On arrival, it was lovely and clean and Karen, the owner's aunt, lives nearby should you require any help with anything. Although we didn't meet Paul, the owner, in person, we did meet Karen and communication was excellent between us all. As the bungalow is up a little lane, parking could be difficult, but once we'd done it a couple of times, it became a doddle.All in all, we would absolutely recommend the bungalow to everyone and we will certainly be coming back. Thank you Karen, for helping us and thank you Paul for your lovely home.

Wow what a lovely little blue house ! The communication was easy we got in without any problems . We parked on the gravel drive but there is an unmade road outside that is a little bumpy. That is my only negative . This is a well maintained clean comfortable home from home. Beds were comfortable and extra pillows and blankets were supplied in case we needed them. Luckily it was a very hot week and we didn’t need any covers! The kitchen is well equipped and had washing up liquid and sponge and tea towels provided. The added bonus for me was the washing machine … I am not going home with a weeks worth of washing. There was a games cupboard and toys provided if you have little ones . Perfectly placed to explore the island . We loved Osborne house the garlic festival and I will wear my pearl earrings from the pearl place. I would recommend to others and may even return sometime soon. Thank you Paul for the use of the little blue house x

Lovely little bungalow

We had a wonderful & comfortable stay in Cowes.The listing photos do not do the bungalow justice!It is hidden away in a quiet lane within short walking distance of West Cowes. Lovely convenient bungalow

Lovely modernised bungalow very conveniently placed for west Cowes shops and marina and crossing to east Cowes. Comfortable and very clean. Access and parking a bit challenging and outlookdismal. Appreciated immediate help of owner to get the router working. Would recommend and hope to visit again

Great find

This was our second stay at the bungalow for the IOW festival and we have already booked again for next year. Property is just a short stroll from Cowes, and easily accessible for travelling around the island. Such a peaceful place to stay, very clean and everything we needed for a great break - communication and directions from the owner were great - thank you, we look forward to returning next year!

Week away

The property was just perfect for us, tucked away but very closed to the main shops and restaurants. The bungalow was compact but full of anything you could need. The property was very clean and comfortable. Even with a map and sat nav we missed the entrance the road sign is obsured but once you know you know. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Exceptionally well presented accommodation

The bungalow has been renovated to a very high standard, with all the facilities in excellent working order and a great deal of care and attention given to providing everything you need for a holiday rental. The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived and was a joy to stay in. We've rented maybe 20 or more holiday properties over the years and this is right up there as one of the best. Great job!!

Three day break in Cowes town centre

Lovely bungalow. Great position in West Cowes near shops and bus routes. Watch out for fairly narrow driveway to parking spaces. My MG HS just squeezed in. You will need to take loo rolls, and any required cleaning cloths.

Family four night stay Summer 2024

We had a lovely 4 night stay at the bungalow in August. We had everything we needed for the 4 of us (my 3 daughters and me). The beds were extremely comfortable and the bungalow is situated in a very quiet area so we slept very well after long days exploring the island. We walked down to East Cowes town one morning and along the prom before making the hilly walk back to the bungalow. The bungalow is very well equipped and located so as to be not too far from attractions on the island. We visited the Donkey Sanctuary, Ryde, Sandown, The Wight Proms, Ventnor Illuminated procession, Newport and the Garlic Festival during our stay.

The bungalow itself is well decorated and has an excellent kitchen and lots of cupboard space and domestic supplies like hand wash etc and plenty of towels. It is bigger in the living space that the photos indicate and has a pleasant garden via steps. However it was generally dusty on items like lamps and around the beds, with a few dead spiders thrown in and some live ones. It was generally cold as the front door is not sealed and lets in a lot of draft. The thermostat was completely dead and so there was no way to put the heating on in the evening. Biggest shock was the access which was an uphill, narrow, single track unmade road full of ruts and pot holes. You really need a four wheel drive to cope with this. The bungalow is surrounded by large pebbles, and has no proper drive - you have to bump the car over a concrete ridge that runs the entire length of the front with no break in it for access. Reversing in over this from the unmade, narrow road is very difficult in an ordinary hatchback and we were concerned about damaging the car. We felt that the outside access should have been described in the property details or at least photographed to prepare you, especially if you are arriving after dark.

Cowes stay

Lovely place to stay, a bit hard to locate the house as it’s tucks in a narrow alleyway. Which was very difficult to drive through. I drive a 4x4 Range Rover. Had to find alternative parking to avoid my car getting scratched. Very clean, like from home to home. I would not stay again because of the alleyway. If you a small car shouldn’t be a problem for you. Finding alternatives parking wasn’t always available

Bungalow in Cowes

The property is situated along an unadopted narrow track in a quiet part of Cowes. Although relatively clean, some of the furnishing were shabby and need replacing. There was only one toilet roll and we could not find any instructions in using the central heating when the temperature dropped in the evenings. Otherwise, it is a comfortable bungalow with a secluded garden, accessible from the kitchen. The two bedrooms were both clean with good sized modern wardrobes. The TV remote also needs looking at, as it did not seem keen to switch the TV on, sometimes taking a little persuasion to do so.

We are sorry that you were not 100% satisfied with our bungalow. It’s unusual for us to get a less than 5* review. The TV needs turning on manually before using the remote controller. There are two folders in the kitchen/games cupboard that have all instructions for all appliances and the heating. With regards to the toilet roll, the bungalow is self catering and one is left for your use until you get unpacked and settled. We are aware that the sofa is going to need replacing at the end of the holiday season, however due to us being in popular demand we do not have a big enough window of time to change it until then. I can assure you that although it does have a couple of marks on it, it has been steam cleaned and the marks are “clean marks”. Thank you for your time spent in the bungalow and for your review.
