We had a fantastic 5 night stay at Lower Brook cottage. Steve and Sally were very welcoming on our arrival. The cottage is very cosy and surrounded by beautiful countryside. Bath is within easy reach and well worth a visit. The Pig hotel and restaurant is fab and just a mile or so up the road. Thanks for a great stay.

This was a beautiful cottage with excellent facilities. The rural location was stunning but easy access to both Bath and Bristol if you don’t mind driving the narrow lanes. Hosts were wonderful.

A very pleasant stay

Highly recommended if you are looking for a quiet place, very comfy. Fully equipped, wifi, tv, everything you need in a kitchen But also very closed to Bath(15 minutes), and Bristol(30 minutes) We will definitely go back again Sally and Steve are a very nice couple, they have answered all our questions

Pleasant cottage with amazing hosts

We stayed at the Lower Brook Cottage for 3 nights while attending a wedding. Location was good for where we needed to be. Pubs and everything within 15 min drive.

The property was beautiful. It was clean, cozy, well equipped and very pet friendly.The garden is amazing and our dog loved it . Lots of lovely walks. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful . I cooked some nice meals and found everything there that I needed, including a slow cooker. The cottage is tastefully decorated and equipped to a high standard and we felt immediately at home. There is no pub in the village but our hosts directed us to a lovely pub about 25 minutes stroll through some lovely countryside. The villagers are very friendly and welcoming too and all stopped to chat and recommend different places to visit. We can highly recommend this property.

Wonderful cottage, terrific location

We were welcomed in person on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble. The cottage was spotless, well appointed, really comfortable and homely. We had 3 lovely nights here, had great dog walks described to us, which we did. Great local pubs recommended to us, which we went to. We hope Steve and Sally will let us stay again.

England get away

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. A nice spot to relax and enjoy the countryside. Central to scenic visiting spots, getting some groceries or just walking to the local pub. A fantastic property in a lovely area

Had a wonderful stay at Lower Brook Cottage and could not fault the place. The property is beautiful and has everything you need for a short break. The garden is huge and more than room for a dog to exercise and across the road is a huge field with countryside pathways across it and you can genuinely walk for miles. The hosts were excellent and there to see us in and give us the info we needed, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this to dog owners and those without alike as you wouldn't know it was a place where dog owners stay as there's no pet smell or signs of pets. Will definitely stay again should we get the chance and would absolutely recommend without hesitation.

Charming cottage in English countryside

This is an amazing cottage in the middle of very beautiful English countryside, like one would see in the Miss Marple series. It is very thoughtfully furnished and organised - there was everything one would need for a stay - comfortable beds, nice seating area, lots of storage space, all the necessary toiletries in the bathroom and condiments in the kitchen. We had everything we could wish for, even the egg cups were there! We found the house very clean and also very well maintained. There is a nice green lawn behind the house, where we had our breakfast. The surroundings are very peaceful and safe. Lots of possibilities for walking and exploring. The hosts, Sally and Steve are super friendly, welcoming and helpful. We only regret having to leave so soon and not having enough time to enjoy the cottage and the garden more. Thanks a lot for having us, we'd love to be back!

English country living realised.

Both the home and location were everything we had envisioned . Supremely quiet broken only by the clip clop of hooves and the early morning chorus. Steve met us on site and gave us a comprehensive introduction to the 0property. It totally exudes a homely feel that is evident the moment you step across the doormat. Beautifully presented and equipped with everything that you may need for a weeks stay. After each day of exploring, we came " home" to our very own place. Wonderful. I cannot but recommend Steve & Sally's vacation rental to all who aspire to a comfortable country holiday. An unqualified 11 / 10. Thanks guys. You absolutely deserve the kudos.

Gezellige en heel schone cottage, uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor bezoeken aan Bath, Wells en Cheddar. Mooie tuin met diverse zitjes.Steve en Sally zijn heel gastvrij en zeer vriendelijk.Bij aankomst stond er iets lekkers voor bij de thee/koffie.Dit adres is echt een aanrader!

das cottage war sehr angenehm, sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber freundlich und hilfsbereit.gute Gegend um Bath, Bristol und Wells und noch einige andere Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen. Viele Wandermöglichkeiten.
