A fantastic window to life in Porto. From your window you can hear the street musicians and watch the boats on the river. Great spot close to everything!

What an amazing place. A true gem!! The views were spectacular and the location was ideal as a launchpad for adventures into Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. The host was exceptionally communicative and helpful with planning our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or location. We had such a wonderful time!

The location of the property is right in the historic district of the city and rigth beside the Douro River. The property was very spacious and all the amenities that we needed. The view out of the living area window was very nice and you could easily hear some of the evening entertainment. Very good location but a bit of a climb to the city centre. Lots of restaurants and shops just steps away. Would highly recommend. The host was very kind and even came to pick us up from the train station.

Locals helped us find this apartment. Once there, we enjoyed an amazing view across the Douro River towards Gaia. Olga kindly helped with orientation to the apartment. Good ambiance. Close to Ribeiria action and the Dom Luiz bridge. 3rd floor is a consideration for those with any mobility concerns.

Fernando, our host was courteous, helpful, and had great recommendations for things to do and places to visit in the city.We wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. Absolutely a wonderful place to stay. Great area. I loved the view. Walking across the bridge to Gaia was lovely. Because of all the hills and stairs in Porto, this condo is perfect to be right on the water as there’s lots of markets and restaurants. You can avoid the climbs for a bite to eat. I would 100% absolutely stay here again. Communication was 10/10! This was the first time in my experience the owner of a unit came and showed us the place. It was a nice personal experience. Thank you for everything! We loved Porto so much!

Charming apartment with everything you need, lovely views, and excellent location. Cool A/C in the bedrooms—needed during summer heat waves. One worry you may have is that the place is right above a busy promenade along the river where people eat, drink, and sing until very late. But we found the bedrooms in back very quiet — no problem with the noise at all.

Fernando has a wealth of information to share to make your visit a memorable one. His knowledge of wines and recommendations are vast. We really enjoyed the apartment & especially the view when the windows are open. The property was clean & we received a clean set of towels when we requested them. We appreciated all the information that was shared & highly recommend staying here.

the location can not be beat for exploring the riverside historic area by foot. the views of the river and the action down on the malecon provide never ending entertainment. the night views are quite romantic as you enjoy the port you bought directly from the one of 17 cellars straight across the river. the apartment is well equipped. we stayed during a heat wave and just the bedrooms have ac - thank goodness. you can open the front 2 windows to get some breeze off the river but if the breeze is not blowing it gets warm. a couple of floor fans would be a welcome addition as Europe heats up.

The view from the front windows was absolutely incredible! The location of the apartment was near lots of restaurants, shops and activities. Our host was always available and very informative about the area...thank you for the welcoming gifts!
