Retraite de montagne confortable près des sites olympiques et Whiteface Mountain

Une chambre avec lit queen, une salle de bain et douche, entièrement équipée manger dans la cuisine, salon avec canapé-lit queen size et cuisinière à gaz Vermont Casting, buanderie avec lave-linge / sèche-linge. Nous avons également un lit de jumelage commercial disponible.
L'appartement a été entièrement rénové en 2016. Il y a une télévision à écran plat dans le salon et dans la chambre avec le câble, WiFi. Il y a aussi un foyer extérieur et un barbecue pour votre détente et votre plaisir.

Ce confortable appartement de 4 chambres, 1 salle de bain est situé dans un cadre boisé privé, à seulement 3 miles du centre-ville de Lake Placid, 1 1/2 miles des tremplins olympiques, 5 miles du mont. Van Hoevenberg, à 8 miles de Whiteface Mountain, et à quelques minutes du Jack Rabbit Trail.
L'appartement est très bien entretenu. Il est au rez-de-chaussée de notre maison avec sa propre entrée et un parking facile dans la rue.
L'entrée mène à une salle de blanchisserie / ski qui accueille skis, bâtons, bottes et vêtements.

We had a lovely stay! The apartment is very clean and attractive. The bed is very comfortable, as is the living room, complete with a wonderful gas stove. Perfect Weekend Getaway

This was my second time staying at Deerwood Haus and everything was just as perfect as it was the first time. The location is great and the apartment is extremely clean. The hosts were really kind both before and during the stay. There was a huge attention to detail, both in the decor of the home and the way it has been maintained. There was a fridge and pantry and bathroom full of items for when we arrived, and the cleanliness of the property was impeccable. Lovely location as well, couldn’t recommend enough !

We are both retired educators. Robert was the High School/Middle School Principal here in Lake Placid and Cheryl was an elementary teacher also in Lake Placid. In retirement we decided to remodel an apartment which is on the ground level of our home as a vacation rental for guests to enjoy the same beauty and activities of this wonderful town and mountains which we have enjoyed since 1988.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

We love this property as it is nestled in the woods, only 1 1/2 miles from NY RTE. 73. It gives us the quiet we want with all the activities we could possibly desire within only a few minutes from our door. Robert loves to ski so with Whiteface Mountain about 7 miles away he can jump in the car and be there within 15 minutes. I enjoy the cross country skiing more so our house is located in the perfect spot. There are several "free" cross country trails within 10 minutes from our door. Also Mt. Van Hoevenberg is only 5 miles down the road. Living in this Olympic Town gives us the opportunity to volunteer at many of the special events (including World Cup) which take place throughout the year.
When we want to go to a store or out to eat, it's only a 10 minute drive. Our home is only minutes from the route where the running portion of the Ironman takes place in July. We just walk to the end of our road (about 2 min.) and cheer for the Ironmen and Women. It is quite thrilling to watch the athletes complete the final portion of the race.

We have enjoyed improving and maintaining our home over the years we have lived here. We enjoy our gardens. They seem to expand each year, attracting many varieties of birds and wildlife. After an active day we often enjoy sitting around the fire pit roasting marshmallows and sipping our wine. It's our little piece of paradise.
