Que vous soyez à la recherche de détente et de calme ou d'une escapade romantique, c'est l'endroit idéal. Il est entiÚrement meublé avec des antiquités et des tapis orientaux. C'est à la fin d'une route privée à cÎté d'un petit bois, donc c'est trÚs privé. Il y a aussi un bon accÚs à une belle plage qui se trouve à quelques minutes à pied. Si vous préférez ne pas rester, il y a beaucoup à faire dans la région. Sentiers de randonnée, vignobles, magasins et bien plus encore.

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nestled in the woods, but very close to the lake. It was a cozy stay for a romantic getaway.

This adorable cottage is set up with everything you need and the peaceful wooded and Lake Erie access is perfect. I would recommend this place.

We have stayed with Dale and his family a number of times now. Their properties are great and they are wonderful hosts. We love the Westfield area in the fall.

Nice location! Somehow I timed the perfect weather for this getaway. We felt completely safe and comfortable. We totally appreciated that we could bring our dog, as he loved the beach area. Great time! Such a hidden gem!! Don’t forget to stop in at the lighthouse that’s going under renovation down the road!!

Just a wonderful house. Perfect location for our time on the lake. Mid distance to wineries in PA and NY. The path to the lake was super easy to follow, there were even chairs to use down on the beach and they had towels or blankets at the house that we could use as well. The owners were always quick to respond to questions.

A delightful cottage on Lake Erie

Overall our stay was very comfortable. It was myself my husband and our dog. The reservation process was mostly easy. However VRBO made it a little confusing for me when i tried to change the dayes of our reservation. Dale was very responsive and helpful throughout. The location was not what i thought i was getting. I had searched for Chataqua Lake. We were actually in Westfield. An almot 2 hour drive from Chataqua Lake. So we made the best of it. Westfield didnt offer much to do so we read a few books and took up on Lake Eries beach which was a short walk from the cottage. We also stopped in Bemus Point and the Lucy and Dezi museum. The cottage was adorable and and had a beach theme, a window ac, washer dryer and all the amenities of home including a propane gas grill.The hosts were wonderful.

Peaceful, beautiful!

This was our second stay at Beeches. After experiencing an unexpected loss of a family member; this was a perfect place to "regroup" and look at the bright side. The surroundings and complete presence of nature tend to have a calming effect! The cottage is clean, comfortable with a great collection of books to read. Friendly people and safe beautiful area of vineyards and Lake Erie with its renown sunsets. Great restaurants in the area -but we stayed at the cottage and grilled on the Weber grill provided. If you travel with your pet, you've found the perfect place - very pet friendly. You can't go wrong with Beeches!

Memorable and peaceful weekend retreat!

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with our stay this past weekend! It was literally everything we wanted and more. Extremely clean, cozy, relaxing and supplied with everything we could need! The personal touches, high end furnishings, personality, and care put into the home made it feel like we were staying in a friend's beachhouse and not a rental at all! We absolutely loved the proximity to the beach and the gorgeous trees outside the huge windows where you can hear the waves. Its also 5 min from the cutest town to explore with everything you could possibly want from restaurants, wineries, hiking etc. We were not bored!! Will most definitely be coming back when its warm enough to really enjoy the lake!!! Thank you for having us Dale!

Fall getaway

We had a beautiful couple days. Cottage was very nice. Had everything you might need. A short walk to the beach-lakeshore. Grapes were being harvested. We were able to pick some at one of the vineyards.

Magical cabin

This was the most awesome place to walk to the lake and enjoy the views , Dale was very nice and we got to see her new sweet pups . Great place !

Fantastic Getaway!

We had such a lovely stay at the cottage. Per other reviews, it’s not quite as secluded as we thought from the pictures but was more secluded than being in a normal residential neighborhood for sure. One thing to note, to get down to the lake and back up , you must be able to climb a fair amount of stairs or trek a rather steep incline. Definitely doable but if you have mobility issues, better to know ahead than be disappointed. From the listing we thought the lake was much closer than it was but it’s only a few minutes walk away. Neighbor house butts right up to the cottage but no issues with noise or anything other than someone using a tractor or riding mower at 6:30 am one day. Fantastic central location for day trips (we spent one day at Presque Isle SP) or just exploring the lake and creek nearby. We thought we would have more issues without a stove but they had so many other options to cook we didn’t even miss it and now I need to buy an electric skillet cause that one was great. The cottage can definitely sleep more than 2 with the couch or an air mattress but I think 2 is the max sadly. We will be looking to rent again and hopefully get the other cottage as well so we can stay with friends & family.

Perfect cottage, but

The cottage was simply adorable. Did not like neighbors right in our back yard. Dogs ran free throughout the neighborhood, while our dog had to be restrained. Beach access was like climbing Mt. Everest. Steps were extremely steep. Beach area was full of garbage. We were under the impression that we had a fire pit, but when we arrived, the fire pit was a community fire pit away from the cottage. Signage in and out was poor. We finally had to stop and ask.

Very clean and close to beach!

Everything was great! Only complaint is neighbor's two large, off-leash dogs wildly and frequently running through the property and defecating on the lawn. If potential guest, or potential guest's pets, are afraid of large, out of control dogs, may need to reconsider.

My husband and I have lived here for over 35 years but have both been coming to this area since we were young kids. We have 6 children, our youngest being 16 and 2 grandchildren. We also have 2 Golden Retrievers who love to visit the neighbors so you will surely see them. Life is pretty busy with work and such but our favorite place to be is home and at the beach.

Our cottage truly feels like you are in another world. Its so peaceful and relaxing. Its nice and close to the beach as well.
