Relaxing stay

We found this property to be spotlessly clean. Great views and lovely outside seating area. A great place to relax and do nothing but read books, look at the stars or sit outside with a glass of something. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful views, warm welcome!

Lovely stay in this little apartment with a beautiful view over countryside - perfect for a couple. Great location for exploring the New Forest and Carole the owner was very warm and welcoming. Can’t fault it.

Peaceful Retreat

We had a lovely short stay and thoroughly enjoyed being in the countryside. Especially getting some veg from the garden. Carol was very attentive and accommodating to our needs and insisted we relax. Great stay.

Relaxing and comfortable stay

Lovely accommodation in a tranquil and pretty location. First class attention to detail and facilities. Very well equiped and comfortable. Owner was welcoming and warm. Would definitely return.

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in. Everything we needed was provided and Carol made sure that we had everything. The property is so peaceful and a good centre for exploring the New Forest, Stonehenge, Salisbury & Wimborne Minster. Thank you Carol

The place was amazing. Everything necessary was provided. Carol was always attentive (even though she was on a break at the time we visited) but Christine was around if you needed anything. I would definitely stay here again. Good base for New forest, Salisbury and coast. Look forward to our next visit

Short Break

The property has everything you need. It is very quiet once the crows settle down for the night which was interesting to watch from the balcony. The fresh eggs and milk were appreciated. The roads to the village are narrow which is expected in a small secluded place. We had a lovely stay and will stay again if revisiting the area.

relaxing stay

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing stay. This is the place for it! We had horses nearby along with a lovely view of the New Forest. The host was very helpful and welcoming. We enjoyed the eggs from the lively hens. We want to go back when there there are more daylight hours so we can explore the Forest more.. The apartment is very comfortable, with a very well-equipped kitchen.

Very nice quiet apartment with views over the countryside

Enjoyed a lovely few days in this apartment. It had everything we needed. It was quiet, which is really important for us. The semi rural location suited us perfectly and we enjoyed the views over the local countryside. Everything was comfortable and the whole apartment was lovely. We had fresh eggs provided which we weren't expecting! Carol was excellent in contacting us to check all was ok. Super place to stay.

Perfect short break

We loved staying Greenbanks, the hosts Carol and Barry were most welcoming. Prior to our arrival Carol gave us very accurate directions to the property as it is a hidden gem.They greeted us on arrival and a welcome pack of eggs, milk tea and coffee awaited us. Greenbanks was spotlessly clean and the location is perfect, such a peaceful, tranquil place, yet within easy access to the New Forest, the south coast or Salisbury.We felt so relaxed and refreshed after our 2 days there which was just too short. We will definitely return and highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you Carol and Barry.

Sunny countryside weekend in May

We stayed in Greenbanks (1) the lounge, bedroom, bathroom spacious upstairs with a balcony to sit out with a view across the countryside,in May enjoying the sounds of birds and sunshine. Plenty of sitting space outdoors and walks around the village,fields and woods. Village pub and cricket field a 10 minute walk. Handy pocket guides for walks from the house, though we had church bells ringing on practice evening to guide us to the Norman church too ! A tranquil place kept beautifully by Carol, excellent communication.

Peaceful Retreat

From the easy booking system through to great communication with Carol, the owner, we were looking forward to our stay at Greenbanks. We were not disappointed. The property was spotlessly clean and a great deal of thought has been put into the design and furnishing. Everything was there for us to easily self cater and, unusually, simple to use. The views can be appreciated from a patio and balcony. It is so quiet and yet lots going on. Fresh eggs from the hen house, fruit and veg - pick your own. The wild birds are relaxing to watch, had me reaching for the binoculars (supplied) and identifying ( book supplied) two green woodpeckers feasting on worms under the lawn. The local area has much to offer, managed three long walks. My vote goes to the circuit of Christchurch harbour, along Hengistbury Head with a ride on the Mudeford Ferry completing the hike. All in beautiful sunshine. Thanks to Barry for the tip on driving to Lyndhurst, worked a treat. Parish circuit walk completed. Would highly recommend Greenbanks as a beautiful place to stay, very comfortable and Carol is so helpful. Easy 5 stars, thank you.

Relax in the New Forest

On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner. There was tea, coffee, milk and home laid eggs in the kitchen. The garden and surrounding area were very relaxing with fields and trees; plenty of birds and wildlife to watch. The property was beautifully furnished and had everything we needed. Up to date information for the area, including local walks and short strolls around the village, were supplied. Internet and mobile signal were intermittent. So you need to be able to disconnect!! A calm and relaxing place for a couples break.

Excellent property lovely place to stay

Beautiful scenic spot. Quiet and peaceful. Excellent for Cycling & exploring local villages or forest tracks. Fresh eggs provided by owners chickens. Home grown garden produce available. Lovely hosts. Property completed to a high spec.Balcony a bonus but also patio area and use of picturesque garden space available. Local pub within walking distance. Good food. Thoroughly recommend this property
