There are considerate hosts and welcoming hosts and then there is Teresa & Graham who cannot do enough for their guests, whilst ensuring they get the privacy they may desire. The lodge was spotless, well equipped with so many nice touches and things provided to ensure guests were ready to enjoy their holiday from the moment of arrival. They seemingly were even able to ensure that a herd of deer were at the rear of the lodge in the early morning and/or evening. Nothing was too much.Don't want to say much more as we wish to maximise the opportunity for return visits.In short lovely people and lovely accommodation in a wonderful setting.

My wife and I enjoyed a lovely break here for 3 nights. The 5 star reviews speak for themselves and we fully recommend this property / location. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome and provided local knowledge for walks etc when required. Many thanks for a great stay and for the nice touches on arrival!

Dog friendly New Forest Cottage

The cottage was beautiful and well equipped. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and they had many nice touches in the house. It was very dog friendly with an enclosed garden and they provided treats and toys. We would definitely stay here again.

What a hidden gem

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful and well appointed lodge. It is a perfect base for exploring the area. Graham and Theresa were the best hosts, making us (and our 2 dogs) feel most welcome. Thoroughly recommended for anyone looking for a lovely, comfortable place to stay with a great pub/restaurant on your doorstep and in a location ideal for exploring the New Forest.

The Perfect Getaway

Clean, well-appointed luxury lodge in an idyllic location. The lodge had everything we needed and extras also provided including Prosecco and robes. The owners have thought of everything to make the stay as perfect as possible. We will be returning and we have already recommended the lodge to family!

Birthday break

The lodge and its garden were perfect for us and dogs, providing us with a calm an relaxing base for our stay.A beautiful, quiet location with lovely walks from the property. Teresa responded to our queries when booking very promptly and Graham was an excellent host during our stay, full of helpful knowledge about the area and many other things that we discussed.We'd love to come back as its the ideal base for our visits to see family in the Bournemouth area and give us a break at the same time.
