Lake Lanier Escape - Secluded Cabin on Quiet Cove with Two-Story Dock

This property is an easy trip from Atlanta and surrounding areas. The house is only 5-7 minutes off GA 400 and close to restaurants, grocery stores and outlet shopping.
Whether you want to come for a business retreat, private meeting area or just a weekend away this is the perfect place.The parking is generous for 4 cars on a flat driveway. There are only 5 steps to the decking and into the house. The home is comfortable and relaxed for an enjoyable time. The walk to the dock is gentle and has stairs with dual handrails. There are 2 slips for boats or jet skis.During the Fall we have a firepit on the grounds, a wood fireplace in the main sitting area and the sunporch has screens for a great cross breeze. We provide the wood for the firepit and fireplace.
The kitchen is fully equipped with new cabinets and equipment. Linens and towels are provided.
There is a new washer and dryer available. There are TVs on the sun porch, living area ( large screen for movies and game watching) and in master bedroom and queen bedroom with wi-fi throughout and HD. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 baths - one king, one queen and one bunk bed set with a trundle.
The view from the deck and sun porch are enjoyable with seating for meals in each area.
The closeness to Atlanta with only a 45 minute drive has made this very enjoyable for all of us. The development of restaurants, shopping, etc. through the years has made it very nice to enjoy the lake and not worry about forgetting anything we might need. Our sons have enjoyed hiking in the area beside the water sports and boating.

Over the 40 plus years we have had this home, we have enjoyed gardening, finishing off the grounds, adding a new deck and sun porch as well as installing the stairs to the lake for easy access along with a new 2-story deck on the dock in July 2022! The firepit in any season is wonderful. Firewood is provided.
The furnishings are comfortable throughout and many times there are people staying in the sun room especially enjoying the panoramic 'tree house' view of the lake. The deck with the seating area for meals is a special place for gathering at all times of the day. The gas grill is frequently used for all the outdoor cooking. During the early Spring, Winter and Fall the wood burning fireplace is a hit along with the firepit outside.
The cove is quiet and wonderful for swimming, fishing, lounging on the dock, kayacking or boating and skiing. The walk back to the house is only minutes away.
Whether you would like a few days away from the city with your friends or family, or want to spend a week relaxing and enjoying the north Georgia countryside, this is a special place that will allow you to escape to a special retreat. My sons remind me it is a great place for their friends to gather and truly enjoy themselves all seasons of the year.
