Le chalet Jacks est un chalet détaché magnifiquement présenté et très bien équipé situé dans 300 acres de terres agricoles en activité dont vous êtes invités à profiter. Le chalet donne sur les collines du Devon. Jacks a été fini selon les normes les plus élevées et convient parfaitement à une jeune famille ou à des couples à la recherche d'une retraite paisible dans une région d'une beauté naturelle préservée. Deux chambres doubles avec salle de bains, un lit king et un lit super king (ou 2 lits simples). Chauffage central au fuel, eau chaude instantanée et poêle à bois dans le salon. Une cuisine séparée avec table à manger et tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour des vacances confortables.

Superb house and location

Warm and friendly welcome. Jack's was a lovely retreat. Everything one could wish for in a holiday home. The South Hams area is stunning and the location perfect for the balance of moors and sea. Highly recommended.

Peace and quiet

jack's Cottage is the perfect place to stay if you enjoy peace, quiet, glorious views with all comforts. The cottage is well equipped, beds very comfortable. The hosts are friendly, helpful, and on hand if you need them. But do not intrude. We loved our country stay in the beautiful countryside of the South Hams. Perfect for walkers and lovers of nature.

Property was great however the bathroom lacked space. The couple who owned the property were lovely and really helpful. Verbo are totally uncontactable and no help what so ever, they charge a very high commission rate and we would not use them again for all the tea in China.

Such a lovely property - the pictures actually don't do it justice! Great facilities, well equipped, clean. The location (albeit down a few single track roads) is quiet and peaceful. So lovely, well recommended and reckon it would be lovely in winter as well as summer!

Complete peace and quiet

This really is exactly what we were expecting from the listing. It is situated in the most idyllic surroundings with absolutely no noise other than the very heavy rain we unfortunately experienced! Catherine and her husband were incredibly helpful and we can’t wait to go back!

Quiet and peaceful cottage stay

Jack's Cottage is set in beautiful Devon farmland with views across the fields from the patio. The cottage is spacious with a big country kitchen, two good size bedrooms with comfortable beds and luxury en suites. Cozy sitting room with all amenities. The cottage is within easy reach of the South Hams towns and villages. Great local pub. We hope to return one day. Catherine is a very friendly, helpful owner.

We had a great 4 night stay at Jacks Cottage self catering Four adults + 1 small dog - couldn’t fault anything lovely and peaceful great base to start exploring Devon visiting Salcombe - Brixham - Dartmouth - Totnes. Amazing cottage. Wonderful owners. Perfect setting. Highly recommend. Can't wait to return.

An amazing cottage, perfectly decorated and stocked with everything you could need. So much thought has been put into the holiday home. It was quiet and peaceful - perfect for our get away. The owners were friendly and very welcoming. We felt at home in their cottage which made for a perfect time away. Have already started looking at the next time we can return. We would rate them as a 20 out of 10 for everything.

A very comfortable and well equipped cottage in a beautiful country setting.

This cottage is a perfect get away, snuggled in the rolling Devon hills with far reaching views across farmland during the day and skies littered with stars at night. Despite this it is only a five minute drive to either Harberton or Harbertonford village and Totnes is only 15 minutes drive away. We brought our dog and took long walks through fields along the public footpath that passes near by the cottage. Having lived and explored around both Totnes and Harberton it was a wonderful surprise to discover this beautiful patch of countryside. The house itself has very comfortable beds, great showers, a really well equipped kitchen, log fire, and private outside seating with unspoilt views. Catherine is a really friendly (and funny) but unintrusive host. A great place for families or two couples (as there are two ensuite showers) - and dogs! We will be back to stay again soon.

Martyn, myself and our two children live in the farmhouse and run a bed and breakfast. We are a very friendly, welcoming family, always happy to help and advise on whatever is needed, from suggestions for day trips or how to use the dishwasher! Martyn is the farmer and I run the B and B and holiday cottage, however the key is to be able to work well together.

Jacks Cottage is a very quiet cottage, located in the middle of our 300 acre farm. Jacks has its own private drive and garden. You will be extremely comfortable and able to completely relax. Jacks has been awarded five star gold by Visit Britain, you really won’t want for anything. With crisp bed linen and fluffy soft towels the cottage has been renovated to the highest standard. Beautiful garden over looking our corn fields in the summer and a cosy lounge with woodburner for the colder months.
