Ocean Front vs. Ocean View

The description of the property and its amenities is inaccurate. The condo was advertised as “ocean front”. At best it is “partial ocean view”. Two of the amenities listed are out of order had have been for some time. The hot tub and fire pit should be removed from the amenity list until they are repaired.

The view from the unit was a bit disappointing. the carpet in the living room was a tripping hazard. The throw rug in the master bathroom was dirty and stained. The master bedroom was cluttered with too much furniture. We have been staying in Palmetto Dunes on and off for the last 25 years and love it there and will definitely will be back next year, just not to this unit.

We’ve stayed at 4103 Windsor Court several times. Unfortunately, our stay this time was disappointing! Condo had an odd, mold smell during the entire stay! No matter what we did to try to get rid of the odor, it remained. Furniture smelled like urine! The kitchen had dirty cups/glasses in cabinet. The deck was very dirty, it needed sweeping and cleaned. Hate to write a negative review, but felt it was necessary!

The condo was nice and very clean, no problem with ants as a previous review stated. Check in was difficult as the signage is very poor. The pictures make it look like there is greater view of the ocean when in fact there is a very small view. The condo does not overlook the pool and there is only limited ocean view through the trees. There is one elevator for the entire building. Not even a set of elevators. Fortunately this condo is on the first floor but the wait for an elevator is you’re carrying luggage was horrendous. Pleasant stay but would choose another condo next time.

We had a great stay with family. Just a warning there were ants literally everywhere in this unit.. we lost food in the kitchen.. came back and bread was covered in ants. They were crawling over our newborns bottles, and also in the bathrooms. Would suggest pest control take care of the issue. Couldn’t even cook on the stove because within a few minutes ants were everywhere! It was frustrating and annoying we couldn’t even leave bottles out to dry as ants would be crawling all over them!

We had a terrific 2 week stay. Not only was the weather beautiful but our condo was perfect for us. Very comfortable and clean and pleasantly decorated. It is definitely on our return list!

August 2017 Stay

This was our third stay in this room in three years. I must say the first two were better than this stay. We had dead bugs there were 6 palmetto bugs and over 10 hard shelled bugs. We never had bugs before. We always take our shoes off when we go into our house or here also. I showed my wife the bottom of my feet after being in the room for an hour. They were black on the bottom. The floors had not been mopped. Also there were dust bunnies in the corners of the rooms. Poor housekeeping. Then we had to call for air conditioning to be fixed twice. Both times the ac broke during the day and did not get service until the next afternoon. The temperature was 81 when we went to bed. I would think that someone would have offered a reduction in the rental since we had to do without air for the better part of 4 days. Thank you Sue & Ed Christian

June 2018 Stay

The condo is very comfortable and has everything you need to have a great stay. Though I never used the kitchen, it does seem to have everything you need if that is your thing. I was here for rest and relaxation and the king sized bed is like sleeping on a cloud. The condo is also very quiet which makes it even better. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the wifi and put some security on it so everyone in the area isn’t using it.

Every aspect from rental to leaving HHI was first class. So easy to book and loved getting a message that our unit was ready early! Unit was completely setup for all our needs - just like being at home. We’ve used Island Getaway for years and have never been disappointed. September 2019 vacation

This was our third year staying at this condo...it is very well maintained, clean, and has the best stocked kitchen of any place we've stayed on Hilton Head. The atmosphere is great - close to the beach, quiet surroundings, good sized pool area that's very clean. We've been to Hilton Head each year for over 20 years - this condo has become our favorite place to stay!

Lovely property

We enjoyed our stay in this beautifully decorated and clean unit. It had a perfect view of the ocean and we enjoyed sitting on the patio daily. The only critique I will give is to leave more wash cloths for the week instead of 1 per person. It resulted in more laundry than was necessary while on vacation.
