This was our second visit to the area (last time in 1975) and the stay at Elaines’s unit, Hunters End, was delightful. It was well furnished, equipped, clean and comfortable so ideal. So it is well recommended and added to our joyful 5 nights in the lovely Peak District.

We really enjoyed our stay. The appartments was perfect, so comfortable and cozy. The gardens were beautiful and there was scenery all around as you looked out of the windows. It was very peaceful and relaxing. A lovely river walk near by. So pleased we found it.

An excellent, comfortable, clean and well equipped self contained apartment, with private off street parking. The location is ideal for many local picturesque and peaceful circular walks. Although there are no shops or pubs, in Middleton, there are cafés, pubs and a shop, in youlgreave, 5 minutes drive away. Elaine & Tad, were lovely, friendly and very helpful.All in all a fantastic holiday location and accommodation, which I can highly recommend.

Walkers' paradise!

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable in a beautiful and tranquil garden setting. Access to many walks from the property - no need to drive every day. Interesting market towns nearby and some National Trust properties an hour or so away. Youlgreave is in walking distance- 3 pubs serving food and some shops with local produce.

Excellent Accommodation

An excellent base for visiting the Peak District. The flat was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Off road parking and use of a private garden was lovely. A quiet village location, 20 minute walk into Youlgrave with shops and pubs. We had an excellent meal at The George Hotel which we would recommend. Thank you Elaine for making our stay so easy.
