Tulip Tree Cottage Ă©tait Ă  l'origine la maison d'Ă©cole du village construite dans les annĂ©es 1870 et maintenant une maison confortable et rĂ©cemment convertie situĂ©e dans la rĂ©gion de Kent d'une beautĂ© naturelle exceptionnelle. À distance de marche du supermarchĂ© du village, de la pharmacie et de 3 bons pubs, c'est l'endroit idĂ©al pour des vacances en famille ou un week-end entre amis. Ce chalet a sa propre terrasse isolĂ©e avec des siĂšges et est entourĂ© de fleurs et de plantes Ă  partir du printemps - parfait pour le petit dĂ©jeuner et les longues soirĂ©es d'Ă©tĂ©. La pelouse et les bois sont partagĂ©s avec les invitĂ©s dans le chalet voisin, mais il y a beaucoup d'espace pour tout le monde. 5 minutes de Canterbury, 60 minutes de Londres et 27 minutes de la sortie Eurotunnel. 10% de rĂ©duction pour 7 nuits +.

Beautiful location, walks from the door and a fab pub on the doorstep. Hosts were non intrusive but available and welcoming. Everything was just perfect. Reasonably secure garden so perfect for my older dog, my youngster I kept on a flexi to be safe.

Canterbury autumnal break

Great communication with James, ideal location. Quiet and easily accessible to Canterbury, Whitstable and Herne Bay. Fabulous local pub, The Red Lion in walking distance. Cottage was modern, clean and very comfy beds. Garden leading to woods and fields.

Perfect place to stay for visiting Kent

Lovely location. Clean and well equipped. Owner was particularly helpful especially when we had an unfortunate power cut ( not owners fault). Car charging facility much appreciated. Good places to eat within walking distance. Would recommend The Pig fir something special.

Super Dog friendly cottage

Great Cottage with super back garden. Very convenient for dog owners and location to Canterbury. Local shop and pubs close by serving great food. Only negative is double beds are quite small so if you are a large frame could be a tight fit.

Bridge

Super mooie locatie in klein dorp. Perfect uitgangspunt om Canterbury te bezoeken. 10 Minuten met de bus. Mooi verbouwd "oud" schoolgebouw met een prachtige tuin. In de omgeving schitterende wandelingen te maken . Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar. Al met al een aanrader om naartoe te gaan. Wij hebben genoten!

A Perfect Cottage

We could not have enjoyed our stay here anymore than we did; we loved everything about Tulip Tree Cottage! We were warmly greeted and access to the property was quick and easy. The cottage has been beautifully renovated and the finish and furnishings throughout were of the highest quality. The cottage is extremely well equipped and nothing was lacking. The private patio was a delight and the very large garden and wooded area were wonderful. In the evenings we took a glass of wine to the bench under the trees and sat looking back at the cottage, listening to the song thrushes and blackbirds singing. Reading the guest book it is clear that we are not alone in loving Tulip Tree Cottage and hoping to return. I have never read a guest book so full of positive comments and happy visitors! I would like to add a more personal comment too; travelling with someone who has Alzheimer's is usually a nightmare, my husband does not cope well with new places and our visits to see family in England are usually stressful and difficult. However, the moment my husband entered Tulip Tree Cottage he was calm and at peace. There is a wonderful ambience to the cottage and its tranquillity worked wonders for us. We loved every minute and came home feeling properly rested - for the first time in 10 years. A huge and heartfelt 'thank you' to James and your lovely partner.

Tulip Cottage April 2024

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities of home. The villagers of Bridge are very friendly. Wonderful walking trails with great views. James, the owner of the property, was very responsive and made it very easy for us to feel at home.

Amazing Stay

We moved to Bridge for 5 weeks before departing to Spain. James was a wonderful host who went over and above to help us (even printed off our travel labels when we realised there was no way for us to d so!) We have a dog who was more than comfortable and the walks around Bridge are superb, we were walking 6 miles a day and not once got bored of the walk. The people of Bridge are the nicest that we have met in a long time. The pubs in the Village are 10/10 I even used the dentist and the Beauty Salon in the village whilst staying and the service was impeccable. Short trip to Canterbury by car, if required. I cannot recommend James and his cottages enough Love, Sally, Tom & Rosa

What a great and lovely cottage!

We had a great time in this beautifull cottage with the amazing garden. Our kids (12 and 9) and dog had the time of their lives too. They could run, play outside and create house of trees. All was available in the house. And the communication with James was just perfect. We were also very thankfull for his flexibility on our challenging circumstances. Thanks so much James!

Perfect Stay

Hi, I'm James and this is my wife Ayako. We have two kids aged 12 and 14. I was born in Kent, grew up in London, worked in Japan for over 20 years and moved back to the UK in 2012. I've sailed a lot over the years but recently do mostly long walks around the UK and around Bridge. We enjoy camping and staying in other people's holiday lets in the UK and France. I used to spend 14 hours a day in a suit but now I'm either digging, planting or painting a wall !
