This truly is a beachfront place, with a balcony facing the beach, which was quite pleasant. It was clean and well-equipped, and there are some nice restaurants nearby (including on the beach). We chose to stay here, enjoy the beach in the morning and then take the bus and train into Barcelona most days to do sightseeing. You can catch the bus right across the street to the train station. Contrary to what Google says, it's more like a 45-minute ride all tolled to see anything in Barcelona, but the buses and trains are plentiful (and often surprisingly crowded!). Our only complaint about the property was the horrible check-in process (we were told we could drop off our bags but when we arrived at 7 am after an overnight flight we were rather rudely told that we'd have to wait till 5 pm for the full checkin--so we were stranded on an empty beach in the early morning, with our luggage, which we ultimately wheeled and lugged for over a mile to check into a Best Western for the night, too tired to deal with this mess. Thereafter it was still a major hassle trying to key in the locks; the owner did come on WhatsApp to help. Second, the place had no hair dryer and once again the same crazy rude behavior (all on WhatsApp--no phone calls). After 2 days I went ahead and bought a dryer for myself; none ever materialized. It's a fine place, just really a very confusing and unpleasant communication process due to whoever does the Whats App texting (seems like 2 people involved).
