Ce beau studio est spacieux et moderne dans un emplacement parfait.Cet appartement est situĂ© au cƓur de Madrid, le long de l'une des rues commerçantes les plus connues de la ville, la Calle Fuencarral. Juste devant la porte de l'immeuble, vous trouverez de nombreux magasins et restaurants, bars Ă  tapas et cafĂ©s. SituĂ© juste derriĂšre l'immeuble, le bar FĂĄbrica Maravillas, connu pour sa large gamme de biĂšres artisanales. La cĂ©lĂšbre rue Gran VĂ­a est Ă  moins d'une minute, ainsi que diverses connexions de mĂ©tro et marchĂ©s.L'espace de 60 mĂštres contient une cuisine complĂšte, un salon confortable avec TV et une grande salle de bain. Lovely central property on a shopping street close to the Gran Via. Even though the property was on a main street once the windows and shutters were closed there was very little noise.The public areas of the property are beautiful and the courtyard is exquisite. We would recommend this property. Clean, modern amentities and air conditioning. The bed has been changed from the photos and is a higher ottoman bed.

Good location, but noisy at night. Host told us we could leave our bags at the apartment earlier (12:30) than check-in (3:00 pm) but no one was there to take them. No blanket or duvet for the bed, no extra toilet paper, no paper towels, very little in kitchen equipment. Host didn't answer our questions for over a day. I'm tired of VRBO hosts doing so little and charging so much. I hope we get our 100 euro deposit back ASAP.

What a fabulous location!!

Apartment is perfectly situated near metro stations. Zillions of restaurants nearby. Apartment is very basic but has everything you need. We had a blast experiencing Madrid. Old European charm!

We enjoyed our stay here. The flat is centrally located with public transportation practically just a few steps away. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby as well. The flat is cozy and comfortable and served our needs quite well. Would definitely stay here again. Lee & Joyce

Exactly as advertised. Old world charm, perfectly equipped. Clean, spacious, comfortable beds. Great windows out onto the bustling Fuencarral. Wonderful shopping. Great restaurants and cafes and coffee bars and frozen yogurt right in the neighborhood. A lively vibrant place to stay. Great security.

Fortunate choice

I only booked this apartment as friends on their first visit to Madrid had booked a nearby hotel. I struck lucky! Great apartment in a cool location. Noisy on the Saturday night, but hey, Real don’t win the Champions league every weekend! Really enjoyed my stay.

Perfect, Perfect, Perfect!!

Perfect location on the shopping strip of Calle Fuencarral and a short stroll to Gran Via and more shopping and tapas (our favourite was Gran Caval and Tapas Tapas) Puerta Del Sol wasn't far and even more tapas and shopping. A host of Museums only a short uber away. Perfect apartment - elegant, spacious, very clean, all amenities you need, very very secure with a delightful courtyard. Perfect Hosts: timely, accurate and warm communication with Jorge - easy to access web site with all the info your need to access the apartment. Highly recommended! Will stay again!

Nice neighborhood but property had problems.

We did not get any information about getting into the street door. We stood in the street trying to call the listed number for 20-30 minutes. Fortunately, another occupant of the building let us in. The other check in information with door codes worked fine but there was no information about how to enter the street door. There were no places to put luggage other than the floor. This was not a big deal until it rained all night and the ceiling let in water that dripped all night on my clothes. A piece of dry wall tape actually fell off onto my clothes and stained some of them with white goop. I moved my clothes and put the kitchen waste basket under the drip for the next three days. Something happened to the electrical outlets at the head of the bed and around the apartment. They shut off (breaker tripped somewhere?) and we couldn’t use the lights at the head of the bed or charge devices. The street and area around the apartment was really nice. There is good shopping and nice restaurants and everything important to see is in walking distance. We did enjoy this apartment but the rain for the four days we were there did cause some aggravation.

Disappointing and Mucho Noise

Check-in was awful. I paid the rental in advance, yet it was not enough... I needed a 100 Euro deposit to 'unlock' the final key code 24 hours before my stay. Since I was on an international flight I had to do this when I landed on my smartphone. The entry instructions were about 7 steps to enter (multiple codes, keys, lock boxes, etc). After many attempts and finally a phone call trying to get into the apartment it was discovered that the office had neglected to reset the code. Be aware there are no frills here: one towel each (for our 9 day stay), 1 roll of toilet paper, zero paper towels, zero ingredients in kitchen (no salt, pepper, oil, etc). Noise was ever-present (neighbors and street noise). A floor nail stuck out from the ancient floor and stabbed my foot. Furniture is worn. The sofas are actually mini foam slabs and all the furniture is low, probably to enhance the spacious-looking photos. The corners of the bathroom were filthy (hairs, dust) and small ants were constantly parading in the shower. Some positives... the place is sunny and bright during the day and the big windows and lofted space are nice. The location is near a metro and many good places to eat. Loved having a Nespresso machine! But of course you need to buy the pods, none are provided.

Place is cute and charming, the appliances were bit on the older side and there was no extra beddings, Other than that everything was great!

The bed is super comfy and there is plenty of room to store your belongings. Communication with Jose and Javier was really great. They answered all our questions quickly. The location is perfect. You are in the middle of everything and can get to everywhere quickly. Lots of good restaurants and shops around. Museums and bars in walking distance. At night, it can be noisy from the street. We slept with the Windows shut, so it was fine. If you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
