A wonderful house embedded into the forest with a stunning view down the hills of Tuscany.We visited this wonderful place in the second half of October and enjoyed the heated pool and Jacuzzi, the great nature with lots of hiking trails as well as the vicinity to Firenze, which can be easily accessed via train from Pontassieve station.Annamaria is a great host, very friendly, perfect communication and very responsive to each question or need being brought to her attention.A highly recommended house, location and host for everybody looking for a silent and peaceful place to enjoy the nature of Tuscany while being close enough to its cities for sight seeing and cultural activities.

Such a beautiful home and beautiful surroundings. The sunset was incredible and counting the stars I was in awe. Thank you Anna for letting us stay in your amazing home. A dip in pool after a day out made it perfect.

Fabulous place in Tuscany

Words can’t describe the views and setting for this spotlessly clean home out in the Tuscan countryside. We loved our restful time here. We were able to use the hot tub and pool daily along with the wood fire barbecue grill. Would definitely come back!

Breathtaking View on a lovely Place

We stayed there with our Family with our Child (3Y) the garden, the House, the Poolarea everything there is super clean, beautiful and graceful. The Host Annamaria and her Son are so Warm-hearted and generous. The garden is so huge and amazing, we can absolutely recommend this house.

Property was extra clean, owners were very attentive. Facilities are most suited to a family who would spend most of their time onsite, utilizing the summer facilities provided.

Simply amazing

The villa is like something out of a dream! Very clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and peaceful surroundings. Anna and Simon were very easy to communicate with. The meal she made was absolutely delicious! I would love to visit again someday.

Lovely week in Pelago in october.

We had a great week in the villa of Annamaria. We loved the beautiful view near the swimmingpool. The house is wel equipped. We liked the outdoor ‘livingroom’ where you can have your dinner or BBQ. Annamaria and Simone gaves a warm welcome. Thank you for having us in your beautiful house.

Beautiful Tuscan Villa OUTSIDE of Florence

Anna was just a delightful host - because we came in late, we asked if she could provide us a simple meat/cheese tray (at our cost of course) and she provided a 4 course home made meal!!!! It was fantastic and we ate leftovers for our entire stay. The villa is just beautiful and had everything we needed and more - be sure to come in warm weather to use the pool. It's a perfect home base to explore the area - but be prepared to drive the curvy roads - which is half the fun!

The outside of the house, the poolarea, the veranda all very beautiful!It is clean, very cozy kitchen. Annemaria is amazing! So friendly and always there to lend a hand if needed. She and het daughter cooked us a lovely dinner. Highly recommended.The only thing that could be improved in the villa is the livingroom. We had very bad weather and were forced to stay inside. The living only has a couch for two persons and is uncomfortable. We were with 4 people so not enough room to sit on. And it was chilly.But if the weather is good nobody cares about that ofcourse. Then you will have an amazing time there!

AMAZING!

Pictures don’t begin to do this house justice. From the views, to the gorgeous swimming pool, to the stunning landscape, this was the most relaxing and picturesque house we’ve ever vacationed in. AnnaMaria, Alberto and their family were the perfect hosts. Make sure you request a homemade Tuscan dinner! Best meal ever. We can’t wait to go back.

Fantastic view

Incredible view and atmosphere in this Tuscany house. The house has everything you need and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. We can recommend to enjoy a Tuscany dinner prepared by the hosts - very authentic and delicious. The pool is really nice. Only 2 things that is taking the score down a notch are the gravel road to the house and the bugs…but the house and Tuscany atmosphere overweight this!

Amazing Tuscan Villa!

Anna is very attentive and really helpful. She really does want you to have the best time and experience in her home. The location is good as long as you don’t mind a little drive. The house and grounds are STUNNING! We loved our stay and would go back. The weather wasn’t great when we went but we still utilised the pool and hot tub when possible. Our children also loved the place and we all had fun regardless of weather. Thanks Anna

YaYa's do Tuscany

This was a wonderful, scenic location for a get away. The hosts were absolutely lovely, accommodating and responsive. The view from this farmhouse is utterly breathtaking. I recommend a 4WD vehicle to help with the climb up to the farmhouse. The pool is not heated so unfortunately we did not get to enjoy that. Next time I would go in June I think. Thanks for the memories!!!!

Fabulous Tuscan Villa!

We had a wonderful holiday at Podere Gualpoli. The villa is well-appointed with everything we needed to cook a few meals and relax outside of Florence. My family enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The views are incredible! Annamaria and Simone were so welcoming. There were lovely welcome gifts and fresh eggs. When the washer broke, Simone finished my son’s laundry at home and returned it the next day. The washer was also replaced the next day. I would highly recommend this villa for a relaxing Tuscan holiday.

Can’t Wait to Return!

This gorgeous Tuscan Villa was everything I had dreamed of for my 60th birthday! Surrounded by family with amazing views and proximity to Florence and all that Tuscany has to offer. The hosts went above and beyond to assure our stay was perfection. The birthday dinner that Anna and Sarah prepared will be remembered forever. Best meal we had in Italy…and we had some good ones! We loved ending the day toasting the sunset while lounging at the infinity pool. Commuting to Florence was easy but don’t miss the nearby smaller villages, local trattorias, gelato, and forested hikes. I can’t say enough about Podere Gualpoli!

Incredible View and setting

We spent 5 nights at this villa. It is up the hill away from Florence but that is what makes it a perfect getaway. Home is clean and kitchen is stocked well. No AC but the breezes cooled us off at night. Beds are comfy. Pool is perfect and the view is unforgettable. It takes about 25 minutes to travel to the nearest grocery store and the bus station to travel to Florence to see the sights. Besides that we mostly just enjoyed the tranquility, views and warm accommodations. Highly recommend asking about a full meal. Anna and her daughter made it a memorable and delicious feast.
