Ensoleillé, accueillant 1 chambre à coucher, boisé, emplacement de l'île, privée, tout près de l'océan

Une chambre avec lit queen-size, salle de séjour, une salle de bain avec baignoire et douche. Il y a un petit réfrigérateur et Keurig; pas de cuisine. Wi-fi gratuit, mais pas de télévision. Un "prolongateur" Wi-Fi a résolu les problèmes liés au Wi-Fi que certains commentateurs ont décrits. Il y a un grand canapé sur lequel un enfant en bas âge ou un très jeune enfant serait à l'aise pour dormir, mais ce n'est pas un lit pliant. Cette unité est au-dessus de notre garage avec entrée séparée par un escalier extérieur, s'il vous plaît voir les photos. S'il y a des problèmes de mobilité, ce n'est pas l'endroit pour vous! Comprend l'accès (jusqu'à deux étapes) à un dépistage dans balcon.

Nous sommes situés dans la zone Ville Colline de Bar Harbor. BH centre-ville est à 15-20 minutes de route d'ici, en utilisant le charme et avec précision nommée "Crooked Road." NE et SW Harbors et Ellsworth, sont également chacun à environ 15 minutes en voiture. La réserve "Blue Horizons" du Maine Coast Heritage Trust se trouve à 10 minutes à pied de l'océan et la réserve naturelle de Blagdon est à 5 minutes en voiture.

Easy to find away from bustle of downtown but only a 15 min drive there. Near lovely coffee shop and campgrounds for others to stay. Proprietor was amazing and helpful our whole stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay from (before) check-in to check-out and everything in between. The place was immaculately clean. The location was nice and quiet yet minutes from Bar Harbor Village, Acadia National Park and Southwest Harbor, as well as the Island Explorer (Gateway Center), the free bus that can take you everywhere. Barbara was wonderful with quick responses and tips on where to go for food, sights, etc We hope to return next year!

This is the perfect property for a couple wanting to get away for a while. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was great for exploring Acadia and Bar Harbor while still being tucked away somewhere quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy, and we really enjoyed having a relaxing place to come back to after spending the day hiking and exploring. The host was helpful and everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any couple visiting the area.

Just a wonderful cozy space in a beautiful wooded Maine area. The apartment had everything we needed and perfect for us. I would stay here every time we come to Maine. Very close to Bar Harbor (13-15 minutes). Loved everything about our stay.

Adorable, very clean apartment and perfect location! The woodsy property was so cozy. The host was wonderful! We had an amazing time visiting Acadia National Park (which was a short, easy drive from the apartment) and would stay here again in the future!

What an incredible find to enjoy the delights of Acadia and Bar Harbor! The room was cozy, pristine, private, and a perfect place to get away as my wife and I celebrated our honoeymoon. The bed was beyond comfortable, the room had ample sitting space, the bookshelves were stocked with not only incredible reads, but also some board games for a rainy day or relaxing night. The grounds the property is on are gorgeous and there's an easy beach access a short little hike away. Everything is an easy 15 minutes, and the drives are so pretty on the island that it never felt that long! Barbara was a delight and a fount of good information and guidance on what to do, and left wonderful notes and tons of guidebooks to peruse through. She let us borrow chairs for our Cadillac Mountain sunrise and was available at all times, but never forced herself into our trip (we were just happy to have her!). For the price, the comfort, the vibe, and the amenities, I cannot recommend this enough, and when we go back, this is the first listing I'll be looking for!

Barbara and David were wonderful hosts, and the space was spotless and very well stocked with essentials. We loved the location—tucked away in a quiet wooded setting, yet close to Acadia’s hikes and sights and just a short drive to Bar Harbor. It was the perfect place to relax and recharge after a day of hiking before heading into town for dinner.

Immaculate Stay

Our stay was terrific, and Barbra was a great host. Even with some hiccups at the property, Barbara was very upfront and did a great job communicating throughout the stay. Whenever we make our way back up to the Bar Harbor area, we will be sure to stay here.

Perfect location

Great location to get to all parts of the park as well as Bar Harbor. Has lots of little touches which make the stay perfect. Amazing little retreat after a day of hiking!
