Passo Duomo avec jardin et solarium - Détente et confort au coeur d'Amalf

L'A Passo Duomo est une charmante petite maison située dans le centre historique d'Amalfi, à 2 minutes à pied de la célèbre cathédrale Sant'Andrea. Il est situé à quelques pas de la route principale et peut être atteint par une "allée" caractéristique. Le petit jardin, surmonté d'un citronnier centenaire, offre des moments de détente à quelques pas de tous les services nécessaires: la plage, la gare routière, le port, les restaurants et les commerces sont à portée de main.

La maison récemment rénovée, avec climatisation et WIFI inclus, peut accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes. Il se compose d'une entrée qui mène à une cuisine avec majolique en céramique Vietri avec tout le confort (machine à café, micro-ondes, four, grille-pain) et un confortable canapé-lit double. En continuant vous entrez dans une chambre double, une chambre avec deux lits simples et une salle de bain, le tout entre les anciens sols voûtés.
Dehors, vous trouverez une terrasse meublée, un jardin avec une salle de bains et enfin un solarium avec chaises longues et un parasol pour profiter du silence d'un endroit où le temps semble s'être arrêté.

This was the best place we stayed in Italy, Laura met us at the ferry, had recommendations for places to eat and things to do. The place is very large and great for families, we all loved it.

We spent 13 days in this lovely home - which was conveniently located in central Amalfi. It is a unique property that offers an authentic Italian experience, with privacy and lovely outdoor spaces… plus it is only steps away from the convenience of Amalfi shops and restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised with the multi-level living space which offered outdoor eating and patio spaces that were private and quiet - the kitchen area provided all we needed - and the bed was extremely comfortable. We were very happy with our stay and we thank Laura for sharing her property with us. We found Amalfi an awesome location to then explore the other areas of the coast - Ravello, Positano, Pompeii and more !

Amazing spot

You can't get a better location in Amalfi - just steps from the main shopping and restaurant street and a few blocks from the piazza and the seafront. The place is an oasis of quiet: clean, comfortable, with a full kitchen, a courtyard (with lemon trees!) and laundry facility. Laura was a fantastic host who met our bus and took us to the flat, along with providing great local recommendations. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay and it was just as described, the private courtyard was great and relaxing after a hectic day! Cristina and Laura were fantastic and very helpful from arranging transportation to the house, meeting us at the port, and recommendations for the best places to eat. The property is conveniently located to the shops, restaurants and Duomo in Amalfi however it is quiet even-though being off of the Main Street.

We absolutely loved our stay at A Passo Duomo and would definitely come back. The location was right in the middle of everything which made it easy to quickly stop back to drop things off or take a break between activities. The property itself is perfect- clean, large, and easily accommodated four women. The terrace and solarium were a beautiful place to enjoy an espresso or relax. Laura, our host, was kind, friendly, and helpful. She met us when we arrived and gave us excellent recommendations for things to see and do around the Amalfi Coast. Property is steps from the center of town. Bedrooms are in separate structures situated around a central courtyard. Clean, quiet, and everything as advertised. Laura, the property manager, was very easy to work with, sweet, and helpful. The whole stay was very smooth, we would stay there again in a second.

Trip to Amalfi

Laura and her property were wonderful. The unit was beautiful and clean with nice enclosed garden and lemon trees. All the rooms are broken up and yiu have to go thru one to get to the bath but expected in Amalfi. Laura met us at the ferry dock and was always helpful with tips and recommendations.

Passo Duomo is one of the best VRBO stays my wife and I have ever had. Laura is the best. She met us at the port, actually took over my wife's luggage, and had us in the apartment right after arrival (before check-in). She supplied us with all kinds of recommendations and even had a couple of treats in the refrigerator for us. If going to Amalfi, you really need to consider Passo Duomo. It is right in the middle of all activity (just down from the Duomo), but absolutely quiet and restful. We could adjust the air conditioning to any setting and we even had use of a washer for dirty clothes. Many thanks Laura

Beautiful apartment in the heart of Amalfi

Everything about staying here was wonderful. Laura was an amazing host, meeting us at the Amalfi dock when we arrived, bringing us to the apartment, and showing us around. The apartment is split up into 3 small rooms/buildings around an outdoor courtyard. It was clean and very well kept. The whole family loved staying there. You are right near the main street area, but it is nice and quiet too. Can walk to the beach or anywhere else in just a few minutes. We can't say enough great things about our stay here. Hoping to come back sometime in the future!

So clean and such a gorgeous apartment

The host met us personally to walk us to the location, she is a lovely person and told us some of the history of the apartment. The photos on line don't do it justice, the layout makes it difficult to capture. The heart of the outdoor space is an enormous old lemon tree. This is a true gem and the cleanest VRBO I have ever enjoyed. You are just steps from the heart of town but when you enter there is serenity inside.

Great, but more steps than expected

Great apartment in a great location. I was surprised to find many more stairs than I expected based on the description and other reviews. There were 8-9 steps outside the apartment, but then inside were 18-20 steps up to the living area. VRBO should require a better description of access to properties including number of steps.

Great location in Amalfi!

We enjoyed our short stay in Amalfi. Our host, Laura, was very helpful and met us at the bus to show us the way to the apartment. She also recommended restaurants and helped to arrange a driver for a day trip to Pompeii. The apartment is a former family home, and the layout is a little unusual. The master bed is part of the kitchen/dining room area and the washroom is outside and up a few stairs. We found this a bit awkward but it is part of the charm of staying in an ancient town. The location was very central and perfect for exploring the town on foot. A small oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of this popular tourist destination!

Stunning home, amazing location and Super host!

This has been by far my favorite stay so far. The place is stunning, clean, private and has a homy feel. It’s about 30ft from the main road in Amalfi, you only have to climb about 9-10 steps which made it mega easy for luggage. All bars, restaurants and shops are about a 1-5min walk from the door. It has a beautiful Lemon tree in the terrace so obviously I made fresh lemonade on day 1. Laura was a super host, helped us arrange transportation to and from the house, met us on check-in day, gave us a tour of the home and made sure we had a list of restaurants and local recommendations (all turned out great). I’m so glad we got this lucky with this place. Would 100% stay again and have already recommended to friends. <3

Amazing Location and Great Home Base for Amalfi Coast Visit

We had a lovely stay at Laura’s place in Amalfi! She was incredibly helpful ahead of our trip, answering my many questions and helping coordinate parking at a nearby garage. My husband and I brought his grandmother along for the trip, and this apartment was perfect for her with the limited number of stairs it took to access versus other properties. On the day we arrived, Laura was so welcoming, meeting us at the garage and escorting us to her place. The apartment has a unique but charming setup. My husband and I stayed on the pullout couch in the kitchen area and gave his grandmother the bedroom with the en-suite bathroom. We had perfect weather so I didn’t at all mind having to venture outside to access the second bathroom. The location of the apartment was excellent, just a few steps away from shopping and a short walk from the beach. Highly recommend Laura’s place for an Amalfi stay!

Quiet paradise in the heart of Amalfi

Laura’s apartment was the perfect base for our Amalfi adventure. It is located near the city center, but we never heard the hustle and bustle of the crowded streets. Super clean, comfortable, and charming. Things we loved: 1) private spaces for us and our teenage daughter 2) the apartment stayed cool, even with outside temps in the 90s (F) 3) Laura was a thoughtful and helpful host, offering recommendations and even arranging a driver for our early morning trip to the airport 4) serene courtyard with an ancient lemon tree 5) washing machine was a godsend Word of warning: Do not be fooled into dining at Bar Francesa in the Amalfi town square! Worst experience ever! Instead, visit Taverna Buonvicino, Dona Stella, or Ristorante L'Abside.

Bella vacanza ad Amalfi

Nonostante l'affollamento diurno della cittadina la casa permette di rilassarsi nel bel giardino/terrazzo. Ha piovuto e questo ha reso la presenza di due zone separate (cucina e zona notte) un poco disagevole..... Tuttavia e'un bel posto e ci tornerei.

Tranquil Spot

This is a great property right in the middle of Amalfi. We stayed for 3 nights and it worked well for our family of four. It is only 20 meters from the main road but you would never know it as it quiet despite being so close the the crowds. The property is a series of rooms around a small courtyard that is beautiful. We ate at the outdoor dining table every meal and it was shady and cool. Laura was a great host, very organised and her communication very clear. Highly recommended.

Stephen and his family were great guests. They were kind and polite, easy to communicate with them. The took great care of the apartment and the garden and left it very clean. We would love to host them again.
