Casita pacification Petite maison de luxe à quelques pas de Samara Beach

Ceci est une petite maison très unique et bien construit (2 chambres) sur notre propriété, qui comprend également une plus grande maison de 4 chambres avec piscine (Casa Pacifica). Cette maison a une cuisine complète avec une île d'une salle à manger, un salon complet avec plafond cathédrale, un pont avant, une terrasse couverte côté - et l'endroit tout entier est recouvert de tuiles et de bois des artisans locaux. Cette maison partage une allée circulaire et a sa propre aire de stationnement, entrée et espaces extérieurs. Il est séparé de la maison principale de la vie privée, mais peut également être loué avec la maison principale pour les grands groupes.

La propriété est directement entre les villes de Samara et Carrillo. Nous sommes à seulement 200 yards de Samara Beach, l'une des plus sûres plages de baignade en C. R .. Les villes sont pratique pour le shopping et les restaurants, mais assez loin pour un peu d'intimité. Nous ne disposons de 2 restaurants à côté (The Hideaway Hotel and Montelaguna Boutique Hotel) et il y a des dizaines de restaurants à Samara, qui est à seulement 10 minutes en voiture ou une minute 45 à pied sur la plage de la maison.

Samara est l'endroit parfait pour ceux qui aiment la plage et veut être immergé dans la culture du Costa Rica. Il est une destination idéale pour les familles car les plages sont idéales pour la baignade et la ville de Samara est sûr et décontracté. Vous pouvez y conduire soit de Liberia international ou de l'aéroport de San Jose sur les routes pavées. Deux plages sont à quelques minutes à pied et sont à la fois parfait pour la natation, car ils sont chauds toute l'année de l'eau et protégé par une barrière de corail. plage Samara se trouve à seulement 200 verges de notre porte d'entrée.

Beaucoup à voir: La zone est pleine de la nature. La faune locale comprend des singes, des iguanes, coatamundi, baleines, dauphins, crocodile et une infinité d'oiseaux.


Beaucoup à faire: Activités à Samara comprennent le kayak, excursions en bateau et zip visites de la canopée de la ligne. Ceci est également le surf comté et Samara est un bon endroit pour le débutant ou novice à surfer sur les vagues - ou experts peut diriger 30 minutes dans les deux sens sur la côte de surf de classe mondiale. Carrillo a une grande chute d'eau, vous pouvez obtenir à cheval. Les amateurs de pêche apprécieront la grande variété de poissons, y compris le coq-poissons, thon, wahoo, dauphin (mahi), le voilier et le marlin bleu. Great place to stay

1st time in Costa Rica and was a perfect place to stay. Quiet and out of town yet close to beach. Next time might stay at the big house.

Vacation

My husband and I had a great time at the casita. It was just a short walk from the beach and a few minutes from town. We enjoyed eating at the Hideaway Hotel next door. Everyone we met was super nice and accommodating. Leonardo from Samara Rentals set up everything that we needed from airport transportation to Covid testing. Thanks for a wonderful time in Costa Rica.

Wonderful location in beautiful Samara

This home served our needs well, located within walking distance of a small beach and a quick 5 min drive from town with a well appointed kitchen and good air conditioning. Our host was responsive when we needed his help unlocking the garage and arranging an at-home COVID test (which was seamless). Would mention a few minor things: that we had trouble with the hot water and couldn’t get the washer to work (could’ve been user error). A couple of the bikes also had flat tires. But overall a great stay and great host.

Wonderful Sámara Casita

Wonderful small house perfect for a couple or small family. It's on a property with a larger house as well, so you could have a family reunion here! The location is wonderful for a short walk to the beach. The owner made bicycles, boogie boards, snorkel gear, and kayaks available. We used the bikes a lot to get to the beach and even into town which is a shorter ride if you ride along the beach at low tide instead of the streets. It's clean, safe and beautiful! I would buy it if I could afford it!

Samara/Carrillo wonder

Had a wonderful week at the Casa Pacifica smaller house. The house itself was well-equipped and clean. The location was superb; a short walk to the Samara beach and a short bike ride to the Carrillo beach. I used one of the 4 bikes in the garage to get to the town of Samara via the beach each nite for dinner and the ride home later. I also carried one of the kayaks to the Samara beach a couple of times and paddled out to the island to explore. All-in-all, I had a wonderful time while I was there for a week.

Perfect Spot Near the Beach

This is a wonderful spot for a peaceful get away. We loved the quiet shady road that leads straight to the beach. It's really nice being next to the Hideaway Hotel. Easy to walk over to dinner. Also check out the Sunset Chill Lounge in Matapalo!

Great Stay!

My husband and two sons stayed at Casita Pacifica for a week in August. We had friends staying in Casa Pacifica so it was great to be able to stay all together but yet have our own privacy for that week. It was a gorgeous house-perfect for 4 people. Comfortable. Loved the kitchen area. Great location-minutes from town and the beaches. We rented a golf cart for the week for transportation, but it was very easy to call for a cab. The grounds of the property were beautiful. Would love to stay here again if we are able to get back to Samara!

Mixed Review

The location was beautiful and house was what was expected. Unfortunately, things got off to a bad start with the loft air conditioner going out the first day of our arrival soon to be followed by a serious sewage issue. Thankfully all was dealt with within a few days , and the owner was responsive in reimbursing is for the days the house was in usable. It would have been nice to have had the property manager check in with us at least once face to face during the first few days as issues arose.

I do apologize for the issues - and we did react as fast as we could (for rural Costa Rica). We had to install a new A/C unit and dig up the septic system - it was strange to have those 2 things happen at once (and I personally was in the house the week before, I can assure you that those problems just showed before your arrival). As you mentioned - we did refund the cost of the days that you could not use the house. We will work harder to make sure nothing like this happens again. It should not, it was a fluke.

Samara Paradise!

We were very happy with our stay at Casita Pacifico. The Casita was clean and had a terrific location between Playa Carrillo, our beach, and Samara. Roxy and Melissa met all our needs with a friendly smile. We would definitely stay there again.

The Perfect Place!

Casita Pacifica could not have been a more perfect choice for our vacation! We loved the tranquil location; it was quiet, yet just steps to the beach! I enjoyed listening to the howler monkeys as well as birdwatching from the patio. We thought it was the best part of the beach to view ever gorgeous sunsets. The home was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. We cooked a few meals there, and enjoyed relaxing on the shaded patio. We slept most comfortably with the air conditioning. Having a car made it easy to get to town, but we could just have easily walked the beach into town… But if you’re doing it at night, have a flashlight as it gets dark by 6 pm. We loved being able to beach home and jump in the waves, and it was just a short chant around the corner too Playa Carrillo where there was ample shade from palm trees well you enjoy the beach

Lovely Casita - Stayed mid-March 2019 during the dry season

My husband and I rented the Casita for 10 days, and it was sparkling clean (thank you, Roxie) and comfortable. The air conditioning in the main bedroom was quiet and a welcome relief for sleeping, since during the day it was beautiful & sunny, and 95 degrees every single day - barely cooling off to 80 degrees at night. We ate tons of fresh fruit, and explored many beaches, heading both north and south. We put our 4x4 rental to good use. Carrillo Beach is absolutely stunning with clear water and gentle rolling waves, and sunsets viewed from the south end of Samara Beach were beautiful. We fished, snorkeled and hiked, and went on the Outback 4X4 tour, with Christian as our guide - which was a blast! Be careful when reading previous reviews, which can be misleading. The Casita would be "very uncomfortable" for 2 couples, since the loft would never cool down enough for someone to sleep up there - at least during this time of year. And the single bathroom would be awkward. Also be forewarned that this property sits at the intersection of the Beach Road and the main road to Carrillo - Route 160. The traffic starts at 6AM, on the main road with loud trucks, motor bikes, etc., and on the Beach Road with fishermen, tourists, and hotel patrons (from around the corner and next door) traveling to the beach. The covered patio was not always a relaxing place to hang out due to the road noise. I'm guessing the renters of the Casa did not have this problem (pool in back yard). The Casita's outdoor shower is not private - it is open to the yard, main house and the hotel next door. Also, the items listed as available via the VRBO listing (kayaks, bikes) are only for the renters of the Casa, not the Casita - we were told this by David, property manager. Paul emailed a very helpful Information Packet which we referred to often - Thank you! We enjoyed our stay, and will likely travel to this part of Costa Rica again in the very near future.

Nice place but far from town

The casita is comfortable, very well equipped. It is close to the beach , head left for snorkeling. A little too far from town, 45 minute walk on beach, bus or cab for $6.00. WiFi and local phone did not work the last 6 days of our stay even when we reported the problem right away. Should have written directions on how to operate tv and lock.

Yes, we are about a 45 min walk (down the beach) to the Town of Samara - we have tried to be very clear about that, but I will check all of the postings. Very sorry about Wifi issues - you are right, they should have been fixed right away and I will look into that. I will make sure we improve TV and lock instructions. We strive to be the best rental around Samara!

Very nice small house - perfect for our overflow guests in big house

One family with teen joined our larger family gathering staying at big house. This was perfect, giving them their own space. Clean, right up street from south end of Samara. But our favorite is 10 minute walk to gorgeous and very quiet Carrillo beach. Wonderful hosts!

Spending Xmas week at Casita Pacifica and Casa Pacifica

We had our family get together for the Xmas holiday week at Casa Pacifica and Casita Pacifica. We were a group of 10 so we rented both places to have more flexibility in sleeping arrangements. Costa Rica is hot and it is nice to have the pool to cool off in, so given the choice I would recommend the casa. However it is a short 5 minute walk to a nice beach for swimming. The kitchen was well stocked for our Holiday dinner. We would definitely rent these places again and thus highly recommend them.

Excellent home-base for exploring the Sámara area.

The Casita Pacifica is a great home-base for exploring the Sámara area. The house provided plenary of room for our family of four. It has a great layout, with an open, spacious kitchen and nice dining area, and cool loft for the kids to sleep and hang out in. The house is nicely located within walking distance to the quieter east side of Sámara beach (perfect for catching the sunset every evening). It was a very short drive to the town of Sámara when going there for groceries or to shop or eat. It was also very close to Playa Carrillo, just a couple minutes drive away. We initially arrived to find the house not ready for us (one of the cleaning staff had a medical emergency in the middle of cleaning up the home and had to be taken to the clinic), however the property owner and their property manager communicated with us frequently and quickly worked to resolve the situation to minimize any inconvenience to us. They also credited us for our first night’s stay. Within a couple hours the house was all ready for us. We were satisfied with the outcome and the way the situation was handled. We were very happy with our accomodations here and would choose to stay here again if we come back to the Sámara area sometime in the future.

Great house - the pictures don't do it justice

This is an impressive house that is larger than it appears in the pictures. The kitchen is very large, it has a nice living and dining area and there is a lot of outdoor space (front porch, side terrace). It is just a few minutes walk from two different beaches incredible beaches, amazing views). The Samara area is awesome - really recommended for families or for people that want all of the beach activities, but want a more laid back family friendly environment.

Great house, centrally located!

We had a great 4 day mom/son retreat! Very accommodating. we got in late because we flew into the wrong airport (San Jose) and had a 5 hr drive, which was an experience in it itself. Should have used Liberia airport-1.5 hrs drive.The realtor met us at 8PM and got us settled. The house and all the bedrooms were very comfortable. The AC units in the master and the upstairs loft with the ceiling fans were enough to cool the whole house. The only setback was the water pressure in the kitchen, which was a trickle. Our stay ended before we could report it, but apparently it was fixable. Good pressure in the bathroom and shower. Walking distance to Samara beach (5 mins) and Carillo beach (10-15 mins off main hwy). The beach town of Samara is a 5 min drive. Kayaking/snorkeling and ziplining was very close and convenient. Because the main house (Casa Pacifica) was not rented, we were able to use the swimming pool. That was great! We could hear the howlers and saw lots of Iguana. Having the charcoal grill and the side patio added a very relaxing time for mother and son to reacquaint. Thank you for a clean, comfortably furnished, retreat!

House exactly as described, easy walk to the beach.

A nice comfortable place for a couple. We spent 4 weeks and loved the location. Short easy walk down to the beach. This is the far side of the beach from the town of Samara so a lot of the time we had the beach to ourselves. Perfect area to watch the sunset, which gets blocked by a hill on the Samara side of the beach. House is well set up and comfortable. You do share the property with the larger house so there are people coming and going which wasn't an issue with us. A/C in the bedroom worked great, after we came in for the evening we ran the A/C for the upstairs loft with the drapes open for a couple of hours and it did a pretty good job of keeping the living room comfortable also. The property managers did a good job getting us settled in. Cleaning service once a week worked out just fine for us. Samara area has issues with water system shutting down sometimes and it happened once and they had a water truck out to get the holding tank topped of promptly. During our month stay we had electricity go out a couple of times, no longer than 30 minutes. When that happens the water shuts off also. We started keeping a small trash can in the shower full of water so we could rinse off or flush the toilet if that happened at the wrong moment. Only suggestions for improvements would be a fan over the kitchen table, wire the living room fan so you can turn the lights off and let the fan run and add to the kitchen utensils such as additional food storage containers and silverware. We spent a month and were very happy with the house.

Love This House

This is a great area and a great house. For the cost of a single room in the hotel next door you have 2 bedrooms (well, 1 bedroom and a loft), a big kitchen and living room and lots of covered outdoor space. I can't say enough about the Samara and Carrillo towns and beaches - and this house is right on the edge of both of beaches.

We are a family that started with a Canadian couple that moved to the USA (North Carolina) and added 3 adventurous kids. We plan to retire someday to Costa Rica. We built our property in CR for us to move to eventually - and in the meantime we are renting it year round. We love our staff in Costa Rica and we visit as much as possible.

The property is directly between the towns of Samara and Carrillo. We are only 200 yards from Samara Beach, one of the safest swimming beaches in C.R.. Towns are convenient for shopping and restaurants, but far enough for some privacy.
