Chalet accueillant et atelier d'artiste dans le vieux quartier historique de North End

Des fleurs fraîches vous accueilleront et l'art local orne les murs de ce magnifique cottage de belle-mère. Construit en 1900, le chalet a été récemment mis à jour, conservant le charme d'une vieille maison, tout en offrant des commodités modernes pour plus de commodité. Le nouveau matelas queen de haute qualité dans la chambre offre une nuit de sommeil confortable sur des draps doux. Le nouveau canapé-lit a également un matelas épais amélioré pour les invités supplémentaires. Un matelas gonflable peut accueillir votre 5ème voyageur ou adolescent qui refuse de partager un lit avec son frère ou sa sœur! Le chalet a une laveuse et une sécheuse, particulièrement pratique pour ceux qui ont été sur la route pendant un certain temps ou qui jouent vraiment fort! La cuisine comprend un nouveau lave-vaisselle, un four micro-ondes et une nouvelle cuisinière à gaz pour les repas. Du café torréfié localement pour la cafetière est un avantage! Douche ou trempage dans la baignoire sur pattes antique. Près de l'hôpital principal de Penrose et du Colorado College, et une belle promenade à pied ou à vélo dans le centre-ville. En plus d'être un lieu de séjour accueillant et relaxant, ce chalet dispose également d'un atelier d'artiste attenant. Si vous avez le temps pendant votre séjour, vous pouvez même réserver un cours pour jouer avec l'ancien médium des encaustiques, la fusion et la fusion des pigments et de la cire d'abeille! Le chalet est niché derrière l'ancienne résidence construite en 1895, tout en offrant une intimité parmi les beaux jardins et le coin salon dont vous pourrez profiter. Stationnement hors rue.

The cottage was a perfect location for a little get together with my old college roommate! Lori was a very responsive and accommodating host. A beautiful little cottage!

We had a wonderful time hiking and exploring Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak, and the nearby red rocks. It was always so refreshing to come "home" to a quiet cottage and relax on the patio or soak in the large tub. We so enjoyed our visit. The cottage was everything we hoped for and more!

Artful decor & comfy

The host was very attentive and making sure our arrival went smoothly. I felt like we were stepping into a storybook cottage. The kitchen was stocked with just enough of everything to cook for our cadet and enjoy meals together. Great neighborhood! Close to everything we needed.

Beautiful

We stayed here for our elopement in Colorado. It was a beautiful place to stay. The pictures did not do it justice. Fresh flowers were a great beautiful touch. The grounds were also beautiful. Such a nice, sweet little cottage that worked perfect for us. The host was very wonderful as well.

Enchanting Cottage from 1900

The neighborhood, host and accommodations are completely enchanting. They retained the history, while providing all the amenities one needs. Special touches such as close by gardens and floral touches were super. Only wish we had taken more time in CS. A real highlight in our travels! DF and JD 🤗🦋🙏

Would definitely stay here again!

The good karma cottage was a great home base for exploring Colorado springs. It's so close to everything, and the neighborhood is amazing! The house was super clean, had spaces on the front porch and in back to sit outside and just enjoy the fresh air. The house itself is super cute and was perfect for the two of us. The bed was really comfortable as well! The off Street Parking in back right by the cottage was a huge plus as well. Lori was great, super nice, and always available for any questions we had. I highly recommend you try her place out!

Beautiful!

We just returned from a great stay in Lori's cottage. Charming, comfortable, very clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated cottage in the historic Old North End close to all that Colorado Springs has to offer. We enjoyed the privacy, back porch surrounded by "zen" like landscaping, artwork throughout the house and inspirational quotes in Lori's work shop. Lori was very nice and even offered my son (whom we dropped off at college) to stop by her house if he needs anything, or just wants to hang out with Enzo the dog. Great experience and her kindness is very appreciated.

The perfect spot

Visiting our son at Colorado College - this was perfectly situated for easy access to the school, town, Garden of the Gods and more. A delightful home with lovely outdoor space in a quiet neighborhood. Lori was super responsive. Will stay again if the opportunity presents itself.

Fantastic place to stay!

This is a quaint carriage house in a beautiful neighborhood. Our host went above and beyond, even having the pull/out sofa made up for us due to our late arrival. The garden surrounding the property was gorgeous and we had a back porch to sit on to enjoy the crisp mountain air. We will work to stay here every time we visit Colorado Springs.

Honeymoon Getaway

My husband and I needed a break from our busy lives and The Good Karma Cottage was the perfect getaway. The garden was gorgeous and the house well kept and cozy. The proximity of the cottage to the main house was a little closer than we were prepared for but we were still left with plenty of privacy and with the location of the cottage so close to everything else it was the ideal place to stay! The linens were soft and gorgeous and everything about the quaint cottage was homey. We do wish there were a few more mirrors, perhaps a full length one just for getting ready purposes. Other than that everything was perfect! We really enjoyed our stay here!

Fun Little Spot

This little cottage was perfect. We loved the vintage and antique vibe and it felt secluded, tucked away in a back yard. On the other hand, it was convenient to run downtown for supper or entertainment. Lori was thoughtful and sweet. We are thankful for our time in this cottage!

Loved my stay!

My husband and I went to Colorado for our 25th wedding anniversary and the location was absolutely perfect! Lori‘s place was the perfect size for us. There’s a patio area that we ended up using more than we expected since the weather was so nice. Lori is very friendly and she has the sweetest dog that comes to visit you. I would recommend this location for sure!

Perfect getaway

This was the perfect getaway for our short trip to Colorado Springs. It is close enough to all the attractions without being too close. It was quiet and peaceful and well equipped with everything we needed.

Loved Old North End

We truly enjoyed our stay here, and we loved the location and ambiance of the entire area. We were able to walk to a variety of restaurants (20-25 min walk) or it was a short drive (5-10 min) to downtown Colorado Springs and surrounding area. The cottage was lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and Lori was a great host. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Super cute!

My favorite thing about this cottage was the outdoor area. It’s full of beautiful plants and flowers. The front porch is just the right place to relax with a glass of wine and talk about the day. The location can’t be beat. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Overall, the cottage is lovely and the owner is great. The only negative for me was the cookware and utensils. But then again we love to chef it up and are used to the best. We managed though and would recommend this cottage.

I love the Old North End neighborhood! It has a small town feel, where people walk their dogs, stroll and ride bikes with their children and people are so friendly! I also love my home and the gardens, it really is a peaceful retreat. I feel fortunate to also have my art studio on my property, can't beat the commute when inspiration calls!

The Old North End is truly one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in this city! The large tree lined streets and the variety of architectural styles make walking in the neighborhood a real delight. It is a very friendly and safe place to live, a real caring community. I love being minutes away from the downtown area and the westside, with so many beautiful areas to play in and explore, like the Garden of the Gods and Red Rocks open space.
