Fantastic Vacation Home

We loved staying at Joe's place at the Beach Cove in Bethany. It was beautiful, clean, and had the best view of the bay. Joe was very responsive wirh any issues we had and his place is great for families!

Family Fun

Thank you for the wonderful week at the beach. The condo has terrific views and plenty of rooms for a large family gathering. A 5 minute walk leads to an uncrowded beach. Joe provided lots of beach equipment for us to use and responded quickly to any questions that we had. The apartment was clean, well-stocked and roomy.

Great beach spot!

This beautiful property has everything a family with teens needs. There are multiple decks with seating, hangout areas, a short walk to the beach, a fishing pier and a pool. The beach equipment provided is icing on the cake! It’s so nice not to haul that to the shore. At home there are multiple dining arrangements and everything you need to cook dinner. The screened in porch is a lovely space to escape to. The house is on a quiet stretch of Highway 1 close to Bethany Beach. Joe is easy to communicate with and provides a seamless check in process.

Family Reunion

Highly recommend for any family beach trip. Wonderful property both well appointed and maintained. Our group of 11, had a great family vacation/reunion at Joe’s. We were 6 adults and 5 kids ranging from 2-12. There was something for everyone. Joe’s place was perfectly appointed with lots of extras- chairs, beach wagon and even a boogey board, lots of space and even the decks were well furnished. The beach was across the street with easy access and not crowded. We also enjoy deep sea fishing from the nearby marina. The restaurant across the street was also a plus. Thanks for a great week Joe.

Bayside Beauty

This townhouse was gorgeous. 5 bedrooms and plenty of common areas for our family of ten. This house offered everything we needed for our 7 night stay. It was just as advertised. I would highly recommend it for any large family. Short walk to the beach.

Relaxing family vacation

Our family (7 adults and 1 infant) had a wonderful stay at Joe’s home. The property is comfortable, spacious, and clean. Everyone enjoyed their own balconies. Joe is a great host and is both easy to communicate with and accommodating. The condo community is family friendly. Crossing Coastal Highway 1 to get to the beach was a bit frightening, as the cars go fast and most do not yield to pedestrians. However, there are breaks in traffic to make it across and it did not stop us from enjoying the gorgeous and quiet beach every single day.

Fantastic Experience and Even Better Memory

This was my first booking through vrbo and it could not have gone better. The owner of the house made it easy, with great communication, and provided all the information needed in the easiest of manners. And...the house was amazing! Perfect

This place was perfect! It had everything one would want in a vacation home. It was large enough for everyone to have their own space (3 separate families), it was walkable distance to the beach and it had a pool that was just the right size. The place was clean and had a stocked kitchen. Joe was extremely accommodating and communicated with me throughout the stay which made check in and check out very simple. I will definitely be booking this place again!

Very nice; not perfect.

The decor was very nice. Beautiful view from top floor, but to call it an "ocean view" is a stretch -you can get a glimpse of it from a balcony. The kitchen, dining, and living rooms are on the top floor. Schlepping groceries up there is not easy. "Steps to the beach" makes it sound easier than it is for some of us. The sounds you hear are traffic sounds from the highway, not ocean. Info regarding DE State Park and local restaurants etc would be very helpful. Kitchen was well-equipped.

Beautiful Bethany Vacation

Not sure which were more beautiful the home & it’s furnishings or the amazing views from the 5 balconies, & the screened-in porch. We could see the Indian River bridge, the ocean & breathtaking bay views!

My family and I had a wonderful time! The property has everything you need. It's beautifully decorated and very clean. The kids had a great time on the pier and in the pool. It's just a short walk to the ocean.

Lovely townhouse near the beach

We had a lovely week at this comfortable townhouse. Communication with the owners and check in was very easy. The property is located right on the bay with a private pier for fishing, launching Kayaks or watching the sunsets. It is a short walk across the highway and over a boardwalk to access to the beach. The townhouse community also has a small dipping pool. It is about a mile up the road from a great park with running and biking trails. The property itself was nicely furnished and very clean. It has a kitchen full of everything you need to make meals at home. The views of the bay are beautiful from all 3 decks. We watched the sunsets and thunderstorms from the decks on the courtyard side of the building. The owners had plenty of beach chairs and a cart available for use. It was a quick drive to downtown Bethany and to the grocery and liquor stores on Fred Hudson Drive. I would recommend this property for families with older children who can manage stairs (there are a lot of them in this 4 floor place!) and who can scamper across the highway. We had a great, relaxing week there!

Great location!

We had a great stay. The house was fully loaded and plenty of space. The beach was a short walk across the road. There were plenty of beach chairs for everyone, wagon, and cart. The owner was very quick to respond.

Great place, great location, tons of space

We had a great stay. The townhouse is huge and very well equipped for cooking, hanging out, and the beach. Easy beach access - very short walk. There was tons of room for all of us to spread out, and the top floor (kitchen/dining/living room) was great when we were all together. Great views from the many balconies. Joe was really helpful throughout and incredibly quick to respond.

Beautiful unit in a perfect location!!

Accommodations were first class -- just a perfect place to spend a family vacation. The view of the bay was relaxing especially in the morning with that first cup of coffee. Working with the owners was also a great experience -- very professional. We would like to come back!!

Awesome beach home!

Our family truly enjoyed this beautiful home. With a fully-stocked kitchen, comfy beds and enough bathrooms for all, our family went our separate ways at the end of the week, still loving each other! 🙂 The home is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There is a balcony from each room, with fabulous views! The owners were so kind and answered any question we had immediately. We will definitely make plans to return. Thank you!
