Utterly lovely cottage/terrace in a quiet sidestreet close to the centre of Keswick with large reserved car space. Great kitchen and bathrooms, comfy bed, big hi-def TV, welcoming gas fire, plenty of books & maps. The facilities and layout were just perfect for us, so practical and comfortable, down to a dedicated space for coats and muddy boots. We felt at home. The only minus was the partly transparent bathroom doors, which allow full views of the goings-on inside, but we developed a system. :) One of our best stays, we were genuinely sad to leave. Hope to return in summer so we can use the patio!

Really good location in Keswick for shops, pubs and restaurants.

Really good location in Keswick for shops, pubs and restaurants. Also ideal for local walks on the fells and around the Lake. Thoughtfully furnished and everything you need in the kitchen. The bathroom does get very damp when using the shower even with the extractor fan on so there was some evidence of mould on the walls in the room. Other than this the bathroom was clean. The lock on the back kitchen door was a bit difficult to use unless you had the key in exactly the right place. I would book this cottage again another time. The cottage is ideally situated minutes away from the centre of Keswick and with the benefit of its own spacious parking space. You have everything you need - comfy beds, wi-fi, very efficient central heating/hot water etc. The cottage was spotless when we arrived. We spent a really enjoyable week here and wouldn't hesitate to go back here when we visit Keswick next.

A well-thought out conversion providing a very comfortable and well-equipped cottage in an excellent location. The second WC is a definite advantage and the parking space is a big plus in that area of Keswick. While the cottage sleeps four, the kitchen could well be somewhat tight for four adults. The back door lock was temperamental at times, which I believe is an outstanding issue.

A very good base for exploring the northern lakes.

A very good base for exploring the northern lakes. A 5 minute walk to the middle of Keswick and with a very valuable parking space. The cottage has all you need for a holiday break and is in very good condition. A good selection of local maps and guides, together with a range of books and videos should you get the worst of the Lakes weather. All in all a great break.

Lovely, cosy cottage with parking space outside.

Lovely, cosy cottage with parking space outside. Well equipped especially the kitchen and very comfy beds. Easy to walk into the town and to go shopping and eat - excellent location.
