Ce cottage offre une vue imprenable sur Loughrigg et le vieil homme de Coniston. Vous entrez dans le salon chaleureux, il a un aspect sud-ouest. La baie vitrée offre une vue spectaculaire et une table à manger pour six personnes. Il est à 2 minutes à pied du centre-ville d'Ambleside: inutile de prendre la voiture. Prenez un apéritif à l'extérieur sur le banc de jardin et descendez dans l'un des nombreux restaurants, cafés et bars situés à proximité. Il y a une cuisine bien équipée de style cuisine, 3 chambres à coucher, une salle de bain moderne avec douche et WC, chauffage central et foyer au feu. We had such a lovely stay with our young family at this charming cottage. The view was wonderful and the property was clean, comfortable and in a very convenient location, just a short walk into the town, the bus stops and the water front. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of books and games in the living room. The host was always quick and helpful in responding to our messages. Already looking forward to staying again!

No problems with parking and allocated space outside of property. Wi-fi reliable although we were mostly out and about.Property clean throughout. Best feature was the location for us. Cottage with a view

The lovely view from the lounge/diner makes the property, which was very well equipped and very well located in relation to the village centre and its many restaurants and shops. Our stay was enhanced by some really exceptional weather.

Great Cottage

Great base for the Southern Lakes

Such a comfortable place to stay, within walking distance of the many pubs and restaurants in Ambleside. And on the doorstep of so many great walks. Fantastic views and heaps of games and DVDs in case of a rainy day!

Lovely property in great location

We had a fantastic stay in Ambleside, largely due to the location of this property. A 5 minute walk from the centre of town and lots of restaurants and pubs but far enough away from the centre to be private. Amazing views. A little difficult to find in the first place but once we located it, all was good! Thank you!

Excellent Location

Fantastic cosy base for our short stay. Great view, feels like a world away from civilisation but less than a five minute walk to Ambleside town centre. Five minutes in the opposite direction and we were onto the fells. Our host Linda was very helpful throughout.

February Half Term in Ambleside

We had a great week, the house has masses going for it, the view is great, it’s really convenient to pop into Ambleside but far enough away so it’s quiet. The beds are comfy, the house is warm and inviting, it has pretty much everything you need to be a home away from home. Thankyou

Lots of family & friends have been able to enjoy holidays here, we've spent many hours around the dinner table sharing special times and all eagerly await a return invitation.
