Cette annexe individuelle pour couples se situe au bord de la rivière Colombe près de Hartington, un emplacement idéal pour explorer le parc national .. Rez-de-chaussée:
La propriété a le chauffage central au fuel et comprend:
Cuisine / salle à manger: Avec cuisinière électrique, micro-ondes, réfrigérateur et congélateur.
Salle de douche: avec douche et WC .. Premier étage:
Salon: avec télévision TNT 42 pouces, lecteur DVD et fen��tre Velux.
Chambre 1: avec lit king size et fenêtre Velux. . Tout électrique, draps et serviettes inclus. Wifi. . Espace salon avec des meubles. Jardin commun avec pelouse et terrasse. UN BARBECUE. Parking (1 voiture). Ne pas fumer. NB: rivière non clôturée dans le jardin. Pas d'enfants de moins de 12 ans. . Située au bord d'une rivière et entourée par la campagne du Peak District, cette annexe en pierre constitue un havre de paix à seulement 800 mètres du village animé et populaire de Hartington. Situés à côté de la maison du propriétaire, qui était autrefois le moulin à maïs local, les magnifiques jardins qui entourent la propriété abritent toujours la roue du moulin restaurée et offrent également la possibilité de pêcher. Hartington possède de nombreux équipements locaux, notamment des pubs, des cafés, un magasin de village bien achalandé et même un célèbre fromager. Une région prisée des amateurs de plein air aurait quelques-unes des meilleures promenades à pied et à vélo d'Angleterre, ainsi que des possibilités de vol libre et d'escalade. Au cœur du parc national, une demi-heure de route vous conduira aux magnifiques demeures historiques de Chatsworth et de Haddon Hall, ainsi qu’à la célèbre ville commerçante de Bakewell. Matlock, avec son téléphérique menant aux hauteurs d’Abraham, Ashbourne, Buxton et le fascinant village de Eyam, ravagé par la peste, se trouvent également à moins de 30 minutes, tout comme le premier parc à thème du Royaume-Uni, Alton Towers.

Lovely cottage and Mark was a great host, there if we needed him but leaving us to it. The weather was against us during our stay, but the cottage was super cosy in the rain, and listening to the sound of the River Dove gently flowing past as we drifted to sleep was a real treat.

Hartington stay

The stay was excellent and the property was ideal for our stay. The only problem was that VRBO didn't give us check in details until a few hours before the start, despite contacting them days in advance.

A wonderful stay in Old Mill Hartington Annexe

Our stay started with an warm welcome from Jacqui.The appartment is very nice, plenty space for two.We had absolutely all the equipments we needed and more.It's so lovely to see that every details have been taken in account. We had beverages in the fridge, bread, butter and plenty of goodies. So nice!The small garden is very pretty, a lot of birds to watch and the place is quiet and well located near Hartington to find supplies we could need. A lot of walks can be done in the area.We can only recommend these place.

Absolutely stunning property and surrounding area. Fab place with plenty of walks straight from your doorstep. Hartington village is a short walk away with friendly shops and pub, which does Fab meals. The property was super clean and the owners covered all Covid-19 requirements, even installing a hand sanitiser. Definitely recommend for those who fancy an escape From city life. We had an amazing time in this beautiful area of the Peak District. The owners were friendly and helpful and the cottage and grounds were beautiful and so relaxing. The fishing and cycle trails in the area were fabulous. We will definitely return one day.

This is a lovely cottage in a very peaceful rural location.

This is a lovely cottage in a very peaceful rural location. Nothing close by and to get to the village of Hartington you have to walk approx. 400 yards on a country road with no footpath. The owners are lovely and very welcoming but not intrusive. The cottage was spotless and everything you need for a self catering holiday, along with some goodies. The only negative for me was the layout of the rooms. On the ground floor was the bathroom and kitchen, with the bedroom and lounge upstairs. If you needed the bathroom in the night you had to go downstairs and we were taking hot drinks up to the lounge. However, this didn't spoil our enjoyment of the cottage, and is just a personal view and something you can live with for a few days.
