Cottage d'époque unique à Dublin 4 docklands

Cottage d'époque rénové avec un intérieur calme, confortable et douillet. Située dans les docks de Dublin, où des grues géantes en activité dominent le paysage marin. Le chalet a été restauré avec les conseils d'un expert en architecture et exécuté par des artisans qualifiés de Dublin. Il est meublé avec des pièces victoriennes originales. Il se trouve à proximité du Great South Wall, l'une des plus belles promenades marines de la côte est, et de Sandymount Strand, qui figure dans «Ulysses» de Joyce.
Le chalet a une superficie de 900 pieds carrés. Il y a deux chambres doubles au premier étage. Le rez-de-chaussée comprend un salon / salle à manger avec cheminée, un sol en pin d'origine et une belle bibliothèque vitrée victorienne contenant de la littérature irlandaise et internationale, un système audio discret Bose et une télévision. Le hall d'entrée et la salle de bain ont un sol en mosaïque. Il y a une nouvelle cuisine dans la propriété.
Les prix incluent toutes les charges. Cottage a WiFi et un espace de stationnement désigné.

Absolutely charming place. Both the apartment itself and the location - could not have asked for a better place. The cottage is so welcoming and cozy, near a gorgeous little park and a lively yet quiet part of Dublin- a lovely place to come home after exploring the busy downtown Dublin streets. If you are looking for a home away from home in Dublin, I could not recommend this place more!

A nice little oasis in an industrial/residental area. Near a bus stop, so getting into town is not difficult. The shipyard across the street does work all night, but if you are a deep sleeper it isn't an issue.

The Coastguard Station apartment is amazing! We loved that it's located outside the hub bub of Dublin. Just a short walk (10 mins) through beautiful Ringsend Park filled with families, a short wait at the bus stop and we were in Dublin city center in less than 15 mins. We only used a taxi to get to apartment from airport, then used public transport.The apartment had everything we needed. Loved the decor and the eclectic artwork, the books!! Beds were comfy and we liked having the space on the ground floor to relax. The kitchen was well stocked although we didn't use it much.The best meal we had during our entire Dublin stay was at the Oarsman Pub in Ringsend. We were there on Friday night and it was great fun. Filled with locals enjoying their start to the weekend. The clerks at the Tesco Express (groceries, etc) in town were so helpful. Being across from the docks was very interesting. We were fascinated by the process of loading and unloading the cargo containers. Great view from the bedroom window. The location away from Dublin might not be for everyone, but we loved it. Got us away from the touristy town center and yet easy to get there and back. It gave us a quiet place to unwind after our long flight and before the start of our Vagabond 8 day tour. Billy, the host, is an absolute gem.Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay in this house full of character. The location is great for reaching central Dublin but you still feel removed from the hustle and bustle. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with all we needed to cook. Billy was a fantastic host and was really helpful when we required a late check out.

It was just as described but also had a super awesome book collection! If you stay here, consider walking out to the lighthouse. It took us a bit to figure out the heat since there is an on/off switch to the whole setup, but that is something most people probably would have figured out quicker than we did. It was a beautiful place, and walkable to bus and train which we used instead of driving. The host was very responsive as well. We would love to visit again!
