I grew up in the North East in a small mining community near Thornaby (is that right?). The greatest event of the year for myself, my brother and sister was the annual trip to St Ives for our summer holiday, despite the long drive and the constant “Dad are we nearly there yet”, the first view of the beautiful bay as you come into the town never failed to take our breath away and fill us with excitement for the days ahead. Those holidays gave me such fond memories, I wanted to re-create the experience for my son and grandson, so in 2015 I purchased the three cottages which were in a near derelict condition with the vision of creating some wonderful holiday cottages where the magic could be shared not only with friends and family but also our valued guests. Today we still come to St Ives for our Summer holiday and what a joy it is to see my mother and father spending time on the beach with their children, grandchildren and 5 year old great grandson. The property has been renovated to the highest of standards by local craftsmen who incorporated local timber and slate into the re-build. The interior has been fitted and decorated with the highest quality furnishing and fixtures giving a very luxurious feel in the living spaces. There are unique touches throughout the property which gives it a quirky feel that makes you smile.
