Grand studio très lumineux, équipé de tout le confort. L'appartement est situé dans un cadre élégant avec une vue magnifique sur la ville. Très central, 2-3 minutes à pied de la Piazza Duomo.
Le bâtiment d'environ 45 mètres carrés est situé à deux minutes à pied de la Piazza Duomo, dans le centre historique, au sixième étage d'un élégant bâtiment (avec deux ascenseurs modernes) conçu par le célèbre architecte Emilio Lancia; Exposant de "Rationalisme", l'arch. Emilio Lancia a toujours essayé de réconcilier les éléments rationnels avec les éléments traditionnels et monumentaux, en vue de créer un caractère durable de l’architecture.
Ancien appartement de deux pièces utilisé comme bureau pour la vente de montres de luxe, il s’agit aujourd’hui d’un studio très lumineux et spacieux. L’appartement a en fait été récemment rénové pour mettre en valeur l’ensemble du mur vitré qui surplombe la ville, permettant ainsi de vivre dans un seul et même grand environnement meublé, avec des meubles de la fin du XXe siècle avec une cuisine moderne et super mesurer.
L'environnement est très calme malgré le fait qu'il se trouve à 50 mètres de la Piazza Duomo. Exclusif et lumineux, l'appartement est équipé de panneaux radiants, climatisation, lave-linge séchant, lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, bouilloire, machine à café Nespresso, sèche-cheveux, fer à repasser, réfrigérateur, congélateur et Smart TV.
Des quatre fenêtres donnant sur Milan et ses toits, on peut clairement distinguer l'église de San Alessandro, les clochers des églises de San Lorenzo, San Giorgio et Sant'Eustorgio.
L'appartement se prête également à être utilisé comme support pour le bureau ou pour un rendez-vous d'affaires.
De l’usage prévu ant��rieur, on retient la porte de sécurité pleine et deux portes intérieures supplémentaires en verre pare-balles.

Advertisement was a bit misleading... the view is nice but not the Milan Duomo which is a 6 min walk away. The location was handy to metro and many sites which is why we picked it. The area was busy and a bit sketchy but we felt safe enough as there are gates locked at 7pm to your building. You get one set of three keys needed to get in/out so that's a bit inconvenient making us stick together. The apartment was basic and windows were nice as we needed to open them to get fresh air as the AC didn't work. We ended up using the batteries from that remote for the TV as it didn't have any. Note this is not a smart tv so we were stuck watching Italian cable, but found some english movies. We reported some of the items our first night to the BnB Butler (whatsapp) but never received a response. Overall we made the place work for a few days and it ended up being an okay basic stay, but we would not stay here again.

Some things could be better

The place is a little tricky to find. Best to use What’s App when communicating with the person who will meet you there to give you keys. The bed was not at all comfortable. The mattress is very thin and there is nothing added to make it comfortable. The furniture is not in good shape. The place could use some sprucing up and deep cleaning. The bath towels were very bad. They were discolored and rougher than burlap. With a little care and attention, it could be lovely a lovely space

Overall the property was clean. Well maintained for the most part. Location was a bit hard to locate and in a questionable location/part of Milan. However property is gated from 8pm to 8am and you can only enter the community with a key you are given. During daytime hours property is monitored by the doorman. The property doorman was the main reason we gave the stay a overall score of 4. He personally deserves a 5 star rating as he was very kind and helpful at all times. The property manager seemed very nice and communicated well via messaging. However the washer/dryer in unit was broken and we had no ability to do laundry and it was a big reason we chose to stay at this unit. Property manager was notified about washer/dryer; but washer could not be fixed or replaced before we left so we had to pay a laundry service $100 to take our laundry and wash/dry and return to us 24 hrs later. There were no self service laundromats less than 4.0km from this unit. Minimum 40 minute walk. The bed was very uncomfortable.Made it hard to sleep. The towels were very abrasive, management should make sure the bath linens are much fresher feeling and comfortable. Would consider staying again if bed is replaced and had access to better bath linens and laundry.

Dear Angela, First of all, thanks for your time in writing this review and for your stay. The position of Unione is the very city center, almost Piazza Duomo, for many this can be quite practicle to visit the center of Milan and for doing some quality shopping. We agree that Sanjay, the doorman, is a real treasure, thanks for pointing it out. We are very very sorry about the laundry machine. We bought a new one after the old broke down while you were there, we do apologize for this inconvenience. It is a pity that you didn’t take advantage of Sanjay’s offer to make the laundry downstairs. As for the bed, nobody remarked so far about it being uncomfortable. The bath linens have good quality but, probably, in order to avoid the impression you had, we will try to treat them differently in the drying process….that might be the issue. Again, thanks for your stay. Best wishes.

DREAM location, TERRIBLE amenities

PROS: AMAZING location, 24 hr Butler service, beautiful lighting, close to Cathedral and lots of shopping, good, places & things to do. Wonderful view. Super great, amazing location. CONS: Not a King bed, it's a Queen. A/C barely gets cold and we had it set at 17. Warning - BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS!!!! Every towel, washcloth, etc was 100x more coarser than any SAND PAPER. Zero exaggeration. The towels there can stand vertically on their own. It’s bad.. WE HAD TO GO OUT and BUY OUR OWN TOWELS. Yes they were THAT terrible. STIFF AND DISGUSTING. Dirty dishes with crusted food in the dishwasher. ONE roll of toilet paper for 2 women for 3 days. Called the Butler - nothing. Butler advised a manager was coming up to see & discuss. That, or any, manager never showed up. NOT WORTH the Euros we paid for 2 nights. And it was a lot. BUYER BEWARE! You’re getting taken for the view, and it’s not even the Milan Cathedral. *Everything was blamed on the so called maid service. Manager nor Butler ever came to resolve any issues.

Great location.

Nice, very clean apartment in a perfect location with beautiful view out the expansive windows. It was somewhat hard to find upon arrival. The entrance is inside a little shopping area. Comfortable beds, great shower. Well stocked (more coffee pods & bathroom tissue were provided upon request.) We did not have control of HVAC, so had to open windows. It is Italy -- no screens & a few mosquitoes. Communication before, during, and after was exceptional. Many thanks to Ginevra who arranged airport transportation, gave touring suggestions, and suggested wonderful restaurants.

Great location in Milan center

This is ideal for people who want to be close to to the activity and sites, and the appartment is still very quiet at night and in the morning. Well furnished. - everything you need for a short stay.
