Lower Treglyn, near St Minver, Cornwall

This property was 1st class. We went as a family of 5 which included parents, grandparents and a 1 year old baby. The property was immaculate and would highly recommend it. We shall be returning.

This is a great place for multi-generational groups and we do have frequent returners. Our cleaning team are excellent and this is a top priority for us. We are so glad when we hear that our guests can confirm this.

Lovely rural property

This is a well equipped property ideal for 6 people. It was more rural that we realised and you definitely need a car to get anywhere. There is a short walk you can do from the rear of the property but as the local roads do not have paths you cannot walk to any local shops and amenities. Having said this it was very quiet and relaxing and we loved the local area especially Rock, Padstow, Port Isaac and Newquay. Lots to do and see and great places to explore and eat. With the added bonus of seeing the Fishermen Friends live on the Platt on Friday night a great end to a sunny and fun week in beautiful Cornwall!

We have stayed in Cornwall many times, Gardenia is a perfect location for exploring North Cornwall, you have fantastic beaches only a stones throw away and fantastic places to eat in Rock and Padstow. Gardenia is really well presented, spotlessly clean with all the amenities you would need. The bedrooms were comfy and clean, bathrooms spotless.The living spaces and kitchen were great to relax and eat together and had everything you need to cook and wind down on an evening.The outside garden was really tranquil with good views out to the countryside. The electric car charger was super useful for us and made travelling super easy. Jean was really helpful and communication was great. We hope to come back again soon.

Fabulous holiday

Great property the hosts have a beautiful house and the most comfy beds . We will recommend it to all our friends. The location is secluded and tranquil and so relaxing but equally a stones throw from all the best beaches and restaurants.

Cornwall Trip

The property was all that we expected from the perspective of presentation and location. In very good condition and the views across open countryside were lovely and enhanced by the woodland immediately next to the house. Very peaceful and quiet and the dawn chorus we experienced was breath-takingly captivating. We had no issues getting to the property from an access perspective and the Welcoming Pack was very much appreciated.. The owners of adjacent units that we met were very friendly and confirmed our view of the property and its ambience The only minor point of negativity worth raising was the fact that only one shower at a time could be used due to hot water issues. We were able to work round it providing we kept ourselves aware of the status.

Thanks for your review, John. I'm sorry that you were inconvenienced by the shower problems. I think they could have been due to problems with the boiler and the tank, which we had extensively serviced and repaired at the beginning of July, with new expansions vessels in both. Kind regards, Jean

Holiday cottage near Polzeath

Great accommodation-perfect for our family of 4. Garden and beautiful view was a bonus. Kitchen was very well equipped and we used the BBQ too for evening meals on the patio looking over the fields. Location felt remote but was short drive to coast and Wadebridge for supermarkets and access to the Camel cycle trail. Polzeath is fantastic for bodyboarding and we enjoyed a good lunch at the Cracking Crab overlooking the bay. Considering the different nature of holidays this year the owners have gone to a lot of trouble to follow Covid safety guidelines and the cottage was throughly cleaned and very well presented. We would definitely go back. Thank you!

Perfect Retreat

Absolutley fantastic holiday cottage. It had everything we could have wished for. Lovely fenced garden ideal for the dog with lovely views. Very clean and well equiped. Great coms with the owners. Within easy reach of local town. Highly recommend.

Fantastic family holiday

We had a wonderful stay, great property and great location. Everything that could be needed for a family stay, the travel cot was fantastic we are going to purchase one for home!

Wonderful

We couldn’t fault the property, superb facilities, great location, and even a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. Would recommend to anyone looking to book here. We don’t normally stay in the same place twice, but this would be an exception, and look forward to returning in the future
