Thank you so much for your continued support and for choosing to stay with us again. It really does mean a great deal to welcome returning guests back to the property. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed another excellent stay and that you noticed the upgraded bathrooms. It's always encouraging when returning guests recognise the improvements we've made, and we appreciate your comments regarding the top floor too. Thank you as well for the suggestion of an air fryer. We thought it was a great idea and are pleased to say one is now being added for future guests to enjoy. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon for another stay in beautiful Rhosneigr.

Perfect, well equipped holiday let.

The accommodation at Ancones met our needs perfectly. House was spotless and warm on arrival. We really enjoyed sitting in the kitchen diner watching the activity at RAF Valley. Lounge and dining area are very comfortable. Easy access to the beach and amenities on offer in Rhosneigr. We would stay again.

Amazing Anglesey

An excellent property minutes from the beach, well maintained and spotlessly clean. The welcome pack on arrival was a lovely touch and very much appreciated. Parking for two vehicles is very handy. The only negative is the non flexible check in time of 5pm. This is a real shame as you lose a day of your holiday, it does mean a check out time of 11am but a better compromise would be a check in time of 3pm and a check out time of 10am. If you are looking to stay in Rhosneigr this property is a great option but be aware of the noise from RAF Valley during weekdays. We would definitely book this property again which says everything really.

Lovely House needs a few improvements

The House is lovely in a great location and very modern. Could be improved by replacing the blind I. The kitchen diner, it was broken but usable however it needs a black out blond as the heat from the sun makes unbearable to eat and sit in later in the day. A small issue for us was the noise the floor boards make above the ground floor bedrooms, if someone was up then everyone was up as they creaked so badly. No one else has mentioned this so we may just be overly noise sensitive. All in all would recommend and would probably return,

Lovely place to stay

The down score was for cleanliness when we arrived at the property, a bathroom bin was in emptied, the oven was dirty and multiple hairs on the sheets in the double room, I did let the company no. Otherwise everything was ok and we left it cleaner. I expected everything perfect for the most iv paid for a holiday home hence finding it a little expensive. It is a beautiful home in a perfect position far enough for an easy strole to town, parking ample . Could do with access to the bins at the front from the 2back gates to put dog waste in the bin. Perfect garden, really big, our dogs were really happy and had a great time on the wonderful beaches of rhosneiger. The town has everything you need and more. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review and for sharing both the positives and the areas where we fell short. Firstly, I'd like to apologise that the property was not presented to the standard both you and we expect on arrival. As soon as you contacted us, our team attended promptly to resolve the issues you highlighted. Whilst we're pleased we were able to put things right during your stay, we appreciate that first impressions count and we're sorry yours wasn't as it should have been. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the house, its spacious garden and fantastic location, and that your dogs had such a wonderful time exploring the beaches of Rhosneigr. It's also great to know you found the parking convenient and the easy stroll into the village. We appreciate your comments regarding value. Rhosneigr is one of Anglesey's most sought-after coastal villages, and properties in the area naturally command premium prices. We work hard to ensure our pricing remains competitive for the location, size and facilities each home offers, whilst always aiming to provide a standard that reflects that investment. Thank you also for your suggestion regarding access to the front bin from the rear garden. We've already acted on this and have opened the side gates, making it much easier for guests, particularly those staying with dogs, to access the bins. We really appreciate your feedback as it helps us improve, and we hope we'll have the opportunity to welcome you back to Anglesey in the future.

Good location

Property was comfortable and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped. Good location, short walk to town centre and very close to excellent beaches. Two parking spaces a bonus. Booked this property because all the bathrooms were ensuite, however they would benefit from a deep clean as there was quite a lot of unpleasant mould.

Ancones in October

Staying here in October with three best friends and my canine companion (wives at home) for a big birthday. Excellent location and superb property to enjoy the best of Rhosneigr and the isle of Anglesey. The house is ideal with 3 en-suite double bedrooms, plenty of room for all. Well equipped kitchen for steak night and wonderfully warming breakfasts. Very spacious and comfortable lounge for post walk destressing. Highly recommend this place as one of the best in the village.

First stay but not the last!

After holidaying in Rhosneigr for the last 15 years and always with Anglesey Holiday Lettings, this was our first visit to Ancones, and it certainly won’t be our last. Great location, 5 minutes to the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The house itself is brilliantly laid out, each bedroom with its own en-suite which gives privacy to all guests. Well appointed kitchen with everything you need and fabulous views from the window. Great patio area at the rear and very secure which was great for the fur kid! Highly recommend.

Lovely house, close to everything

Would definitely stay again it was perfect for what we needed. One thing I would say is the windows needed cleaning both internally and externally. Externally will be based on a window cleaner schedule of course but the internal stairs window was quite grubby and it’s the first thing you see as you walk up and obviously peer through as it’s an unusual feature. The back bedroom has next to no storage for clothes so we left everything in the suitcase.

Ideal location

Lovely accommodation right near the beach. Just a few minor complaints. You might like to consider putting a blackout blind in the kitchen because the sun is on that room all day and was a bit uncomfortable to sit in there especially as it’s also the dining room. When we arrived and opened some of the windows the fire alarms went off and we had no idea how to turn them off but it was resolved eventually.

Stay in Aug

Layout and location is excellent, but the fridge wasn’t cleaned and the welcome pack was woefully lacking. The side and rear gates were locked so we had to walk through the house in wet beach/surf gear. Crazy having the hosepipe in the back garden if you can’t access it! Showers need to be upgraded ideally, they aren’t really what you’d expect these days. Nice modern kitchen but short on basics.

Birthday week away

As a family, this is our first visit to Anglesey and it won’t be the last. The area itself is quiet, but the beaches are stunning and everyone we interacted with were pleasant. The accommodation itself is perfect. It’s got everything that you would need and every room comfortable. 3 bathrooms is perfect, if you are 3 couples booking, or a larger family like ours. The living room sat everyone and the kitchen is excellent. The new kitchen has all that you need and the large seating area provide views that are both relaxing and fantastic. The outside area is secure, so was brilliant for our dog (although she was always shattered from overdoing it on the beach!!) and there is seating, which we took advantage of with the great weather we had. Parking is a bonus, but there is plenty of on street parking too. Would highly recommend.
