La propriété est accessible depuis l’arrière par une cuisine / salle à manger lumineuse, spacieuse et ouverte offrant une atmosphère de bord de mer accueillante. En suivant le couloir, Lan Y Mor offre une surprise cachée d'un vaste sous-sol / coin-séjour en dessous; chambre idéale pour les enfants à échapper à. Le salon, doté d'une cheminée à feu de bois, est une pièce confortable et spacieuse. encore une fois avec des vues superbes et des portes-fenêtres pour faire entrer l’ext��rieur.
La propriété a 3 chambres à coucher; une chambre double avec salle de douche au rez-de-chaussée, au premier étage une chambre double avec balcon et vue exceptionnelle sur les dunes, et une autre chambre double à cet étage. Il y a aussi une salle de bains familiale, avec douche à l'italienne et baignoire séparée, située au premier étage.

La cuisine a une porte extérieure qui s'ouvre sur un espace surélevé à l'arrière de la maison afin que vous puissiez profiter d'un repas en plein air et d'une vue sur la côte.
La façade de la propriété accessible via un petit porche pratique. Cette propriété a tout et offre un accès à la plage et les dunes ne sont que saut, saut et saut.
La propriété dispose d'un parking sur la route pour 2 voitures à l'arrière de la propriété.

Enjoyable weekend stay

Fantastic stay

A cosy, warm, comfortable cottage. Spotlessly clean and in an amazing location. We spent 5 night here in January and had a wonderful time, we will return.

Beach difficult to reach from property,airplanes constantly flying overhead from nearby airfield (don't recall reading that in details)which were incredibly loud. Paint peeling from some walls,damp on others. Ensuite shower seemed to dribble it's water. Cellar/games room,toys thick with dust,pieces missing from games,broken boxes,jigsaw pieces everywhere. Beds very uncomfortable,felt springs poking.

Fantastic cottage

We have stayed many times art this cottage always spotless and has everything you need for your stay .we had a great stay the location is great for RAF jet lovers which my son is . The sand dunes are right on the door step for great dog walks . And great pubs and restaurants not far away .

Family break

We had a lovely time. 4 adults, 2 children and a dog. The property was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kitchen was great, had everything you needed and plenty of crockery. The location was superb. We would definitely like to return.

We have a lovely weekend with the boys . They absolutely loved being near the beach and spending time in the games area . The hone was clean and well presented and has everything you need for a comfortable stay .

Overall a good stay.

We have stayed in Lan Y Mor several times and have always enjoyed our stays. On arrival as you go directly into the kitchen, the first thing you see is the fridge freezer with the bottom of it broken, whilst it does not the affect the working of the fridge freezer, it’s not a good first impression. The kitchen definitely needs more cutlery, only six knives, and the oven isn’t the easiest to navigate, it would benefit from having an air fryer . The property would benefit from some TLC, some areas need paintwork refreshing. Cleanliness was excellent, bedding and towels very good quality. Overall a good stay.

Stayed here for 1 week, lovely house very clean and tidy, thought the welcome pack was a nice touch even a little treat for the dog, location is amazing straight out onto the Dunes or watch the jets from the terrace, minutes walk from bars and restaurants will definitely be returning

Amazing cottage

We have stayed in this cottage twice and it is amazing it meets our needs as it’s so clear to raf valley for our jet mad son . The location is great not too close to the busy centre of rhosneigr . Great dog walks right from the door . Great views . And the cottage has everything you will need for a great stay .

Weekend away with the girls & pooch

Absolute love it here .. second time here and just booked a third the end of January. Perfect location, cozy comfy beds lovely towels bedding etc .. stunning views from front & back, everything you need in the kitchen including Prosecco glssses !! Lovely bath and a nice walk to the beach .. and to the shops .. oyster bay perfect for a nice hot chocolate or a cocktail.. everywhere dog friendly. Feel like you have recharged your batteries when you leave , what’s not to love ❤️

Family holiday in Rhosneigr

We had a lovely stay in this comfortable homely cottage. A great set up only a few steps from stunning dunes and then onto the beach. The RAF valley was a hit for me- fascinated by the noisy activity of fighter jets again on your doorstep! Lots of dog walking, fresh air, sea dips, eating out, golf and generally relaxing in our rented spot. Definitely to be revisited again with hopefully some warmer weather next time :-) Thank you.

Beautiful place, perfect location, very clean, couldn't fault it, just over the dunes to the Beach,lovely walk straight from the door past RAFValley leading onto a beautiful beach that takes you to were the planes set off.. Couldn't fault it except outside at the back off the property there is a large opening under the steps that takes you to the balcony to sit and watch the planes that needs closing in, its a large drop into the garage and would cause an accident if our pets fell in..

Lovely space but housekeeping shoddy

Love place ruined by shoddy housekeeping i.e. floor entering kitchen broken, mould in upstairs bathroom, extractor fan not working. pillow case seams need attention as does duvet cover. small things except for downstairs shower head which would not stay errect so a shower only possible by holding the shower head.

Had you called the office during your stay we would have gladly asked Maintenance to attend the property for these couple issues. With regards to the bed linen, they are deliberately designed to have a small entry hole in each corner (which may look like the seams need attention) to ensure ease of use by the housekeeping team We do hope you understand and hope to welcome you again.

It could be lovely

As we entered through the gate our first impression was not good. The path and steps were covered in old dead leaves and there were cobwebs everywhere. Unfortunately things only got worse. Upon opening the door the first thing you see is the fridge with the bottom plinth all broken. The fridge worked fine but not a good start. I had to hoover all the walls as there were cobwebs and spiders in all the corners of the room. There was also damp issues in some of the rooms. I tried to phone the letting agent book they had closed. The following morning I spoke to the agent who sent someone round to jet wash the outside and the furniture which did make a difference but with a small baby in our group the damp and overall condition of the property we decided to leave. On the plus side the bedding and towels were a lovely quality and the letting agent have been very good in their responses but this property does not live up to its listing and needs attention.

Thank you for your review. We were disappointed to read your comments and, in particular, that our prompt efforts to address your concerns during your stay have not been acknowledged. As soon as we were made aware, we arranged for both our housekeeping team and the caretaker to attend. A number of tasks were carried out, many going well beyond what would typically be expected. It’s also worth noting that the rest of your party expressed they were happy with the property. This is a traditional, older property, and as advertised, the below-ground cellar is located near the tide line. Some natural damp is to be expected in such rooms as the cellar and is not something that can be entirely prevented. That said, we are always happy to investigate concerns and take action where needed, as we did in this case. We’re pleased to hear you found the linens and towels of good quality.

Great location - minutes to the beach!

Lovely property situated very close to the beach, five minute walk over the sand dunes. The property was very comfortable and clean with some outdoor seating to the front and rear which was great for a sunny day. The property listing showcases the basement space as an extra reception room ("ideal for kids and teenagers"), however we felt let down by the space. There was no indication on the listing that the ceilings are quite low; anyone over 5ft 9 would be unable to stand upright. Additionally the basement itself smelled quite strongly of damp which, together with the height issue, made the space unusable for us as a family. For this reason we were unable to give it five stars for condition and value for money. Anglesey Holiday Lettings ("AHL") did respond to our initial concerns very quickly sending a cleaning team to try to rectify the issue however after a day the smell had returned. We feel that this is more of a long term issue with the property, and not something that can be rectified with a "quick fix". If you're planning to book this property bear in mind that you may also find the basement room to be unusable.

Brilliant Holiday Cottage

We very much enjoyed our stay at Lan Y Mor in January; the house was very clean , had everything we needed but quite cold when we arrived although soon warmed up and turned out to be a very warm and cozy property. The heating is controlled by a NEST which might not be easy for everyone but we found it fine. The only minor thing we'd highlight is that it is advertised as having a "fireplace" which it does with a lovely woodburner but no starter pack, no tools and no instructions or reference to it in the provided online or physical instructions. It's like they don't really want you to use it but as we have one at home we did buy the appropriate logs etc and used it sucessfully. I think it's probably more dangerous not to provide instructions because if people do not know what they are doing or what fuel should be used it might ruin it. The house is situated right on the edge of the sand dunes so you can literally walk out of the front door over the dunes onto the beach, our dog loved it! You are pretty close to the runway of RAF Valley which we actually didn't mind at all, the big jets only flew on Monday and a couple on Tuesday so it wasn't intrusive and actually quite fascinating! You can walk into the village and the restaurants/pubs seem to all be open out of season which is great, loved the Oystercatcher, best Sunday lunch ever. The main bedroom upstairs is light and airy and has a lovely view from the balcony over the dunes to the sea, the other double bedroom downstairs is quite small with a very tight ensuite but nice to have a downstairs loo! Bed was comfortable and bedding nice quality. The decking front and back would be lovely in summer but was very slippery as it was icy when we stayed, might benefit from some non-slip treads. In summary we had a fantastic stay, the house is very homely and comfortable and we would definitely go back.

Tenth time here!

Love Lan y mor …we have been coming here for years! It’s always lovely. Couple of points this time. The info book needs updating, we still can’t get to grips with that oven! And there were a couple of issues with broken things being left lying about..health and safety, nothing massive just broken boiler cover left in kitchen, which we thought a bit strange. But the house is gorgeous. Only real criticism is that over the years less and less oven trays, less of a welcome pack…think Covid has taken its toll. But we will be back. We think the check in time of 5pm is incredibly late though…you are really only getting 6 days holiday. I have lots of friend who have check in times of 2 or 3 pm at cottages elsewhere. And I had a big health issue over the last two years and asked if we could possibly move it to 3, offering to pay more, because of being tired travelling ( last time we gave up our first night and travelled the next day early) and were told that was impossible because of cleaning routines. We are always the best of guests and wouldn’t ask for anything unless it was absolutely necessary. And we have been going to the cottage and others in Rhosneigr for years and have noticed these slight changes in care over the last few years. We managed ok, but it really wasn’t that big an ask. However go stay at the house, it’s lovely, it’s comfy, it’s in a perfect place. There isn’t disabled access and it’s a walk over dunes or long walk down the estuary to the beach so if you need shorter easier access or parking for more than one car stay closer to town. But we love it and its standard of cleanliness and comfort is great.

Bright cottage with dune access

Simply furnished white and blue seaside themed cottage with laminate flooring on ground floor, super soft carpet upstairs but bring your slippers! Cool play den for children in the cellar. Great location to dog walk from, straight onto the dunes. Downstairs en-suite useful but house not suitable for those with mobility issues as steps on the ground floor and narrow access to this en-suite. Highlights- great shower and spacious family bathroom, super clean, good location for dog walking/access to the beach.

Nice quiet location

Lovely location especially if you enjoy watching the aircraft at the RAF base. We had a few issues with the house which were dealt with fairly quickly by angelsey holiday lettings. There are some things that could be improved such as upstairs shower and sofas in living room. Overall a comfortable house in a lovely spot.

Lovely location

This house is in a great location right on the sand dunes so was great for walking the dog and beach access. Main shops about 10mins walk away. Golf club was friendly and allowed children so that was a great bonus. The house had been thoroughly cleaned. There are parts in the bathrooms that are looking a bit worn and need a revamp like the picture canvas in the bathroom is mouldy and the silicone seals around the bath have cracked. The shower in the main bathroom unpleasant to use as water accumulates in the tray due to poor drainage and there is a warning sign saying don’t use for too long in case of flooding so you are constantly worried about it slopping over. I marke tge comfort score down because the sofas in the living room, particularly the black one, are uncomfortable and the cream leather was was actually quite dirty. The living room could perhaps do with the reorganisation so that the small TV in the corner is more watchable. The main bedroom has a lovely restful feel and it was quiet front and back for a good nights sleep.

Beautiful cottage!

This is a beautiful cottage with lovely views from the front bedroom window. It is nicely decorated and very clean. From the cottage you can walk out onto the sand dunes and down onto the beach (this would be an issue for anyone with any mobility issues but there is another route (5-20 mins walk) to town/the beach by pathways). It has a small bathroom downstairs with a toilet/shower and the larger bathroom upstairs with a larger bathroom. There was everything we needed and we would definitely use this cottage again.
