Thank you Ray for your Review. Steve had a nice time chatting to you and me, in various conversations. There was drawback with the BBQ not being cleaned and mincemeat left over it and plates very dirty. Normally there is a $50 clean charge for this as per our House Rules as we have to have it left clean for others but decided not to charge this time. You said you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you again in the future.

Sun, sand, beach and family, it doesn’t get much better than a wonderfully located place in which to stay.

Thank you for your feedback Jeff and so glad all the family especially those coming from afar, the UK enjoyed their time at beachfront Yallambee Cottage. The range of ages in the children probably also enjoyed the gardens to frolick and explore. Looking forward to your next visit. For Returning Clients, the Cottage can be scaled down for smaller numbers.

We really enjoyed our family holiday. The house had everything we needed, allowing a large family group to stay. Being able to bring our dogs was great too. Very clean and comfortable. What an amazing location!!

It was a delight to have Bindi and her family stay at The Cottage as they were very respectful of the property also with their dog and obliging with the rubbish etc. Bindi would be welcome to come back at anytime.

Perfect place to relax

Brilliant scenery of beach and ocean in a peaceful location. Watching a full moon rise up from the ocean from the expansive verandah was dramatic. Very homely house with flexible accommodation options.

Considerate Travellers A great extended family weekend for Lyn and David who were very considerate guests in leaving Cottage tidy and clean considering their large numbers. A few minor items which we were happy to take care of for them.

Amazing location for a relaxing weekend.

The standout for the property is the location, deck, views and garden. The house was very well equipped and well stocked to cater for a large group and easily accommodates family groups in this deceptively large cottage. The cottage was perfect for a gathering by the beach enjoying the oudoor facilities. Walking access to the dog friendly beach and Copacabana and Macmasters patrolled beaches and shops.a plus.

What an amazing location, 5 minutes walk to beach,a little longer to patrolled beach. Our family had a wonderful stay. Beautiful garden, with a to die for view from top of garden and spacious deck. Charmaine was a great host. Would have no hesitation in recommending to anyone & would be more than happy to come back

Great location and very comfortable accommodations.

We enjoyed our time at Yallambee Cottage. Fantastic location and direct access to MacMasters Beach. Good, clear communication with property owner, who accommodated our requirements. House itself was old, but spacious and comfortable for our group of 4 adults, 6 kids and dog. Extensive amenities which made living and using the property and space very easy and enjoyable. Pretty sure we’ll be back for another visit in the future.

What a spectacular spot! The VIEW! The Deck! Plenty of space to unwind and chat! Beds were comfy and we were left wanting for nothing! As the property is on the older side, it really needed a good airing out when we first arrived.

Beautiful view

The very best block at Macs. Amazing access to the beach. Easy walk to flags at Macs or Copa. Just a short stroll along the beach for morning coffee. We loved it. The house is very simple with comfy beds. Don’t expect luxury but the house has everything you need for a beach holiday. The deck and beach side garden are definitely the highlight.

Awesome location with breathtaking views

A charming Macs Beach house offering direct beach access via a shared pathway. While the house features older-style furnishings, it is meticulously clean and has ample outdoor dining areas. Take in breathtaking views from the main deck or one of the cozy garden seating spots, perfect for enjoying a sunrise coffee or sunset cocktail. This idyllic setting is ideal for a family beach getaway, conveniently located near cafes and restaurants in Copa, accessible via a leisurely stroll along the beach. Our dogs loved it too!

Anzac Day weekend at the beach

What an amazing location ! This well appointed and well maintained classic beach house has immediate access to McMasters beach and lagoon. There are multiple areas in the back yard to sit and enjoy the view over the beach & waves, it’s like everyone could have their own little quiet seat to read and breath in the sea air. There’s a great deck with two tables, one for the adults and one for the kids, we had a BBQ breakfast every morning as the birds came to visit. We will definitely be bookings again, as Charmaine and her partner were easy to deal with and provide a great beachside holiday location.

Comfy family cottage

The Host Charmaine was extremely helpful. Magnificent views and pretty garden. From the large deck I was able to watch the grandkids play on the beach. Kitchen well equiped -cottage old and a bit dated but large bedrooms (comfortable beds) with good linen and homely decor. Despite the incessant rain we had the wood fire blaring - (wood was supplied) and had special family time enjoying the grandchildren.

Great Location and view

Although Yallambee Cottage is is an older house every other aspect outweighs it! The location and view is unbeatable. The kitchen is extremely well stocked. There are plenty of beds, lounges inside and out! We love it! This is our second stay here and we look forward to more.
