The Waters Edge Retreat

Fabuleux refuge avec des jardins entièrement matures pour une intimité sereine. Paix et tranquillité qui vous détendront au point de vous perdre. Écoutez les tons doux des vagues de l'océan caressant le rivage. Tirez une chaise et admirez le ciel étoilé. Profitez d'un verre de vin romantique au coin du feu. Voilà de quoi il s'agit!

La maison a trois chambres à coucher qui se composent d'un lit Queen, un lit double et dans la chambre des enfants un lit superposé et un lit simple. Un matelas de rechange vit sous le lit simple pour un 4ème enfant.

Du temps en famille!

Lorsque les enfants sont agités, il est temps de marcher jusqu'à la plage - 100 mètres et vous êtes sur le sable - Oubliez quelque chose ou avez besoin d'une serviette supplémentaire, pas de problème pour rentrer chez vous et la récupérer sans manquer aucune de l'action.
Dirigez-vous vers Australia Rock pour les nombreuses piscines rocheuses.
Les enfants adorent ça!
Beaucoup de vidéos et de jouets pour divertir les enfants par temps humide. Le téléviseur numérique offre une image cristalline à laquelle ne correspond que l'eau cristalline du système de purification de l'eau.
Profitez des grands ponts avant et arrière. Vélos et planches de bodyboard dans le hangar. Barbecues au gaz et au bois.

Idéal pour une grande ou 2 petites familles.

We had a fantastic stay at this holiday house. The location is perfect—just a short walk to both the beach and nearby cafes, which made everything so convenient. Communication with the host was seamless and easy throughout our stay. The house itself truly feels like a proper holiday home, with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

A beautiful spot very close to the ocean . Well set up , helpful host . The home is very welcoming and feels cosy , and home like . It’s a nice size so that everyone feels like they have some space . Was great having some beach toys available for the kids and also some fun board games handy . We really loved this place and would come back.

Great family stay!

A great property within walking distance to the surf beach. An older home however very clean and comfortable. The host is extremely responsive and helpful; we had an NBN issue and the host was great in assisting to rectify asap. We look forward to coming back next Summer!

We loved it, only thing that could have improved the property would have been fully fenced yard so the kids could run around and not get onto the road. Otherwise the property was fantastic.

Fantastic surf beach family holiday home

Wonderful and comfortable old-school beach holiday home. No wifi meant we had great family times with lots of board games and beach days. Loved the ringtail possum and baby! Will be back for sure!

So glad you had a wonderful time, Christy! We pride ourselves on keeping the house simple and clean providing the little things like board games and picnic baskets. Unfortunately, we have had a lot of pressure to provide Wifi as the mobile reception is quite poor in our area, so Wifi will be available for your next visit! :-) Personally, I'm in total agreement with you and prefer to leave the digital world for a short respite but it seems we are rare birds.

Best holiday ever!

We had a wonderful stay, with quick and easy access to the surf beach as well as the local marine national park. The street was quiet and away from the busyness of the main beach areas. The house was clean and well furnished, well stocked with utensils and equipment (including cleaning materials). The two decks were great, one is nicely shaded with great BBQ facilities and the second is large, perfect for having guests. We even spotted a koala in the garden. The best bit was being able to hear the sounds of the ocean. We'd love to visit again.

Weekend Break

Despite the age of the property, the inside was very clean and fresh. Bathroom was exceptionally clean. The bed in front bedroom was very comfortable. The wet weather meant we couldn't use the large deck or make use of the yard which unfortunately was not manicured as depicted in pictures of the property. The host was helpful and responded to queries in a timely manner. I'd book again.

Our stay at Inverloch

The house was very spacious and in a quiet location. Unfortunately the air conditioner (split system) was not working. The majority of us couldn't get a phone connection. Only 5 dining chairs provided for 6 guests. We had to carry in a garden chair for meals. Overall though we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the short walk to the beach.

Cleanliness lacked - bathrooms had not been cleaned post last visitors - including dirty toilets, sink and shower floor. Floor was very dirty with hairs and when wiped, cloth was black with dirt. Basin and bench top dirty as well - had clearly not been cleaned. I had to clean both bathrooms before we could use them. Also grass was extremely overgrown and you need to park on the grass - so walking from the car to the front door was very wet in the rain. Owner said we could check out at whatever time we wanted then on morning of arrival, said we would have to turn on the hot water which would take an hour to heat up; and turn on the fridge (which would then take a few hours to cool down to a sufficient temperature). When I expressed concern about the fridge and the food I was bringing needing refrigeration and asked if someone can please turn it on that morning, he then said he would get a cleaner to do that but we now had to check out on time so the cleaners could come. It made us feel very uncomfortable how he turned on us like that for a very valid necessity when renting a house (and could have been communicated upon us booking the house four days prior). We said we had made plans to depart at noon so could not now change them to which he obliged.

Hi Kim, We're sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, the property was not cleaned after the previous visitor, which was an oversight on our behalf. I thought it had been cleaned and was ready to go. Last minute, weekend bookings in off peak times can be a challenge for us as we do need to turn things on when the property is in a dormant state. Well serviced and neat and tidy house.

The property is well kept and all you need in facilities are there. The owner was very helpful and willing to help with info on how to start the hot water. Will almost certainly stay here again :)
