Absolutely loved our stay

Returning for our second stay, and it was just as wonderful! The place remains spacious, well-equipped, and its proximity to the beach is unbeatable. The beautiful view, along with the quiet neighbourhood, added to the overall charm. Highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

Quiet but with all that we need nearby.

The house was fabulous and the multi-levels came in so handy with adult children. The view was breathtaking and beds super comfy. we loved our stay. Would recommend highly.

Family Christmas Getaway

We had a beautiful stay at Maureen's house. The house was clean, comfortable and spacious. The game room was a hit with the kids. Fully enclosed backyard for the dog was great too. Very happy with our stay, would definitely recommend 😊

Very relaxing getaway

Excellent communication with host and an easy check in process. The house is as described, so matched our expectations. It was comfortable and easy to relax in with a well equipped kitchen and a great selection of books. The upstairs room was a favourite with lovely views. We loved the easy walk to one of the beaches as well as the quiet location whilestill having Inverloch and Wonthaggi close by.

Great house .

Great bedrooms, nice kitchen , great outdoor area, perfect with our little dog too. The ensuite needs some some attention and no more gaps around the windows. The showers arent good for tall people and the water pressure needs attention. Lovely for what we needed.

Water views and relaxation

The property is in a quiet location, but still less than 10 mins walk to the tavern and local shop and cafe in Cape Paterson. In the late afternoon and evening, the local birds paid a visit to the trees around the balcony. The view is great to sit and have a late afternoon drink and relax. The house itself is well set up for families. One room has an ensuite and there is a large main bathroom. The fitout is largely original, but was functional and everything you needed in terms of kitchen, games etc was there. We have a lovely relaxing visit at this property and wouldn’t hesitate to come again in future for a beach holiday. My kids love Cape Paterson beach, it’s great for boogie boarding and patrolled through out much of the year. Maureen was a good host, helpful and quick to respond.

Almost lovely

Initial impressions of this property were great. We enjoyed our weekend here, despite the mild smell of wet dog causing our family to have runny noses and scratchy throats for the weekend. Take your ear plugs to combat the noise of the house groaning and cracking in the wind.

Great Location

The property is a short walk to the beach and the Hotel for dinner. It's a short drive to Inverloch and RACV for meals. Further afield are some nice wineries. The views from the balcony are great. The check-in was nice and easy with the host being very helpful.

Wonderful, relaxing setting… everything you need

Wonderful property, secluded and private with beautiful views. We enjoyed the upstairs living area immensely, watching the ever changing ocean. Pool table was a big hit with the kids, and the yard was very pet friendly. The outdoor deck and barbecue area were fantastic. Everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing break.

A great place to get away!

Thanks for your hospitality and for accommodating our pets. We had a lovely time exploring local beaches: walking, fishing and paddle boarding. We hope to visit again soon :)
