A lovely place to stay, with beautiful forest nearby and so many birds out every window!Well equipped, with everything we needed to enjoy our holiday. The chalet even stayed cool during the hottest down south weather in 118 years!Ines was very helpful and welcoming. We would love to stay again.

Amazing getaway

The accommodation was scrupulously clean, neat and well equipped. The location is lovely and the local birds are as gorgeous as they are bold. The bird baths near the front door provide endless entertainment.

Great spot

We had a beautiful stay here while doing the cape to cape walk. How wonderful to come home to a jacuzzi after a long cold wet hike! With wineries so close it’s perfect for exploring too.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful spot

Beautiful bush setting, birds chirping and privacy all around - this cottage was relaxing and comfortable for our family of 5. Fantastic location close to everything you need but quiet and peaceful when you return home. Highly recommend

Lovely forest getaway

Beaut spot tucked in by boranup forest. The chalet is perfect for a forest retreat. Comfy, clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful gardens and setting

Bird life is amazing!

We really enjoyed our stay here. It is close to some awesome wineries and beaches. Best of all though was the garden and bird life that came with it - the 5 o'clock show was amazing!

Lovely house in a fabulous location

Our second stay at Jewel Cottage. Love the location, the flora and fauna. The house is comfortable and well equipped. Will be back!

Awesome Stay

Wonderful 4 night stay, peace and quiet in the forest surrounds, bird life was amazing coming in for a drink and bath. Got to see mum emu and chick waltzing by. Loved it.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting

The cottage was very well equipped and comfortable. Extra marks for providing heaters in addition to the wood-burning fire. The grounds are fabulous, plenty of beautiful native trees and plants and loads of birds. Will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Surroundings

Such a lovely place to stay in between Margaret River and Augusta. We were able to visit local caves, lighthouse and stunning beaches all within an easy drive. The property is cool in Summer and well equipped and appointed with everything you need for a relaxing, private and comfortable stay. The private outdoor areas and birds coming in every morning to drink and cool off in the bird baths were delightful.

Beautiful garden put us in holiday mode

A 3 night stay was just enough to put us in to holiday mode at this beautiful, secluded chalet in the bush. The sturdy rammed earth walls and fire made it cozy through the last cold nights of winter and we enjoyed walking through the nicely cultivated bush native garden. This was a perfect time for the wild flowers and we saw lots of birds enjoying the place too.
