Perfect Family GetawayWonderful family home! We loved being a short walk from the local beach and how well the house catered to all ages and our dog. Communication with the host was seamless and incredibly easy. This was our second stay, and we are already looking forward to visiting again!

Our location was walking distance to the beach, which we took advantage of each day with our family.The home was suitable for small children which was important to us.The home gave the family plenty of room, we took advantage of the enclosed front yard which the grand children played games and rode bikes safely. grandchildren.

Great holiday home

Lovely well equipped, spacious and very pet friendly,with a fully enclosed yard, we could not find one fault with this lovely home. so close to the beach, and a great park for the grandkids. We look forward to staying again.

“Beach Bliss”

What a beautiful home, fresh, clean, comfortable..Thankyou sooo much to our host Anita, we were able to stay on to watch our daughters sports finals. I would recommend this place and rate it highly, to my friends.

This property had such a nice, warm feeling to it. So comfortable and plenty of room. It’s a quite area, with a park and beach walking distance away. Great for the kids. Very central to shops and the foreshore. Will definitely be returning to this beautiful beach house again.

Everything you need and more!

This is a large, well appointed, very comfortable house and, although there isn't a view, it is very close to a great beach, less than a few minutes walk. The house is securely fenced both front and back, great for dogs, and kids!

Wonderful house, plenty of room and so close to the beach

Our family and friends had a lovely stay at Silver Sands, so much so I extended our stay. Anita was an amazing host who was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our queries. The house is really well appointed and has lots of room for everyone and the beach was close enough to walk to without the kids complaining :-) The 2 lounge spaces allowed adults a bit of separation from the kids too. We will definitely stay here again.

Great family beach escape only an hour-ish south of Perth

Silver Sands was the perfect place for our family reunion. Great location just minutes’ walk from the playground and the stunning Silver Sands beach and a short drive to the Mandurah foreshore, bars and restaurants. Lovely house with plenty of room for 6 adults, 4 kids and especially brilliant to be able to take the 2 family dogs along (otherwise my step-Dad wouldn’t have been able to leave Rosie and would have missed out). We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend to other families looking for a beach escape, thanks Anita.

This property will not disappoint. Plenty of space for all ages, numerous very comfortable couches and beds. Enclosed yards back and front keeping young children and dogs secure. A short distance from the centre of town and 10-15 minutes to the Forum shopping centre.

Fantastic beach holiday home for the family. Close to beach.

We had a great stay at Anita's place in Silver Sands. There was plenty of room for us to spread out. It comfortably fit 2 families. The kids were never bored. We were either at the beach which is a very short stroll from the house, at the park, playing pool or just chilling in the house. The beach was fairly quiet and we mainly had the beach to ourselves. We ate in on a couple of nights and the kitchen was easy to cook in. The addition of a small air fryer was handy. The garage was spacious and fit 2 x 4WD with room to spare. Check in and check out was easy. Anita was very prompt in any queries we had. She even generously offered early check in when the house was ready early. We would definitely stay here again if we were to have another trip away to Mandurah.

Review of stay

Overall the impression was good. A bit disappointed with the cleanliness - the bed where my granddaughter was sleeping had sand in the bed when she got into on our first night. The handle in the main bathroom shower came off in my sister's hand but was put back again. Quite a bit of dust/flies behind the bed in master bedroom when I pulled out the side table to plug my ipad in. The neighbours were very noisy quite late into the night infront of my granddaughter's bedroom and my sister's room.

Hello.. and welcome to Silver Sands. I fell in love with this house due to it's character and its location to the beach and knew that it's where I wanted to always spend my holiday time with family, friends and share it with other guests. I'm married, we have 6 adult children, a grandchild and dogs. We love boating, fishing, the beach and spending time with friends and this house really allows us to do what we love. We hope you like it too.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

The house has always had a lovely welcoming feel and the location near the beach at Silver Sands is priceless. Over the years we've made it our own and done some small renovations to make it feel beachy, relaxing and comfortable. It's a fairly quiet street, with passers by usually carrying rods or beach bags and heading towards the beach. There's a great park about 50 metres away for the kids and the front yard is grassed and fenced so the kids can play while you sit back and enjoy the sound of the waves.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We've tried to think of everything. Comfy mattresses, mattress toppers, coffee machines, wifi, cosy furniture and a few separate spaces so if there are a few of you staying you can still find your own little place to chill. There's plenty of off street parking on our wide verge for boats and cars and a very large garage. There's a table tennis and pool table for further entertainment and areas at front and back of the house to gather around with friends over food and make some great memories.
