Brian was an exceptional host and incredibly gracious offering both early check in and check out options.The house was neat, tidy and adequately appointed. We would be remis not to acknowledge some previous comments about the house cleanliness and while we can understand the viewpoint we found the house to be clean and more in need of a little TLC but nothing that caused any impact to our stay.We we definitely consider returning for future visits.

We loved the house and the pool, it is great for a group. Excellent location and the host was a pleasure to deal with.

The property was sufficient but lacking in many ways. The true benefit was the quiet and safe neighborhood as well as the wonderful outdoor living space and pool. Inside, it was clean on the surface but showed a lack of deeper cleaning on light fixtures and often overlooked spaces. Furniture and appliances showed significant wear. The kitchen, while spacious is not stocked in a manner appropriate for this type of listing and instead felt like a college apartment with mixed sets and chipped dish wear. Remote controls were and held together by electrical tape and the volume down button did not work on one remote. The oven controls barely functioned. One toilet ran roughly every 20 minutes and one ceiling fan did not work at all. The property could easily be improved to a more satisfactory level.

A fabulous house for a family holiday. Ideal location close to beach, park & cafe and very quiet. Pool is great with lovely setting, although quite deep for most of it. House isn't as modern as photos but still a great place for a relaxing break with everything we needed. Host very pleasant.

Wonderful home and amazing outodoor area. The pool was to die for! We spent so much time outside in this beautiful tropical area. I posted photos to friends and they thought I was in a resort. All areas were as depicted and communication with the host was fantastic. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars was the mattresses were too firm for us, otherwise everything else was 5 stars!

The rental experience was smooth and easy and Brian was very accommodating with letting us stay for a late checkout in our last day to allow us to enjoy the pool right up to the last minute.

Great house and location

The house is perfect for relaxing by the pool and is only a short walk to the beach. Great for families. Brian was an excellent communicator and we really enjoyed our stay. 5 stars.

Great winter getaway

Easy check in process. Everything within the house was as listed. The pool and outdoor area was everything we wanted for a getaway from the cold NSW winter. Really enjoyed staying. Thanks Brian.

Spacious house in quiet area, with great pool and perfect location to visit the area

Really enjoyed our stay at ‘Lorikeet on Coral’. Brian was really friendly and responsive to any queries we had. The house was perfect for our large family and the pool got regularly used. Highly recommended for those wanting to see the sights of port Douglas and norther Queensland

Week away in Port Douglas

Good location, excellent swimming pool and well stocked with equipment etc. However, the property and fittings are looking a bit tired and in need of a bit of TLC. For example dining room chairs need replacing.
