Great quiet place to stay. Free wake up calls (from the rooster and peacock) and would not hesitate to stay again. Although privacy in the main bedroom may be an issue if staying with a group but for just the 2 of us it was everything we could ask for. Thankyou.

Excellent stay on the farm

We really had a great time staying at this property. If you are looking for quiet and seclusion just outside of Mossman and Port Douglas, this is the place! A perfect base for taking day trips in the surrounding area.

Country peace and quiet within short distance to all we wanted to do.

Loved this property. Rustic but not, quirky but nice. Quiet and peaceful, away from the tourist areas, but not far to supermarkets or restaurants.Sheep, peacocks, chooks and bird life.Everything we needed was supplied. The outside deck was our favourite place every day to sit and soak up the atmosphere.Our hosts were friendly and helpful with local attractions.We loved our stay here.

This was a really nice place to stay with our three kids. We loved the space and the quietness. We enjoyed the farm animals and the peacocks wandering around the land. There is so much to see and to do in the surrounding areas. We had a great time! The house felt like a home and had everything one might need.

Another fantastic stay!

This was our second time staying at this house and again it was amazing. It is in a great location close to Port Douglas, Mossman and the Daintree. The house is a great place to relax in a peaceful setting, very clean and owners are lovely and there if you need anything during your stay. We will certainly be back again. Thank you

Beautiful peaceful spot

We had a lovely stay, it is a fantastic house and has everything you need, very spacious and very clean. Great spot to relax, unwind and do nothing but chill for a few days. We brought our dog and there was great area for her to play. It is in a great location in Shannnovale not far from Port Douglas and has a creek only 5min away to swim. Will certainly be back very soon. Only disappointment was with stayz they took our money and confirmed the booking with us but never informed the owner that we had booked. We were lucky that we contacted the owner the day before and she was so lovely and thankfully the property was still available for these dates.

Lovely retreat

Peaceful and tranquil. Nature at its best. A lovely farm with great amusing animals. Sheep, Peacock, Horse, Cows, Chooks. My dog was very happy to be there too. Close to Mossman and Port Douglas. We would definitely stay again.

A relaxing retreat

We had a great stay. The property is peaceful and private and the house is spacious. All the amenities you could possibly need were supplied by the hosts. The plunge pool was wonderful in the hot weather. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Lovely spot

The house is even nicer than the photos show. Extremely well set up, comfortable and convenient. We loved the views, nice walks straight from the house and excellent birding as a bonus. The owners are easy to work with and welcoming. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
