Nous sommes un penthouse de luxe 5 ***** (le seul appartement en bord de mer Ă  Manuel Antonio Ă  seulement 5 pas de la plage, des restaurants, des bars et bien plus encore !!!! Le Penthouse surplombe une vue spectaculaire sur le front de mer et vous aurez des visites quotidiennes d'animaux exotiques tels que des singes, des paresseux, des oiseaux, directement sur votre balcon. Cet appartement moderne est entiĂšrement meublĂ© avec toutes les qualitĂ©s luxueuses que vous pouvez imaginer, des draps en coton, Ă  une cuisine entiĂšrement fonctionnelle avec des comptoirs en granit, des appareils en acier inoxydable, des canapĂ©s en cuir italien, des LED de 55 pouces et des finitions exotiques tout au long. Our host Raul was amazing - he was super responsive and helped with many of our dinners and excursions!! The penthouse was perfect for our family of 4 - spacious, great location, had a few monkeys visit and a great restaurant right below us was a bonus! Ronald and staff at Baldi Plus were so nice and food and service amazing! If you want a surf lesson, beach chairs, etc. Pablo is your man! He will introduce himself to you - fabulous trip and back soon.

The location was wonderful! We walked to the National Forest and to dinner every night. We were directly across from the beach and rented chairs and umbrella for 20 a day. There are 2 stores just down the street so we were able to purchase drinks and snacks. Juan was our contact and he helped us book a fishing trip, get taxi’s and answered every question we had. Home itself was very nice and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Hard to say whether the place or Raul was more awesome! He took care of everything from grocery orders to planning our favorite excursions. This place is uniquely closer to the beach than any other places you can stay on this strip. We saw monkeys, sloths and iguanas here when we thought it was required to spend time in the cloud forest. My only regret is we didnt stay here longer. If you are interested in surfing Raul will hook you up with Paublo and get you up in no time! If you love great food and drinks simply walk downstairs to Baldisplus. Click the button now and rent this beautiful place for an amazing costa rica experience!

We had a fantastic stay. This is a clean, clean, clean unit. It is fantastically located right across from the beach. The restaurant Baldi‘s directly beneath the unit is a phenomenal stop for anybody in the area. We ate there multiple times. Raul, the property manager is A. He was a tremendous resource for assistance with excursions and beach service recommendations, including Palo (surfboard surf lessons, boogie boards, assisting with chairs and umbrellas). Spent a lot of time talking with all of these people 
just fantastic folks to deal with. The host was incredibly responsive as well. We are already working on booking a return trip-without any hesitation!

Beautiful, large apartment right across the street from the beach. Several walkable restaurants including one right downstairs that will even bring food straight to your door. Raul was communicative and met us for our arrival and departure. He even carried up our heavy suitcases for us. Market and souvenir shops right next door. A family of monkeys offered us great photo ops by crossing our deck each morning. Tourist attractions for zip lining within walking distance. Dedicated parking is available right outside the front door.

Great place to stay! Book it. Big open space. Great balcony with views of the ocean and the fascinating street below. Awesome AC. Washer and dryer was a luxury we used constantly. Beach shower downstairs. Supermarket and restaurants next door. Great host Raul. Honestly it’s an oasis in an otherwise beautifully chaotic place. Surf lessons and beach rentals from Pablo across the street. Monkeys daily. There’s nothing like it in the immediate area. Book it!

Great beach place!!!

We would stay here again!! Great walkable location to many activities and places to eat. Both our kids(12/17) had a great time taking surf lessons from Pablo. The place is beyond clean and had everything we needed. Loved having coffee in the morning and watching all the activity on the beach.

Perfect Location

The place reminds me of a speakeasy. The entrance is right on the strip across from the beach. You entry through an unassuming door and immediately step into a different place. It was super nice and very convenient to the beach, groceries and the national park. I used the host to help book our excursions and I feel like I got better deals than booking them myself.

Property was above a very well run restaurant. The staff of the hotel were very nice and helpful. Joseph was a wonderful host who helped with all the local activities and attractions. Absolutely perfect

The apartment is a block away from the park. The restaurant downstairs is great and they will bring food upstairs for you. The beach is great. We saw monkeys walking on the wires across the street. You can’t find a better place to stay in Manuel Antonio.

The property itself is terrific, and is located in the middle of a surf town, which permeated with the associated culture. There is a fantastic restaurant below that we loved. We felt an immersion into the local surf town vibe. We actually ended up extending our trip because we were having so much fun. We went late September so we were in the "rainy season", but we enjoyed plenty of sunshine and welcomed the afternoon and evening rains. The surf was consistent during high tide so we enjoyed plenty of fun in the waves, and even took lessons from the surfer that keeps his boards on the property and became a friend. There is a bunch of activity on the street outside, but we experienced it as a glimpse into the local culture and felt welcomed by the people we interacted with daily.

Perfect Everything!

Could not possibly get a better location. Property manager introduced us to the locals and we genuinely got the royal treatment. Apartment was very clean and conveniently located above a fantastic restaurant that we ate at three time. Surf lessons with Pablo was awesome, and we got a great guide through the property manager to help locate sloths in Manual Antonio National Park. Did not want to leave!

Fabulous place steps from Manuel Antonio with ocean view

Our family of five stayed in three accommodations in Costa Rica, and this apartment was our favorite. It was clean and very spacious, with lots of places to relax and a sense of privacy in each room. The beach is right across the street, and the ocean comes up fairly close, so the views from the living room are impressive. There are also some good restaurants nearby; we took advantage of having Baldi's downstairs and ordered lunch and dessert there a few times. And it was just a five-minute walk from Manuel Antonio. Although most guides will pick you up from your hotel, the location of our place made it easy to get back when we explored the park after our tour. All in all, a wonderful stay!

Absolutely loved everything about the Elephant Castle! From the location to the beds to the awesome service from Josue (the property manager) l!! Everything was wonderful!! Baldi’s the restaurant below the Castle was soo good and so was Marlins right down the road! Can’t wait to stay again!

Beautiful accommodation is a great location!

The Elephant Castle is beautifully decorated and warm and welcoming. The location across from the beach sets a lovely view from the balcony. Its fun to watch the activity below with vendors, walkers, beach-goers, surfers and more! The restaurant below, Baldi's has great food and friendly staff. You can walk to the market a couple doors down, restaurants and to Manuel Antonio National Park! (We saw sloths, monkeys, toucans, red crabs and more!) Josue' was the property manager. He was kind and very responsive to ensure all our needs were met and our stay comfortable. Pablo was our recommended contact for our beach needs. We rented a cabana with 4 chairs and 2 boogie boards all very reasonably priced. My niece even had a surf lesson from one of his staff! It was definitely a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend staying at the Elephant Castle!

Exceptional private apartment. It had everything we needed and then some. Location over a restaurant made for convenient dining and a feeling of family as we shared greetings every day. We were three adults staying here for five nights. Wish it had been longer. Beach across the street was marvelous, clean, friendly. We felt we were in the heart of Manuel Antonio—we could sit on the balcony and people watch, or go inside and not hear a bit of it. Josue took exceptional care to stay in touch with us and arranged excursions that we had not prebooked with Raul. Lots to do here and nearby with multiple tours that pick up at hotels and here. Don’t know how this experience could be improved upon. Pura Vida!

We had an amazing time at the elephant Castle. The location is right in the hussle and bustle in front of the beach (which we loved), and walking distance from the park. We were well taken care of at every step—our concierge helped plan excursions and gave us tips. Thank you! We would definitely stay again.

This place is amazing! We were a little concerned when we first drove up (accosted by people trying to sell you things from every direction) but that melted away as soon as we entered the apartment. It was incredible. Comfortable, clean, quiet despite being on the beachfront and above a restaurant. And we were so well looked after by the host and the people he introduced us to - the restaurant downstairs, Paolo the surf guy and José the beach chair guy. We also soon realised that the street sellers will actually leave you alone if you say no, so the area felt very safe. The hosts were really helpful with arranging tours as well, although being walking distance to the National Park is a bonus! We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Manuel Antonio (which we hope to do - our stay was too short)

So Much More Than Expected

This was one of the best experiences of our trip to Costa Rica. The location of the unit was perfect. A few short steps from the beach, above a delicious restaurant, Baldi’s Fresh, walking distance from the park. The unit itself was clean, beautiful and well equipped. All that said, the best part of this experience was the wonderfully friendly and helpful people. Raul, the concierge, Josue the host, could not have been more helpful, friendly or accessible. Then there was Pablo. Pablo runs a surf school and keeps his supplies near the condo. He was a delight. He offered a great deal of information, suggestions and joy to our trip. We took a great surf lesson from him. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!!! I would not change a single thing!
