Cette copropriété est située au cœur de Tamarindo, au Costa Rica, et à quelques pas de toutes les attractions de la ville, y compris la plage. Situé juste à côté de la rue principale, il offre le calme d'être loin du bruit de la journée et de la vie nocturne, mais il est à moins d'un pâté de maisons de la rue principale. Il est également à moins d'un demi-pâté de maisons du supermarché.

Mon unité particulière est au premier étage à côté de la piscine. Il est particulièrement pratique pour ceux qui ont des poussettes ou des problèmes de mobilité.

La chambre principale a un lit king et une salle de bain complète. La deuxième chambre a deux lits jumeaux qui peuvent être rapprochés; la deuxième salle de bain complète est dans le couloir. Il y a une cuisine bien équipée avec un micro-ondes. Il y a aussi une machine à laver dans l'unité (le complexe de condominiums a des séchoirs gratuits).

Il y a des télévisions dans le salon et la deuxième chambre, et le wifi gratuit. Les draps et les serviettes sont également fournis.

We had a great time. Complex was in a great spot, host was very easy to access and very helpful. Pool was very nice and the beach’s are a 5 minute walk. No need for a car for anything while in Tamarindo. Also met many people at the complex which made Happy Hour even better. The condo itself was good but needs some updating.

Stay at Balcones del Pacifico, Tamarindo, CR 👍🏼

We had a great stay at this condo. The location was so convenient for walking to the beach, great food and shops. Communication with the owner was easy, fast and effective. The condo was lovely - clean, quiet and wonderfully cool on those hot afternoons! Would recommend as a place to stay.

A 1 night stay in Tamarindo

Excellent location, near “Saturday Outdoor Marketplace” the restaurants, entertainment, and the beach. Pool is just outside the unit. I would definitely rent again if I come back.

A perfect stay in Tamarindo

We loved everything : the location very close to the beach and a short walk to the surf spot. Also just beside the grocery store. We loved the swimming pool, the tranquility of the place and how well maintained the garden is (a special thanks to Alberto). We asked a few questions to Kamina during our stay and she always responsed very quickly. Would come back again.

Great place to stay. Very quiet complex tucked away and only about a 1-2 minute walk to restaurants. 3 minute maximum walk to downtown and beach. Nice pool. Owner was very responsive. Good amenities in kitchen.

Comfortable and Close to Everything!

This is a nice 2 bedroom/2bath unit and a good value. I liked the convenient first floor location with easy access to the entrance and pool. Beds were comfortable as well as the living room furniture. Air conditioning worked beautifully which is important in April. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils. Hard to beat!

Early communication was tough, once we got the entry info we were super happy. Location was right in tamarindo. Close to everything. One hour from Liberia. Shower was lukewarm and a little underpowered. Beds were great. Personal amenities were great. Fantastic communication with owner. Would rent again, but for longer

Pura Vida in Tamarindo

The property is quite spacious and very close to the quiet pool. The demographics skewed to retiree-aged people. However the younger people were very nice and a pleasure to talk to. This is not a party facility. It’s centrally located and close to many restaurants and downtown Tama. Minutes to the beach as in, never problem if you forget something back at the condo. Alberto, the gardener, is very friendly and helpful. The owner, Parmina, is super helpful and replies quickly to any questions. I hesitate to write this as we want to return again next year!

Balcones Del Pacifico Tamarindo Feb 2019

We all enjoyed our stay at Balcones, the location was perfect and our condo unit, grounds and pool were great. Kamina, the owner of our unit was very helpful well before our stay providing us with information on any issue we asked her about. During our stay Kamina was very prompt with any issue that arose and we were so satisfied with everything. Her property manager Maria was a great help as well providing any requirements as requested. The maintenance man (Roy) who managed the pool and grounds worked tirelessly and was so pleasant all the time and did an excellent job. We would recommend and have, for anyone to stay at this condo, you will not be disappointed. Thanks again Kamina for everything.

Great location, pool and reasonably priced!

The best thing about this property is the location! Right in the middle of town and easy walk to beach, shops and restaurants. The furnishings are dated but sufficient. Needs a makeover for sure. The filtered water pitcher is a nice touch. There are one beach chair, one pool float and one boogie board. I would bring your own pool floats. They have pool/beach towels so you will have a few of those to use. Property is gated and has security so we felt totally safe and secure. There are about four onsite parking spaces as well. Overall I think, for the price, it worked well for us and I would recommend to anyone on a budget who wants to be close to beach and amenities of Tama. Pura Vida

Perfect Vacation

I booked Kamina's place for our family vacation during the Holidays in December. From the time of booking to the time of arrival the whole process could not have been smoother. Kamina was very responsive whenever I had a question (also while in Tamarindo) and she had great restaurant and airport transfer suggestions which we used. Her unit was perfect for myself, my husband and our two adult daughters. It had lots of space and comfortable beds. The kitchen was fully stocked, but we only ended up using it to make breakfast, there was too many good restaurants in town. The complex is well taken care of, the pool is very clean, it is very safe and best of all, only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and restaurants. The unit itself is slightly dated, but clean and all the windows had bug screens which I very much appreciated. I also appreciated the washing machine in the unit and the free dryers in the complex. Made for light packing and always fresh beach towels on hand. We would definitely rent Kamina's unit again and we can't wait to go back to Costa Rica.

Great location, but overall in need of some attention

The check-in process was unclear. The location was great- walkable to most places we wanted to go. The property was in need of TLC. One of the showers didn't have a holder for the shower head, so you had to hold it yourself, which was weird and inconvenient. There were two cabinet doors that were off the hinges (one in a bathroom, the other in the kitchen). The sliding door for the bedroom closet was also off its track. None of the overhead lights had covers. It seemed like it was in need of a 2 hour handyman visit and $200 dollars in materials to make it functional and more finished.

great location

This is a great location in Tamarindo. 3 blocks to the beach, 1 block to a grocery store, 2 blocks to restaurants. Small, nice pool with pretty garden. Units are individually owned in Balcones del Pacifico, so some are quite dated and some are nice. Our unit was rather out of date but very clean

Nice house and the best location

It’s a cozy nice house, everything is as described and everything works. It is very convenient that the unit is on the first floor. The swimming pool is great. The location is perfect, it’s close to everything-beach, grocery stores, restaurants, playground and skate board park.

My name is Kamina, and I am the single mother of an adult teenage daughter; we live outside of Atlanta. My sister and I bought this condominium several years ago while on vacation with my sister and daughter. We fell in love with the town, the people, and the culture of Costa Rica. Now my daughter and I return every summer. Tamarindo is the kind of place where I felt safe (in the day) allowing my daughter to walk to the supermarket or to buy a smoothie by herself. Of course, this was after a few summers, and people know and look out for her there, but I loved that she could be independent and safe in way that is not always possible at home.





Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property is convenient to EVERYTHING, but on quiet street off the main street. Honestly, that is generally true of most places as Tamarindo is a very walkable town. You do not need to rent a car. What makes Balcones a superior property is that it has a better pool than most condominiums in Tamarindo, and its location is uniquely quiet while still managing to be close to the major attractions in town. I cannot think of a more perfectly located condo.
I LOVE the people here. The place is touristy, but the locals are incredible. I couldn't believe it when the second summer I visited a bar, the bartender not only remembered me, but he remembered my drink! I know and care about so many people there, and the number grows every year.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Balcones is very home-y. My unit in particular is in a location that is very convenient to the pool and the free dryers. I am on the first floor and am constantly washing beach clothes, towels, and swimsuits, so I am glad that I have a short walk to the dryers after I wash clothes (washing machine is in the unit). I also like that I am close to the entrance, but not AT the entrance to the gated complex. There are only 24 units, so the pool is often empty throughout the day; it feels very private.
