Hi Paul, We are so glad you had a 5 star stay & that you enjoyed the incredible views from our top floor! We are also glad you found our multiple Master Bedroom suites spacious and our kitchen stocked as promised. I’m sorry to hear that you had issues with the internet. This location has 400 mbp, the highest available in the area, and it’s more than adequate to keep the whole house connected to wifi. We wish you would no have contacted us during your stay, so we would have had an opportunity to troubleshoot the wifi. If you had, we would have been happy to get your group back up and running on all your devices. Thank you for your feedback regarding the air mattresses. Typically, our adult guests find our Master Suites & King Size Pillowtop Mattresses very comfortable, and choose to set up the air mattresses up for our younger guests. While we provide the best air mattresses available, we understand how an adult may find them uncomfortable. For future stays, our Lakeview Lux home is located about 45 minutes away from this location, & features an extra bedroom with a King Sized Bed. Hi Amy, Thanks so much for your review. We do apologize for any issues with communication. We know that travelers want to have the most seamless booking process possible and we try our best to make sure communication is clear and abundant with information as our guests are trying to plan their trips. Unfortunately sometimes it is hard to communicate via email and we cannot contact guests directly until after booking due to policies enforced by the site. We are so glad that you had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the view and the area. We make efforts each quarter with quality inspections to keep the house updated and in top shape to provide a luxury mountain experience, often replacing furniture and maintaining all amenities in the house immediately upon any issues. We are glad that overall you did enjoy the house. We do hope you come to visit us again.

Carolgene, thank you for your complimentary review about our beautiful home, the scenic views of the surrounding area the design of the house provides, and most importantly, the comments about our customer service which is paramount. Our homes are designed with our guests in mind and with the goal of providing an unforgettable group vacation. We do quality control checks before each stay to ensure all amenities are working; however, occasionally an item can break without warning during a stay. That is why we provide all guests with information about the multiple ways we can be reached before and during their stay. After making a reservation, we include this information in a guest’s account portal, and it is again provided in a pre-check-in email sent to the guest. When we are notified of such a situation, we do our best to immediately address the issue. In your case, we wish your group had notified us that the ice maker stopped working. We would gladly have delivered multiple bags of ice for your use while waiting for the ice maker to be repaired . Also, we are sorry that the equipment your group felt they needed to cook a particular recipe was not out. We wish your needs had been communicated to us. We keep some extras of these items on site. We so not leave them out because we do not want to over-clutter the kitchen for our guests. Our literature does indicate that we provide what “most” groups need for cooking, but any specialty items, such as electric crock pots and turkey carvers, etc., should be brought by the guest to be sure they have they have what they need for preparing any special meal. We try to keep an array of high-end scratch resistant cooking pans, pots, and cooking dishes to accommodate cooking for most groups. The Teppanyaki griddle is a one of the many amenities at the house that our guests love. We do ask that guests read the instructions on how to use and clean this grill properly. We also provide access to a video and ask that it be watched so our guests feel comfortable using it. As the grill does get extremely hot, we do give a cautionary warning to be especially careful that children do not get close to the grill or the surrounding granite to prevent an accidental burn. I am sorry if the instructions and caution caused you hesitation to use it. We do appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. We always are open to learning from our guests and improving. We are so glad your group had a fantastic stay.

Hi Nathan, We appreciate your comments and feedback and are so glad you had a fantastic stay at Aurora Point. Customer service and satisfaction is extremely important to us! We train our cleaning staff to deliver the cleanest product possible and wish you had alerted us to any issues with a dusty vent but were not informed by your group and we are unable to locate which vent was dusty but we clean the vents before and after each stay. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the wifi. We understand that the world needs to stay connected these days! That is why we provide the possible fastest wifi service available in the Valley. This may not be as fast as certain broadband services available in major cities, but we are the ONLY property in the valley to have the fastest service and fastest wifi available - we pay extra for these lines. If 20 people are connected my guess is that it would have some toll on the wifi. We also understand your concerns regarding the hot tub. We change the hot tub water after every single stay and treat the hot tub water. We want our customers to be in clean sparkling and safe water the entire time! For normal 2 and 3 night stays this isn't an issue that even requires attention, but for 7 week stays in the summer, we do advise our guests to treat and test the water to avoid any issues. Regarding the cleaning steps, we do ask that the trash is removed, dishes done, and the floors swept, the cleaners then ensure that the home is spotless, sheets and towels are washed and laundered etc.. The reason we have the cleaning fee is to make sure that the house is SPOTLESS for the next guests. The cleaning fee does not include for instance cleaning up after a large party with lots of crumbs and trash left throughout the house. We do appreciate that you had an AMAZING stay and hope to have you back soon, it was a pleasure!

We are so glad you enjoyed the beautiful view from our back deck, it is one of our favorites as well! We’re also happy you found the kitchen well stocked and the bedrooms comfortable. . As I mentioned on our call, customer service is very important to us, and providing an unforgettably positive vacation experience for our customers is why we got into this business in the first place. We are so glad you reached out during your stay so we would have had an opportunity to address the air mattress issue. As you saw, we do our best to address any amenity issues as quickly as we can if something happens to break or is missed beyond our control! As we discussed, i’m sorry to hear you found the platform bed difficult to maneuver around. The platform King Suite was designed specifically to provide unforgettable views of the ski mountain. We have found that most groups enjoy having this set up. We also made sure to properly light the step up, with proper signage that glows in the dark as well as a led strip lighting. We encourage our senior guests to choose one of our other King Master Suites that do not have any steps, for ease of movement during their stay. We also go through great lengths to make sure the floor plans depict exact measurements and layouts of the furniture and the room to ensure this will meet the expectations of our guests before they arrive. We are sorry to hear that you had trouble finding the house. We encourage our customers to use the directions we’ve provided on our website, to eliminate any confusion when navigating the mountain roads. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the need for bar soap. We keep a complete list of what we provide to our guests on our website and email ahead of our guests arrival to make sure our guests know what to expect upon arrival.
