Excellent location exceeded expectations! Great value for money with bringing the fur baby along for a short getaway! Travelled with a toddler and the space was more than adequate. Would certainly stay again thanks for having us!

We love Starfish on Straddie. We stay every year and always enjoy our stay. Carolyn is a great host. There is a pod coffee machine that takes Nespresso style pods. Every year we notice work being done on the cottage which is great - from lounge suites, to the little front deck, work is always being done to improve and update. When there is a problem (not that they are big problems - like running out of washing powder) the response is quick. Highly recommend staying here. Our doggie also gives 5 stars.

Exactly What you need for an adventure on Straddie! A comfortable place to end a long day of adventure, a board game and DVD filled bolt hole when the rain comes. Truly dog friendly (so many properties only allow the dog outside), and the exact break we needed. Close to home beach and within mins of the middle of point lookout. Wonderful weekend with my partner, 8yr old daughter and our pup. We adored our first trip to Straddie, followed the recommendations from Carolyn and Mal and will be back to stay again!

Starfish was lovely! The location was great, the cabin was cozy, and fully stocked. The bunk beds were a little creaky which didn't make for a great sleep, but the beautiful beaches made up for it. The lack of wifi at Starfish was a little challenging as our phones had really week reception at the cabin, but again, nice if you're looking to disconnect. Overall, would absolutely stay there again!

Such a cute little self contained unit with a well appointed kitchen, BBQ, comfortable beds and a beautiful front deck perfect for morning coffee. There is NO WIFI but a few TV channels and a large selection of DVDs to choose from.

Whale Watching

Fabulous dog friendly accommodation, new sundeck a great addition. Whales watching at Point Lookout our favourite place to visit. Thanks, enjoyed our weekend stay once again.
