Los Nidos Unit 3 - Point Lookout, QLD

Cette unité de rez-de-chaussée 2 chambres est située dans une position magnifique et perchée au-dessus de Deadmans Beach. Il est également à quelques pas de la plage de Cylinder ainsi que de l'hÎtel Straddie, des transports en commun, des boutiques et des restaurants. Les logements sont installés dans un agréable jardin au bout d'un cul de sac tranquille.

Caractéristiques: Unité 3 - Rez-de-chaussée - 1 lit queen, 1 lit superposé, 1 lit simple, télévision, entiÚrement blindé, décor extérieur et barbecue, lave-linge automatique et verrouiller le logement de voiture.

Great location. Loved the 2 outside decks. Well equipped and spacious unit.

First time to Straddie and we loved the unit & its position. Close to 2 beaches and food shops, buses etc.

Some elements are a bit old but overall a great place on Straddie for a small family. Kitchen had most of the things you need and everything was very functional. Will stay here again!

Enjoyable stay

Overall, this property is in a quiet, good location with just a short walk to Deadman and Cylinder beach, and is near to shops, cafes and the main beach. Although it is aging It was clean and comfortable. Our adult son had to pull the mattress in the spare room onto the floor because the bed wasn't great and checkin could mention entry through the back door. We found this property was good value for money considering the high prices of other rentals.

This property has a fantastic location and well equipped with everything you may need. Located in a nice quiet street with only a short walk to Deadman’s Beach and Cylinder Beach. For what you have to pay I would have expected a more modern/updated offering. Unit us dated, beds in second bedroom are uncomfortable, garage is tight fit for a modern vehicle. Location is convenient but no sea views Will look elsewhere next time This was a last- minute booking so maybe all the nicer and better value places were gone

Would have been great years ago!

It was difficult to work out which was our unit, the don’t have numbers and it was an old school layout. The whole place smelt so musty, had to open all doors and windows to get some fresh air. The couch is outdoor furniture and small so we couldn’t really relax on it 
 which was fine I guess as there was no smart tv or internet anyway! The place was tidy, but I was pretty disappointed otherwise. We did have a resident kangaroo that the girls got a kick out of.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the location and because it is a downstairs apartment it is ideally suited for holidaying with young kids. The staff at Ray White are excellent and extremely helpful and professional. The downside to this vacation rental is the furniture and mattresses are uncomfortable. Especially the single beds in the second bedroom. The fridge is also terrible. We brought a camping fridge because if there is anything more than basics in the fridge it barely works. This makes it really challenging when you are traveling as a family and try to bring most of your food with you from the mainland to last a week or more. A new bigger fridge and some comfortable lounge chairs in this holiday rental would make a huge difference to the comfort of guests.

Lots of breeze with all the screened windows and doors. Has the basics in the kitchen. New lounge but is still not particularly comfortable sadly. However we were out and about enjoying the island so didn’t worry us to much. Main bed was very comfortable. Will return.Had a bit of an issue with the keys on check in but was all sorted soon enough.

An enjoyable short stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was my first visit to North Stradbroke Island so I was "finding my feet" on the Island. Los Nidos Unit 3 was the perfect place to explore Point Lookout - to walk along the headland or along the beach (tide allowing) to Deadmans Beach, Cylinder Beach (a patrolled beach), the Gorge, the Hotel and the local shops. I was there when the whales were swimming south, close inshore, with their calves - so whale watching was also on my agenda from the perfect vantage point, the grassed seating area above Deadmans Beach.Unit 3 was as described and as expected - appropriate for its price range, clean and tidy, supplied as described plus quality, well laundered sheets. My only comment would be that I missed having a dishwasher but that is really a minor inconvenience.I suppose you could be disappointed with Los Nidos Unit 3 if you expected expansive ocean views from the Unit but the consolation was that a hop, step and jump down the hill was the full outdoor experience - wonderful views and expansive walking tracks. I would recommend Los Nidos 3 to friends.

Easy walk to patrolled beaches and shops. Basic but clean, with a fully-equipped kitchen and a washing machine in the garage. No air conditioning or clothes dryer, although we had no need for either in the week of our stay.

It is the perfect location for short walks to the beach to and the whales. The unit is a relaxed easy place that has all that is needed. The agent was very helpful. I would recommend Los Nidos 3.
