Host was great. Location great. The only issue was the couch was old and broken down. Very uncomfortable.

The space worked well for a last minute trip to the beach. We love this complex and have stayed at several other sites on this property. There were plenty of towels/washcloths in the condo for our family. The only improvement I would make would be to upgrade the lock from a physical key to a keypad.

Second time and LOVED it again!!!

We love staying here. Its become our home away from home. Perfect for a family with kids!!!! Amazing amenities!! Beautiful and safely tucked inside a gated community with lots of staff and security.

It was overall a good stay - mainly due to the location. Had a big issue in the kitchen, kitchen floor was dirty upon arrival and the neighbors above us kept throwing the beer cans over the railing to the ground. One thing I would add is curtains or drapes need to be added to the bedrooms due to the blinds not keeping the lights out. I would stay there again, but it was definitely not a perfect stay.

100% A Wonderful Experience!

We enjoyed our stay! The condo is very nice. It was very fitting for our little family. Price and amenities are perfect. The 3 of us enjoyed the comfort of the condo. Master bed is super cozy. I loved how there are 2 full bathrooms. Kitchen area is small but it was perfect for our 7 night stay. It was equipped with all we needed. The faucets are super cool. Love how they light up with the different hot and cold lighting. We liked the pool area and enjoyed grilling on the outside grill in the pool area. The distance from the beach is great! Overall, Definitely an A+ visit. I would totally recommend Brett Robinson and book more vacations here again. My family left very happy and with lots of memories. 🙂

We loved everything about this trip and the location we stayed at except for one problem. This cottage room is on the bottom floor. The family above us liked to party, a lot. All night. Loudly. We asked them to keep it down, but honestly even when they were just talking it sounded like they were in the same room as us. The ceilings are very low so its possible the walls were just extremely thin. However, we got little to no sleep. But, that was the luck of the draw that the family above us was so inconsiderate.

Had higher expectations

The grounds were very nice, but we were disappointed with the state of the condo. The living area furniture was quite broken down and covered in sand. There was no dish soap or coffee filters for the specific coffee maker...things that are provided in other rentals. The master bed box springs were excessively loud with even the slightest movement. As far as reaching anyone to assist with wifi issues or to report that the curtain rod at the deck door fell out of the wall, had to leave a voicemail. Did not get a call back. Called again day and half later, voiced our concerns and reported the damage that was left from previous renters, and did not get another reply until later the following day

Nice but small

Overall, clean and nice. It was smaller than I imagined and living room couch was worn out leaned into the middle extremely bad. It was hard to sit on.

We have stayed here at least 6 times before and it was disappointing because the check in was inconvenient to have to go to a separate place to pick up keys and turn them in. In the condo, the table inly had 3 chairs so we could not even sit for a meal together. On the patio, it had a rusted glider and 2 chairs. They had construction items so we could not even park near the building. We have had such great memories before now, it was disappointing.

Love Plantation West!

Our 2nd time staying at Plantation West and we love it! Great pools, close to beach, and clean. We like that it’s about 15 min from main Gulf shores it gives you quiet and no crowds but you can hop in the car and be there in 15 min to enjoy restaurants or activities. Room was clean, much nicer furniture and TVs and kitchen supplies than you find at most rental properties. We prefer a keypad than trying to keep up with a house key while at pool or beach but it was worth it for a great property! Thanks!

Very Nice Unit in a Super Compound!

The Plantation is our favorite place to vacation! The units kitchen is sort of small but everything you need to extended stay is there. The Plantation has all the amenities to keep even the angriest of kids entertained! Our teenager even played with the lighted faucets in the unit. There are pools and hot tubs everywhere with the beach a hundred meters away. We do not play golf but the Kiva Golf Course's restaurant is excellent. It is also within a 100 meters of the unit. Working with the Brett/Robinson Staff is one of the primary reasons we go to Gulf Shores for vacation. And yes, we would recommend the unit but especially the Plantation Compound to anyone with a family! The new Sassy Bass restaurant was not opened during our stay. But the menu looks like it is going to be a great place to eat. Reading the remarks below, if you have to travel to town, it is about a 15 minute drive.
