Si vous cherchez une maison au bord du lac qui est intemporelle et rafraîchissante - vous avez trouvé l'endroit! Adeline est une escapade parfaite le week-end - à seulement 3 heures au nord de Chicago. Nous serions ravis de vous accueillir!

Ce luxueux domaine est situé dans le comté de Green Lake sur le lac Puckaway. La maison d'Adeline a plus de 300 pieds de façade de canal et est entourée d'un domaine privé méticuleusement entretenu.

* House Of Cool d'Adeline est un trésor de vitraux! Brian (propriétaire et architecte d'Adeline) est un collectionneur passionné de vitraux. Son amour pour la lumière est imité dans toute la maison avec de belles pièces du monde entier.

La maison d'Adeline a une cuisine entièrement équipée, deux salles à manger séparées, un patio barbecue, une grande salle avec table de billard et juke-box antique, piano, flipper et bar de 20 pieds et une immense cheminée en pierre à bois.

Un grand escalier mène au deuxième étage où se trouvent 6 chambres, chacune avec un accès privé pour s'enrouler autour du porche. Il y a 5 balançoires de véranda, 2 banquettes-lits pivotantes, un poteau de pompier reliant le porche à l'étage au spa de 20 pieds. Il y a aussi une cheminée dans la salle de bain à remous. L'étage a sa propre grande salle et salon supplémentaire avec une cheminée en pierre surdimensionnée, un Grizzly Bear de 10 pieds de haut, un bison, un morse, un lion, une antilope et d'autres taxidermies antiques exotiques. Il y a même un lustre antique de 550 livres du Bellagio pour vous accueillir lorsque vous conduisez jusqu'à la maison. Brian ne pourrait pas quitter Vegas sans ça!

Vouloir plus? Ce mois-ci, nous venons d'installer un auvent en verre teinté de 40 pieds sur la façade d'Adeline's House of Cool. Il y a une quantité obscène d'antiquités, certaines étant préférées comme notre camion de pop-corn restauré et notre cabine téléphonique antique! L'année dernière, Adeline a reçu une paire de portes françaises de 10 pieds sur mesure.

Cela étant dit, nous ne pouvons toujours pas rendre justice à Adeline. C'est une maison remarquable, aimée de tous ceux qui restent!

Great get away

Have been missing travel during Covid so needed a self contained place where our family could relocate for a long weekend and maintain our "bubble" of isolation. This place is great! Super eccentric decor, lots of space! The hot tub is huge! The kids used it as a swimming pool it was so big! Loved the fireplace and the kids had a great time spending their inheritance on pool and pinball. Kitchen with enough room for storing food and essentials so we could cook there. Brian (owner) checked in via text to make sure we were all doing well and to see if we needed anything. Thanks!

Birthday / Anniversary Celebration

The house is a huge collection of fun games and times! The middle of March in Wisconsin is hit or miss on the weather and as it turned out we got 6 inches of snow. However the house has games galore and the 10 of us were never without a fun time in store for all. Warmer weather opens up the outside to a wonderful landscaped grounds with a waterway to the lake and we will likely revisit the property during summertime. Everyone connected with the property were always in close contact to assure everything was going well and we had no issues. The wood for the fireplaces is handy right outside the door. The bar area is great and eclectic like much of the rest of the house with a huge sitting / relaxing area on the 2nd floor.

Super relaxing stay

First off just want to say everything was perfect. We met Tom right as we arrived. Super great guy who showed us around the house and got us acquainted with things. He was also just a phone call away if we had any questions. The owner Brian was also fantastic to deal with. He checked in via phone and text to make sure our stay was perfect. The house was very clean and it was very comfortable. There are so many amazing things to see and do in the house. We truly enjoyed sitting by the fire and we played lots of pinball. The hot tub was super clean and nice. Being able to Bluetooth music to the hot tub and to the bar area was also super nice. The bedrooms were all comfortable. The large dining room table was great. A good time was had by all. One of the best VRBO stays we have ever had! We all hope to be back again.

It felt as if we were staying in a museum. I truly appreciate Brian and his family keeping the legend of Adelaine alive. I enjoyed sipping my tea out on the porch and staring at the hummingbirds.Upon check-in I was greeted with my name on the mailbox and a cute letter inside. Little details like that made Adeline's House of Cool feel like home for me and my family during our stay. The house offers all the practical things you need, matches, snacks, endless hooks for wet towels, a screened in porch, infinite seats, an "intercom" system, all the cookware basics and countless DVD/VCR for entertainment.Regarding privacy during your stay you will see the Gardner (a friendly neighbor), the grounds keeper (he checks on the hot tub every few days), and we chatted with another neighbor across the water canal so its not the most isolated place but we tolerated it and it is not going to prevent us from coming back.

Great getaway with plenty to do onsite!

A little confusing to find using GPS as city does not always match, but worth the confusion. Owner communication fantastic. We brought indoor and outdoor games to play, but not needed as tons of games, movies, etc. on the property. Bring towels, good and clothes are you are good to go!

Annual Family Get Together

Overall, we had a wonderful time. The place was so big and everyone had room to spread out. The place was decorating in a way in which you would never be bored! The bar/pool room was great for everyone to be in, but the main level did lack some comfortable seating areas. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and the rooms accommodated just about all of us. The upstairs living room area was comfortable and allowed us to be together yet have some of your own time away from the crowd. The hot tub room was warm for us (since it was about -20 when we stayed). We did run into an ant problem in which the owner quickly called in an exterminator. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hot tub very much! When we first booked the place, it did sometimes take a week or so to get a response back on some questions we had. Also, the listing was a bit confusing with the description and address. The only real drawback was having to pay to use the washer/dryer and pay to use the refrigerators behind the bar ($50 for washer/dryer, $20 I believe for the coolers). The slot machine was fun, but you do have to pay to use the pool table, jukebox, and games. We also had to bring all of our own towels, so plan ahead if you are not planning on paying to use the dryer so that you all have plenty of dry towels for the showers and/or hot tub!

Needs to be seen to be believed

Our under13s were in alt! The Hot Tub with a deep-end they treated as a private pool meant bad weather did not impact the vacation. The lake was a great venue for tubing and swimming. The Pin ball game and pool table and juke box and board games got a work out. The easy wifi stereo meant the music was always available. With 8 people on multiple devices there was still ability to stream tv series. The kitchen had all the essentials. The fireman’s pole from the 360 covered porch to the 4 season room was another attraction. Kids caught lots of small fish. There were otters swimming in the channel! Teddy Roosevelt would love the taxidermy on display - and the scavenger hunt is already made up for the challenge. The 2.5 baths took us a bit aback but shower quality was great. Bikes there for use. A bit away from civilization but huge binder of options for a 30 minute drive. Kitchen equipped for cooking anything. Firepit perfect for smores and seating for 12. A few scary waxworks figures that were creepy at night. Amazing venue for relaxing with covered porches and luxurious outdoor seating/lounging.
