The house itself and the location were perfect! My main issue was the cleanliness of the property especially for the price that we paid. There was a horrible sewer smell and the property and house deserve more TLC than what it’s getting. Other than that, we would return, but for only for a cheaper rate.

I want to give this property 5 stars but cannot. The house is great, very roomy with excellent access to the beach. There were 16 of us and the house accommodated all even on rainy days. However, the house is advertised as accommodating 16 but there were only 13 forks and one teaspoon. We contacted the host 3 times and each time we were promised that they would take care of the problem. They never did, we went out and bought plastic forks

Family getaway

This house was beautiful and very functional for our large group. The location was great, close to a lot of restaurants but far enough from public access that the beach wasn't crowded. Definitely recommend Sandbar Concierge for booking excursions and grocery delivery... after getting the run around from Hertz for 5 hours at the Norfolk airport and not getting to the house until midnight the first night it was so nice to have the house stocked when we walked in! Also recommend The Cabana Boys for beach chairs, canopies and games! They worked hard to make sure we had a relaxing time on the beach every day!

Very nice property.

This property is right on the beach. The top floor has a great oceanfront view. Deck would have been great to enjoy had neighbors not smoked jane so much. Plenty of room and space on all three floors and it's near 64 which is the main strip. Some of the areas could use a deeper cleaning such as the counter chairs. Also runs out of hot water quickly but overall, was happy with the space, beach access, location and amenities. Would definitely stay again.

The property was really nice. The view on the third floor was great! There was an issue wih the hot water and we didnt have it for two days, whcih was a major problem. We also paid extra for the heated pool, but it didn't work. The hot tub water level was low and they said they'd send someone out to fix it, but they never came unfortunately. I will adjust my overall rating once I hear back on refund/compensation for the issues encountered.

Disappointed Sept 2nd-Sept 6th morning

Sheets were not available until 9:15pm, had to run to linen truck. Dishes were still in dishwasher. Window shutter outside kitchen banging 24-7 (never was fixed while we were there. Wind was blowing so hard (not anyone’s fault) Wi-fi TV’s - kept streaming in and out, couldn’t watch any shows all the way through. We checked out by 9:00 am, left the place same way we found it.

Good property, bad management

We enjoyed our stay however, the property is not being maintained with the upkeep of appliances, hvac, hot tub..house keeping. We were there for 3 days and put in for a request for bath towels, but we never got them. The water was leaking feom ceing vents, but it never got fixed. The property is in a grear location and is clean however the management of.this prowperty is lacking. Lot of rust seen on appliances, ceiling vents, hot tub. We made the best of it and had a good time, however if i see kees management associated with any property any where, i will pass on it.

Family Vacation 2023

The property is great! Nice layout of the house to be able to accommodate the entire family. Love the 3rd floor with the views and open concept. The house does need a little attention: grill tough to operate, house could use a pressure washing, the pool door needs painted, would be nice to have grass or something more functional around the pool. There was one washer broken, one dish washer broken and the AC on the bottom floor went out while there. They did come and fix dishwasher and AC but the washer has been broken since November. There is also a light on the front of the house that is rusted and hanging loose. That all being said, I would recommend this house.

Great house with a few surprises

This is an excellent beach rental home with 8 bedrooms and 8 and 1/2 bathrooms. There were several appliances that were not functioning as expected, including ice makers and freezer in kitchen, top floor air conditioner, one of the washing machines and the heat for the pool. All of the amenities were provided and the house was very clean and comfortable.

Wonderful house, overwhelmed cleaning staff.

The renters before us must have left a giant mess, as the cleaning staff was still working at 4:30 when we arrived. The pool area was carpeted with cigarette butts (including in the pool) and there were stains on doors, wrappers in beds, and lots of sand still on the floor. The staff was working super hard, so it’s by no means their fault. I think they were just overwhelmed. For the price of the house, we were a little shocked. However, we contacted Kees and they immediately responded. They took care of all of our concerns and the rest of the week went wonderfully. I do wish that someone had called or emailed us to tell us that the house wasn’t ready. It would have saved us from standing around waiting for and hour. Despite all this, it was still an amazing house and location and we would stay again.
